Hello to all SY owners/drivers :inside I have a MAN TGE 3.140, which is identical to the VW Crafter II When the car is parked, engine out and keys out, all doors unlock. Also the sliding doors and the rear doors. So this should not be as far as possible !! I would like the central locking to behave as in my Seat Alhambra. There the central clearance opens only the driver door after the key pull off. If you want to have all doors open The TGE is a camper and I have no interest in it, if I stand at the gas station, that someone opens the door and … whatever … VCDS is available, unfortunately I did not find any details and otherwise also nothing. Would be great if I could get a good tip Greetings from Bert

Unfortunately I am dependent on automatic gearboxes. Does anyone know if there is a chance to order in soon with AG? As in the net read, a gearbox for 2012 is thought up. Set or determine OT distribution injection pump VW LT 2 2.5TDI
Hello together! What it looks like the timing belt has slipped over from the ESP, because the tensioning roller was not really tensed. When we found the error the roll has solved itself to the extent that the belt has jumped over clearly more than 2-3 teeth. Is there a possibility to read the OT from the pump? Or is this only possible with the help of a measuring clock? VCDS would also be available but will not bring me anything as long as the engine does not start, wouldn’t it? Would I be happy about any tips!

LT28 purchase advice / engine tips
Moin together, I just want to get a van to expand this. I want to learn screws myself on the car. A buddy of mine teaches me. Therefore, the car is allowed to be a little older. So far, I only had T4 with 2.4 or 2.5 diesel engine or old LT1 on the screen, because the engines are almost indestructible and also great to screw. (cost factor and so) Now a somewhat newer LT28 has crossed my way (year of construction 2004, 83ps 2.5l diesel.) a very good shot and to be well maintained, has new TÜV etc. However, I have no idea about the engines.. is this possibly even the same as with the t4 ? Do the engines do what and what does it look like in general with the LT2 ? Would you advise me against the vehicle? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Especially if you want to screw yourself .. do or don’t make ? Many thanks for your answers in advance [Transfer from motor talk from the topic ‘VW LT28 of 2004 purchase tips’.]

Can you only replace the one injector or must m Mahag demands 3000,– Euro for the exchange………there is also a Fa. Dispute over the defective injectors for 120,– Euro. What to do. Has any of you the same problem Thank you already your startmax

In trailer operation on the motorway engine cooks over + high pressure in the cooling system
Hello is a Crafter 2.0 with 120kw Year of construction 2012 – 195.000km The first time I noticed problems when the water lack warning light approached, unfortunately I did not have a temperature indicator and therefore did not know the temperature – behavior occurred without trailer after highway ride. It turned out that the water pump is leaking, we changed the incl. the timing belt also the lid of the compensation tank was defective was also replaced. n but now again hot – only after 50-100km and uphill stretches – the balance tank has air bubbles, the temperature indicates when driving over 100 degrees (have APP with ODBII plug installed). I then open the container and the water shoots out, if I do not stop the water also comes out alone and the water deficiency indicator lights up – it happens to me that a lot of air is present in the system because the water runs after the balance tank and it bubberts relatively strongly – if m on the road (with trailer) then the temperature stays in the normal range (under 90 degrees) even after 50km! Is this the cylinder head seal or does anyone still have an opinion? thank you wolfgang

VW Amarok in four-wheel mode poorly steerable (manoeuvrability)
Hi, we got new vehicles at work, among others also a VW Amarok with switchable all-wheel drive. Now to my question: When I drive in four-wheel drive mode I noticed that the maneuverability is very limited, it is probably a differential lock active (we have a model without switchable diff lock). Is it normal that you hardly come around the curve when the all-wheel drive is switched on. In the terrain it is still possible, but if you then briefly asphalt under the wheel If the four-wheel drive stays in it, and you still try to turn to solid ground, then you feel that it’s not good for the car, it pushes hugely over the wheels, and Ruckelt, moreover, it’s hard to drive as if you had a flat tire. I quickly turn off the four-wheel drive with such things, but there will certainly be colleagues who don’t do it. So, now again my question: Is it normal that in the A, you get, and you want to turn there, you have no chance. llradmodus the maneuverability clearly suffers, and what can be broken if you drive such maneuvers despite all-wheel drive?

Deactivate Track Hold Wizard
Moin, I’d like to get an Amarok in about 2 months. I’m already on trial. I’m madly disturbed by the tracking assistant. Is there a way to permanently deactivate it? Sunny greetings from the North Sea coast

Crafter 2.0 TDI 2014 Cooling water disappears and comes back
Hello have a Crafter 2.0 TDI 163 PS bj 2014. If I drive about 15 min, the message cooling water is missing. if I run the engine and open the balance tank at the front the cooling water level rises from minimum to maximum. Does anyone know this problem? Does anyone know why the Crafter has two thermostats? Found here an image of the cooling circuit of the engine.
