Hi guys! I’m going to open a new thread because we had the subject briefly in the thread “Experiences”: In the nine Proace there is a heater that can be programmed according to the catalog and operating instructions on two start times. Some who have the easier radio report that they can program easily. Those with the touch display, i.e. the “larger radio” do not have the corresponding menu item. I have now written on the Toyota what they want to do and indicated that the I see that as the lack of an assured commitment and that the “catalogue error” cannot hold up as an excuse/justification, because that is too extensive. Is it very clear what Toyota says about it! Is there someone who can do the programming in the touch display or who has solved the problem?

ProaceVerso FamComf has problems with automatic air conditioning
Hello, I noticed in the summer that my Toyota ProAce Verso FamComf L2 in the 2 climate zone automatic rear does not bring cold air. I am then to dealer and have described my problem, then the workshop boss came with me to the office from the boss and quatted such a MÜLL like : Well down these are warm air ducts there comes no cold air1^ and up there comes not much so that it does not pull. I had to laugh and asked if the Toyota was serious. Then he went off off offended and fetched from the customer the in-house demonstration model and oh how it should be, the “workshop boss” became a bit blas. The Toyota blows out with full balance sour cold air ! all! channel. Then he says: ok there I have to talk to Toyota, there is something wrong I like: Oh what?! exactly my speeches, but first want to make the customer DUMM. So control part changed (last week only) Now I come to the actual: I checked on Saturday if he makes nice WARM air nice back at this season. What came was N IX / NIENTS – garnishes. Ambient air from the outside blows slightly pure above the nozzles, I turn on cold, then it becomes noticeably colder. Good I call again with friendly ones and explain that. Now CONTINUE: Since the workshop boss did not really quake me that the channels do not bring warm air up but only below these, because the sterute only controls channel top/bottom and not still warm/cold to it. Then I asked Him if this is now his serious. Demonstration car with checked whether cold air is coming everywhere, so he was blowing cold air out clean everywhere and now suddenly the car separates the channels with warm air? Now to my question: If you are making cold, does cold come out everywhere and properly? If you are making warm, does warm air come out everywhere and properly? Thank you for your answer.

Toyota Previa Question
Hello together, for some time now I have in my Toyota Previa (7-seater/year of construction 2001) the engine control people on the front. After the workshop visit I was richer by an info. At the back right the ABS sensor was defective and was exchanged by an acquaintance in front of my front door short hand. The familiar is car master and of the subject. Now this says that you can update the display zeros or also dirket if there is an update and then the display has to reset or zeros with it the L The catch is now that the update or zeroing is supposed to cost a lot of money which I can’t quite understand. This software is downloaded from the company’s intranet and played on the universal connection since January 2001 everywhere in the cars, right? What is so expensive about it? Can you do it yourself? Universal software should have the corresponding functionalities already I have seen. You can get a PC. The adapter eventu I don’t have a problem with the technology, but with the price presentation on the Toyota side. Does there have information, instructions, photos and /or other useful information in writing and picture so that I can also moor still sit calmly in my Toyota? Greeting – inkaman

First impression Toyota IQ
Hello together, then today Vrmittag once stopped at my local Toyota dealer. Wanted to see if there is already an IQ to be admired. And look there, at the entrance area was directly one in black. IQ plus. From the outside: Makes a neat impression. Split dimensions fit. Painting high quality and at the first impression from the front super bully. From the inside: Also not cheaper than one should expect from this car. Certainly not better but also not worse than in a car. nem Smart. If I sit on the driver’s seat (size 1.83 and weight slightly over 100 KG) it is not possible to sit behind it at all. On the passenger side this is only possible if the seat is far ahead. It has been so well known before and I had not expected anything else. The clarity is not really great. Neither forward nor backward. I was only there for a short time and will talk to one of the sellers there for a test drive. . I’m very excited about it. Has the car ever been driven by someone who can say a little bit about it ?. Greeting Lutz

