  • Software Update 9.0 announced for August (year did not mention Elon Musk)

Hellohttp://teslamag.de/…/…-autopilot-version9-august-startschuss-19057 The Tesla Autopilot has been on version 8 for about two years, although it has received numerous updates since then. Now Elon Musk announced on Twitter that there will be a major update to version 9 in August, which will also be the starting signal for the first functions that Tesla applies in the online configurator with “Full potential for autonomous driving”.https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/10057820888 41232385 At this year’s shareholders’ meeting, Musk said that “improved autopilot functionalities may be complete in a few months’ time. There are currently two versions of them: a very complicated version that is not yet working so well, and a simplified version that works well and is also being tested by Elon Musk himself. He used them, for example, to drive automatically up and down the motorway. It remains exciting.

  • Tip: brake discs

Hi, just get a tip from the mobile service technician. In the e-car there is the same problem as with all cars, the brake discs are corroded and at some point the TÜV says you have to change the expensive things. Especially the rear brakes are affected. In order to sand off the brake discs better you can switch in neutral and slow brake without the recuperation brake grips. Thus it is easier to become the corrosion master. He also said, however, not too strong brake son the brake heats up too much. It’s best to test it on free streke.

  • Tesla Model 3 Production: Schedule postponed again

Palo Alto – The electric car manufacturer Tesla is still not making progress with its hopeful model 3. In the fourth quarter, only 1,550 units of Tesla’s first mid-range car were delivered, as the company of Tech billionaire Elon Musk announced on Wednesday after US stock exchange closure. Thus, the already lower expectations of analysts were massively disappointed. The initially issued target of 5,000 model 3 per week moved Tesla back and forth for the second time. In October Musk had said that “we are deep in production hell.” Meanwhile, however, great progress has been made in the manufacturing process, according to the company. Investors nevertheless reacted disillusioned, the share initially fell by just under two percent. For Tesla, the success of the model 3 available in the USA starting from $35,000 is crucial. With the first medium-range car, the breakthrough in the production process is expected to take place. In the final quarter, Tesla delivered 29,870 vehicles, according to the company, which corresponds to a new record and an increase of 27 percent year-on-year. 15,200 of the luxury sedan model S were brought to the clientele by the newer electric SUV model X 13,120 units. Production of the newer electric SUV model X 13,120 units was made. According to Tesla 24,565 cars, of which 2,425 model 3.

  • Battery soon empty at Stuttgart Airport – Need help

Hi all, I got my Tesla LR AWD last weekend and we made our first trip to Stuttgart Airport yesterday, for 10 days vacation. I arrived yesterday morning with 44% battery charge at the airport parking lot. This morning it is only 35%! With this consumption the battery is empty long before we come back. I am pretty sure that I accidentally left the light on. I had changed the light settings during the ride because I’ve got light horn in automatic mode. I guess I’ve activated the main light and it’s been on since yesterday morning. I’ve tried everything through the app (lock, unlock, start, stop…) but it doesn’t change anything. The Tesla service can’t do anything and the rangers are not available at short notice. Tesla asked me to contact the parking garage at the airport. I’m waiting for feedback now, but I’m not sure if they agree to get in the car. , to turn off the light. I urgently need help! Is there someone from the Tesla community in the Stuttgart region who could help me? Someone would have to go to the car, I would then unlock it remotely and put the lights back on automatic. Of course I take over all the incurred costs and would like to pay a nice bonus for the help. Thank you in advance!

  • New vehicle – 150 KM Free on the supercharger (emission credit)

Hello, I wanted to ask how the “revenue conditions” are. Can I, for example, pick up 150 KM of the 1500 KM on 2 different superchargers on the same day? Or only 1x per week?! I found no information about this.

  • Tesla sales figures international

After discussing the decline in production and sales in Q1 2019 compared to Q4 2018, I will open up a new thread for Tesla’s international sales figures so that the DACH thread is not permanently undermined. I think it is quite possible that Tesla has appreciated the demand for the expensive Model 3 and is now missing Q1. References to this were Musk’s indications that there is no profit to be expected in Q1 that the sometimes dramatic Prei At the beginning of March, especially with S and X, the suddenly surprisingly fast delivery start in Europe, sometimes extremely short delivery times and the surprisingly early release of the SR-Model 3 in the USA. I estimate that this will now be postponed relatively soon in Europe and the other markets. Currently Tesla seems to have less a production problem than a demand problem. The demand for the expensive models of the Model 3 will probably not be the possible production fence in the medium term. S and X sales numbers have fallen sharply, and this will remain until the models are refreshed.

  • Innovations/criteria for third-party fast charging stations in the Navi

In connection with the past holiday update, there were two new features that went down somewhat in the discussion: On the one hand, the list in the Navi with the third-party charging stations was significantly extended and updated (this always happens without an displayed update via OTA), on the other hand, the criteria for inclusion in this list were changed, so that the reliability for the locations should be increased. I quote from the official : Quotation: Requirements for qualification In order for a charging station to be integrated into the Tesla navigation system, the following conditions must be met over a period of 60 days: 1. At least one compatible charging connection 2. Used regularly by Tesla drivers at least once every four days 3. The average success rate when charging is at least 90% In order to quickly detect unusable charging stations and provide our customers with an optimal user experience, the Stations removed from the Tesla navigation system as soon as one of the following conditions is met over a period of 14 days: 1. No charging sessions are detected 2. Average success rate when charging drops below 70% I find a welcome innovation in principle in order not to face unexpected problems. Only point 2 can be seen a bit critical, because if a charging station is not frequented frequently enough, but it is otherwise ok, it flies out the list. But well… with increasing BEV sales numbers such a case will become more and more rare.

  • Charging installations – Questions and answers about the topic of home loading!

Hello to all Tesla drivers and those who want to become it! The below question of a user in the range thread did not fit the topic, why it was moved here. At the same time, I want to open a technical topic, which is more and more frequently asked here in the Tesla forum, but mostly in non-topic threads…and the collected information thus unfortunately sink – a collected contact point for this did not exist so far. This thread should help the topic loadin This thread can also be used to present its own charging infrastructure (possibly with images) in order to give other users a role model for their own considerations – be it the mere place of installation, the approach, the technology used (Tesla UMC, Wallbox, own charging system) column, three-phase current, SchuKo,…) or possibly also the combination with PV or its own house memory. And now you are welcome to start! Greetings ballex MT-Team 的 Moderation ———————————- Initial question ortler: Does anyone have a supercharger at home?
