Hello Leutz, the mechanics of the driver’s seat has given up the spirit, should mean that the up down mechanics no longer works, the lever does not seem to work properly. With a lot of feeling it works in some cases rather bad than right. Who has experience with this topic? New purchase always goes, but does not have to be, I like to try to repair it, alternatively to acquire a used one in case of failure. You understand? Is there a PDF of the inner life of the seat of the mechanics and what must when installing and repairing? Looking forward to answers, thanks. Greetings Holli PS: I made picture and video.

Robust motorization
Hello, I am currently looking for a Skoda Yeti for my wife. Essentially, all-wheel and trailer coupling is required. As far as motorization is concerned, I have read something through the forum. The TSI engines are supposed to have problems with the control chain and the pump nozzle TDI motors problems with injectors. Now my question to the experts here, which engine variant is considered reliable or with which problems rarely occur? Greeting Marco

Battery charging voltage always >= 14,9V
Hello, I have always had a charge voltage of approx. 14.9V, and often more when driving for some time. I measure this with a small measuring display (up to max. 15V) in the cigarette lighter. I verified the measurement with a fluke multimeter, so that’s right. In the past the voltage was variable; the high voltage > 14.5V..15.x V was only created when rolling out (energy recovery) and when switching on the seat heater (the tip was given to someone from the forum). e Idea, what the (to my knowledge) too high voltage could have to do with? “OBDeleven” does not report any errors. However, had apparently also a few months ago unwanted visit (martens?, shattered insulation, today at Christmas a candle stump (!) in the engine room), but no serious problems. However, I am surprised that the battery voltage always sinks quite quickly up to under 12 V. But the battery is not 3 years old.

AGR valve – Your experience after software update at the Yeti 2.0 TDI 140 PS
Hello, I’m new here in the forum! Ride a (used purchased) Yeti 2.0 TDI 140 hp from 2010 with 140 tkm, software update for 12 months at 124 tkm. So far without error messages, I’m actually quite satisfied. But after successful lawsuit now before the decision : Return with (remote) deduction of usage compensation or (remote) one-time payment and continue. From the acquaintance circle I hear some, who already had an AGR talk well before 140 tkm and others, the t Rotz software update now have 200 tkm without probs on the clock. M.E. the different experiences are not to be justified by the different operating habits (short or long distance rides) alone. My questions to the community: Be happy about any tips / decision help!

VAG angular gearbox differences
Hi guys, I’m looking for advice from experts who know the VAG gears. I get so many different statements that I hope I can find more insights here and ask this question in the VW, Skoda and AUDI forums at the same time. I drive a Soda Yeti, 09/2009 1.8TSI petrol 4 x 4 , engine CDAA, gearbox LHC. Type LHC is apparently identical to gear KSC. The angled gear is defective there. I somehow exploded at 170,000km / Case break due to internal mechanical damage probably. I need complete replacement and the search for it is difficult. The alleged today’s part no. of the angular gearbox is 0AV409053AE my mechanic says on the case he reads 0AV409053P. On the Internet I find various angular gearbox with 409053 but other pre & renumbers. The one supplier says that fits anyway, the angular gearbox would all be the same of the type at VAG, others say that does not fit because other Year of construction, wrong letter. I hope we have here a few screwdrivers who know each other with all the VAG designations and can give me advice. Or, if one has a suitable part from a butcher etc.. gladly offer…. Thank you, Gruss Joachim

The yellow plague in the cockpit YETI 100PS TDI 4×4 => Error P2563 +P00AF + 0299
Hello, I had on my YETI the flashing spiral, engine control light and the yellow particle filter symbol. Yeti 4×4 110 HP CFHF 169,000 km I had the differential pressure valve and the turbo vacuum adjustment. There were 2 loose vacuum hoses (see picture attached) flashing spiral and engine control light out. No more emergency program. Why the hoses were equal to 2x separated? Can I not explain. But after a 50 KMN ride > 2,500 u/min was also the partake lfilter light out. What a day. By the way, I cleaned the throttle valve again: I am a bit tense because of the software from VW. The company deliberately buys the defects on the EA189 TDIs due to the high bolted-up AGR rate and collects even more cheerfully from the owners. The engine definitely shuts off. Yes short distance and diesel. But since when do I buy a car with limited use … exchange is easy and learning is not necessary. I would accept supplier quality. en eg Conti. But condition is after about 15,000 km. No joke. But always change the air filter -sont threatens engine damage (whether the VW workshops believe in the nonsense they tell?) Greeting

Problems with Lambda and Haldex
Moin, I’m writing here even though I have a Yeti from 2014 because probably a lot more golf than Yeit were built with the same technology and I promise more response (-; The kollgen in the 7 forum meant the technology would be more Gen6 My Yeti with only 55tkm shows in the V… SW two errors 1) MKL was after I needed 2 start attempts after the preliminary glow (I don’t know about the diesel). Error: Bank 1 probe 1: signal too fat. What do I conclude from this? Lambda probe defective? LM M? From the FS only 1x on. 2) Haldex, will change the oil and clean the engine screen. V5 no longer has a filter. VG Stephan

Diesel particulate filter
I bought a Yeti 5L 2.0 TDI with 233,000 km. Now the indicator light for the DPF has been lit for a short time. I have now driven five tank fillings with Mathy DPF cleaner. Now the indicator light lights up again. If someone has experience what a burn out by a specialist company costs, or needs a new DPF. I would be grateful for a cost experience for this too.

Permissible tyres
The Yeti 4×4 – new car – was delivered in 2016 with the following tyre size: 225/50 R 17. The winter bikes – uncomplained by TÜV – have this size: 205/55 R 16 91 H TL. In the vehicle registration and in the EC conformity certificate the following size is indicated under No. 35 for both axles: 215/60 R16 95H 7jx16 ET 45. What’s right now? What’s allowed? I came across these differences because I want to get fresh winter tyres. Thank you for your answers!

ESP and selector position error Yeti
Good day together! I would need your help with my Yeti, year 2013, 1.2l with DSG transmission. And there is already the catch: For two days in the MFA message appears: ESC error and the lighting of the inserted gear flashes at the selector lever. If I want to start the car the message appears: „Set the selector lever in P/N, although the selector lever is on P. Two times I can still start the car after several attempts. But now unfortunately it is no longer possible. I already have the battery he is disconnected and disconnected, all fuses for the transmission and for the ESC checked and the switch lever moved back and forth with the help of the note lock and tries to start in position N. Unfortunately, everything without success. If someone is known the problem I would be very happy to answer!
