  • Toyota Hilux shuts down badly, setting coupling?

Hello together, with my Toyota Hilux Bj.2017 the following worse problem with my manual clutch, if I want to switch from Neutral to the first gear, it goes extremely hard in, the subsequent gears flood then. The problem has now slowly become worse over the last half year, yesterday so bad that I often needed three runs at the traffic light until he was in it. A few times also slipped into the reverse gear because I had to push and beat so. If he rolls it goes a bit better. I have the feeling that the clutch does not separate properly but can you adjust the clutch path? Does someone know the problem or maybe also what you can do (except to run into the workshop) ? Of course have excluded the most obvious problems like foot mat or false shoes. Thanks already and greetings, Nik

  • GT86 camshaft problems? – Loud clacking

Hello together, I visited a Toyota GT86 today, in which already in the display was pointed out a clacker from the engine compartment. I like the car overall well (and stands for the price really ok there), I just don’t know what about the engine still comes to me. The noise occurs when starting up and becomes quieter after a few minutes but does not disappear completely. I made a video of the engine start and the readout protocol is also included. Does anyone have experience with similar problems and can tell me what I should pay attention to? Thank you for your help!

  • Steering Toyota Pro Ace

Hello. I have a very important technical question! Just ask them here in the forum, maybe someone has an idea. Can you program the steering much more easily with the Pro Ace? Please only yes or no. Of course, if it has to be, all this will be taken away from the TÜV. Thank you very much.

  • Toyota Hybrid Combi – Auris or Corolla – best combination in terms of low operating costs?

Hello everyone, my next car is to become a used full hybrid-combi from Toyota. However, I still fluctuate between Auris and Corolla and also with regard to the engine I could not yet set myself on a version, especially since the power range here is also quite large. Primarily in my requirement focus is here a good combination of purely electric range and operating costs, which, in addition to the fuel costs, also include the maintenance costs as well as insurance premiums. The attainable final speed is not important for me – rather the range with a tank filling (and full battery). Luggage compartment volume is of course also important in the combination, but when I saw both models standing side by side, the (long) difference did not seem to me to be very large. What can you recommend from your own practical experience?

  • Engine CBZB 1.2 TSI

Hello together We were able to take over a Skoda Yeti 1.2 TSI with CBZB engine 105PS, family-internal, almost gifted. The car is from 2013 and runs so far without noticeable problems. I find this engine much too small for a Skoda Yeti, but that’s just my opinion. Now to the actual question: are there problems with this engine, which should be active better early than late? I mean things like e.g. AGR-coking etc. Is there any one of the already neg has had a positive experience with this engine?

  • How do you test the all-wheel drive of the Yeti for function? How should it feel?

My father has a Yeti. 110 hp, 4×4. He has reported that when driving on a smooth spot, the front wheels would have turned off. Is that so normal? Shouldn’t the wheels turn off the same as the four-wheel drive? Question: How do you test the four-wheel drive of the Yeti? How should it feel, it is not a permanent four-wheel drive, but only if necessary? A time passes between turning through the front wheels and switching on the four-wheel drive? Can one use OBDEleven to permanently drive the four-wheel drive? switch ft, or only in the short term permanent? Or somehow parameterize, with regard to faster reaction?

  • Experiences of Yeti buyers !?

Hello, since by now some Yeti are already delivered I would be very happy (and some other Yeti-interested ones certainly also ), if the hopefully happy buyers could share their experiences. Simply everything you think of, perhaps also with motorization specification and a few equipment details, so that you know what you have to order and what waste of money is . Gladly also information about the price discount , so just buy and drive everything around Yeti ! Have fun with the Yeti and many thanks in advance ! Greetings from the curious Saschiii

  • Skoda Yeti Smokes and coolant missing

Hello, I’ve been about 10 days owner of a Skoda Yeti Bj 2009 with almost 97tkm 2.0 liter diesel with 140 hp Find the car really great! I used the car of course bought from a Skoda dealer with car warranty. Now to my problem : It occurred to me already four days ago that it is a little smoke from the exhaust. Today, however, it was already the first minutes of smoking. Both paint after the cold start White smoke. Was then gone. The days in between was not ts to see. I checked today and I noticed that some cooling liquid is missing. My tip would be cylinder head gasket now?! Super!!!! Such a dirt…. Just bought and already theater! Or can it possibly be something else? Thanks in advance
