Moin I’ve had my new caroq for a few days now. When I am amundsen I notice that I don’t get special destinations, such as petrol stations or charging stations, away from the screen. There are no hooks in the settings. Can’t you turn that off anymore?

DCC in Skoda Karoq
Dear community…I’m thinking about taking the Skoda Karoq as the next service car. Now I’m not sure if I’m using the DCC. Unfortunately, my experiences with DCC in Golf 7, are rather bad. Polternde axles, vulnerable, sport too hard, comfort too soft. How are your experiences with the Karoq with DCC suspension?

DQ 200 or 381
I want to buy a car with the 2.0 TDI 116 hp engine. It has the DQ200 or the 381 DSG transmission. I want to avoid the 200 because it only caused me problems with a previous vehicle.

Keyless error message
With my Karoq Sportline with registration 5.22 and almost 3000 km now repeated the message „Keyless error had in the display – unfortunately not permanent. Become a dealer, but possibly also others have this problem and know why that is so or how it can be fixed.

Engine cover Karoq 190 hp
When purchasing my car 4×4 with 190 hp in May, a cover was above the engine like almost all vehicles from the company. When the vehicle was picked up 2 weeks later, the cover was removed, as according to Skoda there is a fire risk in the slightly foamed cover (see photo). According to the dealer, a solution by Skoda is to be worked on. Now, after a few months, I directly asked Skoda and got the answer today. The engine cover of the ŠKODA KAROQ with the 2.0 l 140 kW TSI engine with all-wheel drive and direct gear transmission (DSG) is omitted at the beginning of 2022. Since this is the standard condition, the manufacturer, ŠKODA AUTO a.s., does not supply any engine cover. I find this reaction simply outrageous, because on the one hand I have paid for the cover available at the time of purchase, on the other hand everything is now unprotected open and possibly also lacks some insulation. The information of the dealer turned out to be a lie. Sure, I have no way to change something on the actual condition, but maybe someone here knows if a different cover made of hard plastic fits from corporate relatives or someone knows how to get the original cover.

Cooling water loss without detectable leakage
My Karoq has had a very low cooling water level several times in recent times. Under the vehicle no water residues are visible. In the workshop the cooling system was tested under pressure, there were no leaks visible. My previous observation is, the problem occurred after a longer motorway ride, the morning after then the red cooling water indicator lights up and there is actually about 300 ml missing. The cooling water temperature was always in the normal range of approx. . 90° and during the ride nothing was displayed, as said only in the morning after. The cooling water in the container looks completely normal, no streaks or lubricating. Also the oil looks completely normal at my discretion, not muddy or foamy. I also did not observe any unusual smoke development (which is also difficult during the ride as a driver). The vehicle is 6 years old and has driven about 80tkm. Since the Skoda workshop could not really help me so far, I would like to know if others also know these symptoms and if they know a solution.

Find part numbers ala ETKA – Access possible? Alternatives?
Hello, I would like to check out part numbers for various screws for my Skoda Karoq Sportline 1.5 TSI 150 PS BJ. 2019. It’s about the classic screws of the wheel suspension to VA and HA – I build a KW suspension and replace the screws – Eben Federbeinklemmung, transverse handlebar, carrying joint, at the HA from the cross handlebar, at the top of the dome of the VA and HA, etc… But as a private person I still find the Tei somehow and at all I can say that on my own, or do I have to “stop” the dealer and this one if he does it at all? I would have to have insight into the catalogue and show the dealer which screws and nuts I would like to have… Would of course ala Erwin also pay for it, no topic – But I would like to do it myself. Thank you in advance and greetings

DSG switching problems and delayed gas removal
Since August 2023 I have been driving a new Skoda Karoq 1.5 L with DSG. Since then my, otherwise very nice Karoq, has been frustrating me again and again. The delayed gas acceptance from the stand or during the ride, I feel as an insecurity and danger. Especially if you urgently need acceleration, nothing happens, but then overly used. If I want to drive at constant speed and accelerate easily, no reaction occurs. more gas, no reaction. A little more gas and it shuts down and goes off, like a rocket, almost. On the highway driving up in the construction site area with limited threaded track I tried to speed up because a truck approached. Normal way a quite normal and relaxed situation. Instead of speeding up the engine was crying out completely. I first scared myself. I slowed down and the car behaved like I was idle. Thanks to the gl The truck driver skipped the narrow left track of the construction site and nothing happened. My confidence in the reliable acceleration of the car is no longer available. I bought a new car with all imaginable amenities and the master in the workshop tells me that it is normal and there is no reason for a return or change for the car. I have been driving car and motorcycle for almost 50 years. I have already had several Opel records with 3 gear converter automatic, the first Opel Mokka with 5 gear converter A. , the PSA Mokka with 8 gear converter (a brilliant drive with three cylinders) and NIE I have had such a situation. If some think that it is the “Turboloch”. This is my fourth turbo. For example, there was still NIE before. The Karoq should be my feel-good car with comfortable entry and much age-appropriate comfort. A lot of money is powdered and no fries at all. more about it – just frustration. Of course, I’d like to find a simple solution, such as software update. How to proceed ……………….. Thank you for your attention and have fun with whatever you’re driving with. Maybe there’s a miracle 🙂 ?