Toyota – dealer expansion (?)
Hello everybody, I’ve noticed in the last few weeks that (at least in the surroundings) a lot of new Toyota cars appear in the landscape. And increasingly also in “better” areas (where you can only see houses of “Bavarian” or “Badian” brands), most of the “other” Toyota AH, which I know, are rather “rural”. Examples of this are the new Toyota Center in Eschborn or the one in Wiesbaden (Mainzer Landstraße). This is why my question: Is such an expansion only to be observed here in the Rhine-Main area, or is that also the case elsewhere in the Republic?

Qualidädsgriese at Dojoda 😉
———————————————————- Quality crisis at the D-CUT Hamburg, 25.10.2008 As the German trade magazine Auto-Gemälde revealed today, the Japanese quality prime Dojoda presents itself with a tangible quality problem: On vehicles equipped with the clean flagship “D-CUT” unit, the green colour of the emblem is replaced! The fiasco was discovered in a large Internet forum. The user nottip27 succeeded in a mobile phone snap shot by e in the affected vehicle, which is exclusively available to us (see installation). After intensive research, car paintings managed to locate the owner of the accident vehicle. The owner, who is known in the above mentioned forum under the name truthahnfaq, reports with tears: “I am with the nerves at the end. How could Dojoda so disappoint me? I bought the vehicle mainly because of the proverbial reliability, and then something like that! I will try to find the car because of the In the above forum, however, one is sure that this is not an individual case. Thus, the user tassap32 says: “This smells like a serial problem. Dojoda has to get dressed warm, there is certainly still one affected person, and then you will have to start a recall action!”. With the person concerned, tassap32 has no pity: “The guy is to blame for himself! If he bought a Fau-Weh, one at least knows what one has! The emblems hal The user Erasurehannes is also certain: “This has consequences for Dojoda. Sales figures will continue to move downwards due to the crisis, so that Dojoda will be behind Kai in one year’s registration statistics!” A question about the crisis that car paintings put to Dojoda Deutschländ has remained unanswered. Even in the Jaban headquarters nobody is willing to comment on the problems. A Over car paintings remains at the ball! ————————————————————————-

Farewell
My new car is here and it’s not a Toyota. I think I’m going to be less here in the near future. Thanks to all the hard-working posters here and a special thanks to Andy, who cleaned up the Toyota forum again and again when it’s messy. If someone needs Yaris, mine will be on sale soon. But wants to clean it up, clean it up and allow the last oiling, like oil changes.

Land Cruiser J7-1HZ no current although battery is ok
Hello, my father has a Land Cruiser J7-1HZ from 1994, 4.2L diesel, and for a few days now the lighter doesn’t want to start, from one day to the other… Apparently the current from the battery does not arrive, although there are 2 batteries (converted to 24V), and they are fully charged. It doesn’t work at all, light, radio, light, etc. All cables and connectors “look ok”. (I had about the same problem on my car, diag; – cable from battery was broken.) My question; has one of you already had this kind of problem? or would a good mechanic have an idea of what that might be? thank me in advance and sorry for my writing mistakes.

Survey: How satisfied were you with your Toyota in 2011?
The year is slowly coming to an end, it’s time to raise the winter tires again. We hope you’ve come through the year with your mobile kit so far! And to find out if that’s the case, we want to start a small survey again in 2011. As every year, the manufacturers have done a lot to interest us drivers in their products and services and to satisfy their customers. But: How satisfied were you with your car completely subjectively ? Or with the service that every car needs every now and then? So: How was it, your personal car year 2011? Since most manufacturers not only regularly read MOTOR-TALK, but are also in contact with us, we will go with the survey results as well as your praise and criticism in the comments aimed at the manufacturers. Therefore, in the comments, write what you liked about Toyota in general and your Toyota in particular in 2011, what is even better and what is more wasn’t so dazzling!
