  • Manual Navi Update ECE A1 2025 to SD card breaks down with error

My Karoq still needs a manual Navi update to the SD card, so download the ZIP file from the update portal, then unpack and copy to the freshly formatted SD card. Unfortunately, unpacking the ZIP with a CRC error breaks in the file “maps\00\nds\PRODUCT\E1\ROUTING.NDS”. I have tested several downloads with different browsers, PCs, operating systems (Linux+Windows 11) and unpackers – without improvement. } Has anyone successfully executed the update? Thank you & G Rice

  • No more short beeping when inserting the reverse gear

Hello, with my Skoda Karoq year of construction 2024 there is since today suddenly when the reverse gear is inserted the short beep is no longer available. The volume reduction of the entertainment system works however. The rear sensors seem to work because it beeps when approaching an obstacle. What could this be?

  • Display 2-cylinder mode does not come

Hello, with my Karoq Sportline 1.5 TSI ACT, 110 kW, DSG, built in 2024 I have seen the display “2-cylinder mode” only once after vehicle collection, since I have tried the views of the virtual cockpit. Since then I no longer see the display, although I always have the current/average consumption display active. In which view is the text displayed? Or can it be that the ACT is defective with my vehicle?

  • When is our Karoq ready to pick up?

Hello little Karoq fans, I have been following the waiting room for some time and now I would like to write a few lines to ease my (our) patience/waiting time… Have ordered our Karoq Style 110KW on 28.11.2017 in Nuremberg and wait now….. What we have already learned from the dealer is that our Karoq was produced in the 15 KW /from 09.04.2018 The dealer called us about 2-3 weeks until delivery to you in Nuremberg. Have already the identification jams. my it are now also some holidays but how long do we still have to wait ?? has one of you a advice?? maybe here is one which car was also produced in the KW 15 and knows more … That’s worse than having to wait for Christmas gifts.

  • Missing gear indicator for DSG gearbox under level “D”

Hello, drive a Karoq* Sportline 1.5 ltr. petrol, DSG, year 2024. What I also miss in the digital display is the gear number display under “D”. In sport mode, so under “S” it shows the number of the respective gear used, e.g. “S 4” (dito when manually switching by padels). I know of my previous vehicle, Seat Leon ST FR (DSG) so that the gear number was also displayed under “D”. I think that should be a software theme and therefore programmable. d already “reprogramming” its caroque in this respect?

  • Confused: Model variants of the Karoq (Drive etc.) ?

Hello forum, After I was very impressed by the Skoda Kamiq, I have only one level higher also the Skoda Karoq in the narrow selection. Will surely soon make a test drive with the Karoq. Now, of course, I am looking in net for information about the model. What I would like to have: – 1,5l 110kW motor – automatic transmission (DSG) – trailer coupling – rear driving camera – heatable front seats – foldable backrest passenger – Varioflex rear seats Not necessarily necessary, but nice to have: – Predictive adaptive distance assistant PACC – Heatable windshield I don’t look through the models on offer. In 2023 there were apparently the models Active, Ambition , Tour, Style, Sportline, see the video from 2023 here from minute 2:40 Current (as of 27.10.2024) are only the following models displayed on Skoda.de: Tour, Sportline and a little further down on the page as equipment variant still Selection If I am looking for online leasing offers from the Karoq, au ch Offers of the variant Drive displayed (configurable new cars), e.g. here. This is somewhat incomprehensible to me, because currently there is no drive variant at Skoda.de! Does Drive necessarily mean that it is an older model year? Or is there Drive still 2024 as an EU vehicle (re-import)? Thanks for any help.

  • New EU car (Skoda Karoq) – Question on space in front and steering wheel adjustment

Hello forum, am in the process of ordering me a Skoda Karoq as a new EU car, see my contribution here:https://www.motor-talk.de/forum/karoq-kauf-fragen- zur-optionalen-austattung-t8153424.html I have of course already sat in a German caroq, am reasonably long (1.94cm) and that fit very well in the front. Can it be that an EU caroq has different space conditions, e.g. because the driver’s seat can not be pushed back as far as a German caroq? Does an EU caroq have different space conditions, e.g. because the driver’s seat can not be pushed back as far as a German caroq? aroq also always the same height and longitudinal adjustment on the steering wheel or can this also be different, for example, that you can only adjust the steering wheel in height but not in longitudinal direction? Thanks for every hint.

  • Question on equipment options 2.0 TSI Sportline

Hello, our current leasing car expires in July. Our tendency is strongly towards Karoq for the successor. If it is to become the 2.0 TSI Sportline 4×4. We have already made a configuration. I have some questions with which I hope you can help me. 1.) The Sportline has wireless Smart link as standard. Does this work well with Android Auto? I use Android Auto only for the current car – i.e. Google Maps for navigation. Therefore, I strongly prefer not to book infotainment and infotainment package Plus. The difference between infotainment and infotainment plus package is only the larger Navi display or? The two packages are functionally identical? Do the packages offer useful features / advantages that could make sense despite Android car? 2.) How good is the parking assist and the 360° camera for the checker? Is it worth the extra charge to the normal return camera? 3.) Is it right that the variable loading base leads to more boot volume? 4.) Are there certain equipment options that you would definitely recommend? Cheers
