  • Buying advice Toyota Corolla for laymen

Hello, first of all: I have relatively little idea of cars I have to confess to my shame and therefore seek advice from people who do not like it – thank you already! Since my wife needs our new car now every day for about 1 1/2 years because of a real-time spontaneous transfer, I need a car for this time. It should take me 10 km daily to work and back, plus 20 extra km for trips to our building site. Instead of leasing for 12 months I wanted to lease a car The good track has already 213,000 km. However, TÜV new up to 03/18, summer and winter tyres with profile between 4.6-6,6 mm, brakes made last year, timing belts last changed only at 100,000 km. Light dents, relatively well-kept impression, allegedly mainly driven long distance. Price 999 VB. Is this, roughly estimated, ok? How long, quite roughly estimated, does the car still keep without problems? Sin d 18 months realisich, or rather 6?

  • Life expectancy of a Picnic?

I have been driving a Picnic for 6 years, meanwhile 108000 km. It is the petrol model with 2l machine and is regularly examined by the contract workshop (inspection) So far I did not have a car (Opel, Carina) longer than up to 113,000km. Since I like the Picnic overall very much and I have not yet found a great alternative, I think about investing money in new winter tires and a new audio system and driving the car as long as it goes, or how HE drives. My question: With which km-performance can I calculate? Thanks for the tips pc-2005

  • Brand change is worth it ?

Aloha dear people, just recently bought me a wonderful Audi A4 Avant and I am very satisfied… (toller entry to the Toyota Forum :-)) – The Avensis Diesel was out of the question for me, since it is objectively and subjectively undermotorized with 115 hp (motorway frequent drivers). By reading incredibly many articles, trade journals etc. before this decision, however, I have a question: Are there some of you who are from a car of a German “premium provider” I would really like to know how exactly these people have assessed the difference in quality or the brand’s error… Although it’s always called “better quality for less money” I have not been able to understand the saying so far. Of course, Toyota, Opel, Ford, Mazda etc. are great cars. However, I don’t think they can reach the said premium providers so far. In particular with regard to the used materi alien… But I have read so much good from Toyota that at least in relation to this brand I start to doubt almost again ) I drove even a Ford Mondeo before, which confirmed this assessment. Besides, I drove everything possible before my current purchase decision: Mazda 6, Skoda Octavia… everything possible halt. Wil confused. So: your opinion ? Thank you & Gruss Rolf

  • Rising accident on Toyota

Servus, I got described by a friend the following situation: He slipped to a Toyota with his Mercedes E200 Kombi at wet driving ban with approx. 20 or less km/h. This had a trailer coupling. In the Mercedes the license plate is pressed in at the place where it hit the trailer coupling. In the Toyota the trailer coupling has probably been slightly moved to the side and the lower apron has a small sheet metal damage. What can one do as a repair cost rec The Toyota owner thinks the workshop has hired an expert on its own and wants to x-ray the trailer coupling, which is more expensive than a new trailer coupling (more than 400€). Is that okay, or excessive and taking advantage of the situation? (On eBay I found couplings for just 130€…)

  • What do you think of that?

  • the incredible has happened today…

A Toyota Corolla had a breakdown and was standing right in front of our house on the sidewalk, the driver asked me about the insulation tape because a hose was torn from the air filter to the cylinder head…..the isoband did not use anything since the hose was smeared and was extremely hot,so the tape does not help, so the hose is slightly shortened and pushed on again and the clamp is then fixed again. had jumped but didn’t really take gas….stands now down and waits for the ADAC….;-) With every other car I probably wouldn’t have taken care of what kind of model it is because something like that can happen always times……read here in the forum some posts it must have been a Fata Morgana…..;-) Drum also notice a Toyota can get quite banal damage if brittle hoses are not changed in time, but there is something like that only in other cars…. So take it a little looser with your brand, although this may certainly be very reliable so does not always have to be the reason if another car stands on the stand strip a capital engine damage….. • Corolla Verso or alternative ?

Moin together, after my last stop at 72,- EUR, the desire to switch to a more economical car (yearly car) becomes stronger and stronger. My current Saab has more than 150Tkm on the hump, first technical weaknesses and a bit of rust. I would like the Toyota Corolla Verso 2,0-4D, but would be quite expensive in the subject of tax (hey, rhymes!). What alternative would be in question and how are your opinions on this (pro/contra Corolla)? Opel Meriva 1.7CDTI ? MB A 180 D ? Audi A2 TDI ? … ? Thanks for opinions – MP

  • never again audio – thanks to you and your advice

Hello to all here! have bought me a new corolla verso 1.8 since 4 months. (my first japaner) after 3 years of ploughing pitch and pan of audio ( a4 avant) and the bad service of the “fach” workshop – I have now decided for a toyota. (that was the advantage diim a4 avant he fit so pure ). but that is so far the only thing he could better. laugh…. knows a help for the antenna – there is a shorter ? according to my seller unfortunately no ! gruß max und weiter so

  • Sport or luxury ?

Halli Hello. I am faced with a difficult decision. I would like to buy a new used car and currently stand between 2 worlds. I am interested in: Toyota Celica (T23) 1.8 TS Lexus GS 300 (from year 2000) I would very much like a luxurious car, with Navi, Xenon, all electric krimskrams, and above all quiet driving behaviour, i.e. – good noise insulation. I also find the Tiptronic at Lexus quite great. If I don’t want to turn on I just make the A On the other hand, I think I like sports cars too. I always wanted to have a sports car, but somehow it never worked out. Instead of a Ford rehearsal I had to get a Ford Mondeo back then. My father forced me to do it. Later I wanted to have a Nissan 200 SX. But my father talked me out again and we agreed on the Mazda 6. But now I can choose myself (my father is for Lexus by the way) and I think “I’m only young once.” Now I’m 24 and I don’t have any children yet. Now I could get another sports car. However, I don’t know if I’ll miss the “luxury” I’ve had in my cars so far. Well, we don’t count the Escort. Oh, man, I don’t know what to do !!! I’m already the Lexus GS and the Toyota Celica. Both very great cars, as I think, which are a lot of fun to me. But just different things. …or should i ich times my father ask ?HIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLFFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
