Hello everyone, since I did not find a suitable, current entry for my “problem”, I thought I’d open a new topic for this. So it’s about my Yeti and its non-existent AHK. I decided to grow a later on (let it be). Now I’m not a professional in this area and hope for your help in this respect. I’m generally not sure if I should go with my project to Skoda myself? Would you just think that I would leave more money there? Or would it also be possible to order an AHK on the net or maybe even look for one on the scrap yard? Is there a bit of skill to assemble it yourself? Is the simplicity dependent on the model, i.e. rigid or removable? Or should this rather be done by a workshop? Maybe apart from Skoda itself? There are no differences with regard to the train load, or? I have already seen that the starry ones are looking for a lot of pre- Oh God, questions about questions, I hope you can help me and answer some questions. Thank you very much, Maik

Skoda Yeti Facelift Noise insulation?
Hello, wanted to ask, how is the noise insulation at the Skoda Yeti Facelift? Drive a Passat CC at the moment and find the engine compartment insulation very good, because you don’t know if the engine is on at all. You always hear that the insulation at Skoda is not so good. What are your experiences?

Karoq: Rear brakes
Hello, since June 19 have a Karoq TSI with 150 hp, automatic, 4800 km. Unfortunately, I have been annoyed for a long time: When driving backwards, one or both rear brakes “ratter or swing” and make a hell of a noise. I have the assumption that this can be due to loose brake pads or not completely loosening brake. When driving forward, this problem is not present. Maybe someone can help me in the forum? Thank you for the answers.

Original swivelling AHK retrofitting
Hello everybody, has anyone ever retrofitted an original swivelling AHK on its Karoq? The retrofit of almost 1200€ in the car dealership for such a simple thing was personally too expensive for me and a rigid or removable AHK is not possible for me. For the conversion the following is needed: – original swivelling AHK – 4x screw for the AHK attachment – ECU 5Q0907383N – button for the boot – coding of the control units The original swivelling AHK (235€) and the control unit I guess (122.50€) I already got it. Now only from Skoda needs this button and the original fixing screws. To encode I have VCDS there. So can start the retrofit soon.

KESSY – FB no longer works after battery change
Hello Skoda friends, my Skoda is 1 year and 9 months old. Now I had to change the battery of my FB. But after I have used a new, strong Varta battery, the FB no longer works. In my operating instructions it is possible that you have to synchronize the key, which I have also done according to instructions. It is also easy to understand described. Only unfortunately the FB still does not work. On the Internet I could not find anything else, which mi 1) Does anyone have a solution from you? 2) Do you know if a code is guaranteed if necessary? Look forward to your help 🙂

Karoq trunk according to ADAC only 35 liters smaller than Touran?
Hello, I am looking for a vehicle for my family (2 EW, 1 baby, 1 small dog), as compact as possible with large trunk and upright seating position. High-roof combs fall out, which are too uncomfortable for longer distances. For a number of reasons, the Karoq would be much better for me than the Touran: Matrix LED possible, still no touch operation, position infotainment is better, a little more compact dimensions… Now I have read the ADAC tests on Touran and Karoq. If I look at the dimensions of the two trunks, then I wonder how it should be possible that the difference is as small as possible here? Karoq: https://assets.adac.de/…/skoda-karoq-15-tsi-style.pdf Touran: https://assets.adac.de/…/VW_Touran_1_4_TSI_BMT_Comfortline.pdf Since I live very rurally, I don’t have a good chance to see models at the same time, maybe someone has here with us. iden experiences and likes to share them? Thanks & Greetings!

Inspection Freshly made , oil change interval falls to below half
Moin, just bought a 2.0 tdi 4×4 DSG 1 year old, 22000km facelift model. Auto dealership has made the inspection before pickup. Since 500km driven. According to display now 29400km stands for next inspection but only 14800km at oil change. The whole but only since registration in the skoda app yesterday, coincidence? According to APP and car there is only 14800km to oil change instead of 29400km as it stood up to a day before oil change and inspection. last week was 29900km for both displays until the next inspection and oil change. Is there a variable interval but just so far down by a blow ? Can this be explained ? Many greetings

Brakes front left and back right suddenly tight
Hello! I have a problem child in our workshop and wanted to ask if someone here knows or has a tip or already had…. Vehicle would be a Skoda Karoq 1.5 TSI with MKB: DADA and the KBA number 8004/ASO. Year of manufacture is 2019. Vehicle stopped in the middle of the country road with fixed brakes at the front left and at the rear right. Error memory was completely empty and after battery reset everything was free again for a short time. After a few brakings however, the brake again completely fixed, again front left and rear right. Again no fault memory and even after replacement of the main brake cylinder no improvement. It feels as if after each braking the brakes only slowly become slightly free. And when trying to vent the brakes, it was found that on relevant brake calipers hardly any brake fluid comes out of the vents. My current assumption lies on the ABS block incl. control unit. But before wild everything new I wanted to ask here if anyone had any advice. Had never heard of such a mistake in a Karoq. I would be very happy about answers!

Passing beam Always on
Hello together, I have the car as a new vehicle since the end of December. . The light switch is on “car”. Now I have found that the driving light (abbreviation light) in this switch position “car” is always on, so even if it is bright. That can’t be right. Does anyone have any advice why this is so? The symbol for the daytime running light lights and daytime driving light is also on. Instead of the switch on the symbol, the driving light (abbreviation light) goes out as it should be. aste continue to turn right, the next symbol for driving light (abbreviation light) goes on again. So as it should be. I hope I have made myself understandable and chronologically expressed. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Windscreen wiper starts in dry weather
Hello everybody, for some time now it always happens that the windscreen wiper starts “OFF” at the switch position, although it is bone dry outside. I also have the impression that it occurs more often than not. Especially this happens with slow driving and narrow curves and/or uneven road. And “no”, I don’t accidentally get to the wiper switch. The wiper switch works intentionally as desired. Do you know this perhaps – best also the Gru nd and the remedy ? Many thanks for your ideas and hints.
