Hello together Due to the very good reviews in car newspapers, from the Tüv report and the ADAC breakdown statistics I bought for my wife a Yaris as a winter car. So far, so good, from outside topp, no scratches, no rust pimple, clean car, workshop maintained and TÜV in May 2020 new. Today, when changing from summer to winter tires hit me the blow! Achräger, brake calipers and underbody totally rusted! He maybe still manages to get the next TÜV, but then he comes into the press. I want to give it back and that was the first and last Toyota! Now I’ve Googled a little (I better did before) and seen the Toyota generally very rusty, which I wouldn’t have thought. Nothing is impossible Toyota? Hello, have a Mirai year 2016, U.S. version. For the HU I have to retrofit a rear fog lamp (NSL). Since the Fzg. has no fog lights, the NSL must only be switched on when the dipped light is on and must switch off again when the dipped light is switched off. The Fzg. has LED headlights which are probably CAN bus controlled. The problem: I find no usable signal (12 V + or -) when switching on the dipped light to control a corresponding relay. Have also looked for CANbus adapter / converter, found nothing that fits the Mirai. Does anyone have experience with this topic? Thanks already for numerous answers.

My father-in-law, Spaniard, 81 years young, bought a MR2 last week in Germany and would like to drive the nearly 3000km back home at the end of the week. Now I have ordered two new front tyres, because the mounted 19 years old are. A spare wheel is missing unfortunately, and this is my next construction site. I would put an old summer tire on a steel rim, that is at least his wish. My question now is, what size is the rim, which fits in front and back on it? It’s a 4 LK. Which ET is needed? I have a Toyota Yaris (built in 2004) with 76,000 km of mileage. The car had problems with the up-turning, which is why I put it in a workshop. The diagnosis of the workshop was: wheel bearings defective, both had to be replaced. I was called a price of 250 euros per wheel bearing. The repair was carried out, but only at the wheel bearings of the rear axle. I found this questionable, because I am not sure whether the problem actually came from the rear wheel bearings. When I asked the workshop for a detailed invoice and the part numbers of the installed spare parts, I was denied this. At my repeated urge, because I have a right to know what I am paying for, I was simply told to contact their lawyer if I had any further questions. My questions: Do I have a right to receive a full invoice including part numbers? How can I resist this lack of transparency and possibly excessive prices? Has someone had similar experiences or knows how to do so best? I am grateful for every tip or experience, because I do not feel very much about it.

The following case: We bought a Yaris in Austria in September 2024 from a free German importer, which was delivered by Toyota to a Danish Toyota dealer in March 2024. This had a vehicle pool, from which the free dealers then supplied themselves on demand. Toyota Austria now believes that the manufacturer warranty begins with the delivery to the DANISH Toyota dealer. Thus we would lose a half year manufacturer warranty. Does anyone of you have a source where we could check that? That seems very strange to us. Thank you!

For four years now I’ve been on the electric road. Yesterday it happened for the third time. Battery 12% so nothing like down from the highway to the next charging station. Charging card not in the car, no problem or? You can charge so easily via app or credit card. Of four charging stations two out of operation, one occupied, one free. Charging with app or credit card only theoretically possible. After 20 min in wind, rain and cold I continue to drive frustrated with my 12% and arrive with 4% and a range of 10 km at the next charging stations. Four charging points, all work, only one occupied. Now again the same from the front. QR code search, QR code scan, error over error. New app load, load not possible. Another efahrer helped me in my distress with his card I gave him cash. Conclusion: charging without RFID card simply not possible. How are you experience on this topic would interest me if I am really the only one.

Hello together, I signed a purchase agreement today after a test drive. The dealer had no problems to write everything we discussed in the purchase contract. The following points I wanted in the purchase contract: -Next due service costs me nothing. If then the rust is still at the brakes behind it is eliminated. -On summer wheels the dealer assembles all-weather tyres. -Winter wheels I keep. -Missing trunk cover is provided by the dealer. -Since the dealer said that at the last service the hybrid check was made but he can not access it (I found something strange) I wanted to get a hybrid check carried out before delivery. -Since the previous owner apparently has been looking for a closeness to the curb edge of the curb (cratch marks at the rim), did I want to have an axle measurement before delivery. -I did not want to have a confirmation that at the past service interwalls the correct engine oil was used for a hybrid engine. -Since the seller apparently has a closeness to the curb I told me anyway a dealer performance in the next 12 months will be eliminated (except wear) but the next order is not to pay for the legislator?
