  • Are Toyota drivers aggressive??

Hello everyone. I’ve been here a lot longer at Motor-Talk and also at various brand forums. I’ve never been to Toyota since I can’t afford to drive a Japanese car for various reasons. I once had a Carina E when I was still allowed to drive and it was the best car I’ve ever had. What strikes me here is that the sound here is very often extremely aggresive. What’s the point? You would have to live in peace with each other, with the few problems that your cars make. Of course you should express your opinion about vehicles, this must always happen in this tone? Do you have any complexes here, because you “only” drive a Japanese?? What’s going on here?? Very strange…

  • Miserable Toyota salesman?

Hello, just fits quite well (because of another thread): Does someone actually know the study in which the Toyota sellers miserable customers feel like “bittellers”. Quotation: The big loser of the study is Toyota: While Toyota itself does not shine with the 21st place. The Nobel brand Lexus even lands in the 27th place. Is not different in my Toyota car dealership with the sellers. The only friendly one who would even tear himself out a leg is the gentleman at the counter of the Ers And: I’m on MT for a long time and drive Toyota (first time to Mazda and BMW). Nevertheless, I don’t have any blindfolds. What’s your opinion?

  • New Cars: Current Negotiation Discounts at Toyota Dealers

Hi, I’d like to ask the Toyota community what are the current discounts for Toyota dealers when you agree on the cash payment? I’m particularly interested in Toyota Yaris. What would be in the new model? (I know it won’t be much because the model is completely new). What can you imagine as a discount now for the old model? And one more question: is it worth considering whether to get an EU car? Or is it for such a “small” car? I recommend it? Thank you in advance! Greetings, Stam

  • Quality Report 2006 – Premium Products

After reading the QR in the AB I had to ponder once again about the definition “premium product”. What makes premium, who gives such designations. So the quality or satisfaction of customer wishes cannot be – see QR It is actually always the press that gives such designations. Obejktive criteria don’t exist, they are always felt values. Or is it simply an invention of the press to justify the premium prices? I will simply n My Yaris is also a very fine, highly reliable weighing machine, which I like better optically both inside and outside than many so-called premium cars (everything just a matter of taste). I risk it easily and make an upgrade: I drive a Premiumyaris of the premium brand Toyota from now on.

  • who has experience with lexus gs

hello wanted to ask you what experiences you have with the lexus gs. my parents think about buying a new used car this year (about 1-2 years) and in the narrower choice there were actually a 5 or a6. now the vw phaeton and the gs were added. at phaeton and gs just find the price very interesting and so far I have heard almost only good about the quality at lexus. so the phaeton is already a different class is clear to me but of the price they are already cheap z u got, we once saw one in the vw center in Cologne, great car only need we would not necessarily this size and am still skeptical about the reliability. is highly praised in the phaeton forum by all owners but many had already broken in the first months and many are of the opinion the lexus one could even compare me with phaeton. I see differently and the seller at vw in Cologne grinst also tormented when I said I would still be at genant brands inform and then maybe because of the search of a phaeton with our specifications call him. I really don’t care what is on the front and since German cars are not from Germany is the argument for me also not more relevant, earlier it was different. maybe we drive next week times at lexus köln look is yes directly opposite and bmw is also there. we have just before not to lease but want to buy a car and drive already min 6-8 years. if he still longer without problems then we also keep it. parents are still driving benz at the moment, but no longer in question. unless there is another new situation of the old find everything that came after 124 is no longer benz. interesting would be the gs 300 with automatic. I would be interested to see how with defective or small defects, consumption and stop driving characteristics. maybe has a nen gas conversion..? fagen über fraqen already in vorraus vielen thanks to mfg bender

  • Yaris 1.3 sol Automatic, 2004

Hello! I drive a Toyota Yaris 1.3 sol with automatic transmission. I am a professional commuter and so my Yaris acquired at the end of 2004 has already run 50,000km. With all the nörglers who have been in the Toyota forum lately, I first have to tell my pronounced satisfaction with the car. My Yaris had so far no breakdown, always starts immediately and the oil consumption is at 0.0. Not even a light bulb I had to change so far. Almera (with Renull technology) used other things. Nevertheless, I have a few questions.: 1.) The automatic transmission also switches uphill up to the fourth level. Then, of course, it no longer pulls uphill and slows down. The overdrive (4th level) can be switched off for this reason. Question: Can you switch the overdrive on and off without hesitation at speeds of around 100km/h. Do you have to go off the gas before? the operating instructions do not give any information about this. 2. There Several times there was a slight lack of transmission oil, which is expressed in shiftbacks. But leaks are not to be found around the transmission. What can be lazy there? 3. The car “fits” regularly V-belts, because the wheels probably do not stand in an escape. Also caused by annoying noises. My dealer has so far no remedy besides silicone spray. Does anyone else have this problem? I thank you already in advance! Greeting Christian

  • Discussion (un)culture in the Toyotaforum

Dear moderators, I like to look more often at the Toyota forum of Motor-Talk, since there are interesting news and discussions about “our brand” to read here. But it is not so amusing for anyone to have to read every day the repetition of the same brainless and right-wing rock from a few. Again and again, the same “scandal revelations” about Toyota are spread – no such small media nuance is lost. At the end we are again the “agressive Toyota drivers” with “brand glasses” who do not want to see what we are driving for retrogressive drinks. It would certainly be best for the discussion culture to moderate a little more rigorously here and filter out too provocative postings (from both sides!).
