…a pity! WOLFSBURG (dpa-AFX) – Volkswagen postpones the launch of its new convertible Eos. According to a report of the “Wolfsburger Nachrichten” (Tuesday) technical problems in the roof construction of the triggers are to be. VW originally wanted to bring the new model to the market in February. Now the summer is in discussion. A VW speaker called as reason an unusually large demand. Production capacities at the VW plant Portugal were not enough to the Ca Brio to bring parallel to the market across Europe./hoe/DP/tav Greeting Micha

VW Eos
The new VW convertible with steel roof will be called “eos”. Complete bullshit… Another reason that speaks against this new VW convertible. “What are you driving for a car?” “Nen Eos.” Hope that VW with the car falls on the muzzle. Not because I don’t like the car visually, it even tells me very much, only prices from 30,000,- € and such a stupid name for a car are a joke. Since I am really looking forward to the A3 convertible. Would almost bet that this is cheaper than the/d he “Eos”, and then you even have a “higher-quality” vehicle, i.e. from the name alone. And in the size ratio this “Eos” car is also not bigger than this convertible with steel roof by Peugeot. Do not know exactly which number this has. The Peugeot car, however, you get for well under 20,000,- €! If VW would have preferred to build a golf without roof and also without rollbar and with fabric roof, in addition also moderate prices, would be better off. P.S.: The new VW Cabri o with ABS, ESP and EOS.

Can anyone compare 2.0 FSI and 2.0 TFSI?
So I’m the EOS 2.0 FSI test run and I’m very excited as I’ve written several times! However, the engine was too weak for me to “have fun”! Unfortunately, it takes too long until it really goes forward! Now my question: Has someone already driven the 2.0 FSI and the 2.0 TFSI and can post a comparison? Do you remember the 50 additional hp? Are you “pressed” a bit more into the seat? Would be nice if someone could answer the questions! Thanks already!

Water front right
Water at the front right in the EOS moin moin, with us last night it rained quite strongly. I sit in my car this morning – drive off – when I braked the first time – dripped water (as a small water jet) at the front right of the roof sky. (The gap to the right of the sun visor on the passenger side) So not where the roof closes. If you press at the place against the roof you see that there is even more water – Although not a lot but a few drops came to light – in the merhin. I immediately drove to the friendly – he said at the EOS the car dealerships can not do anything themselves – for that comes jmd supraregional – he calls as soon as he has an appointment. I report more mfg

Very indiscriminate
Hello people! was always a vw-driver, except for 10!! years ago, where I drove opel, because the high-nutness of the vw-mans brought me to the palm. but was unfortunately the worst opel-time. therefore I returned 5 years ago to vw again (first 4er, now 5er golf sportline 140ps dsg). in addition to my great interest for the eos, which I have already driven, and who from the rear area (with open roof) squeaked quite violently, I stayed yesterday also with an o I also drove it, was a cosmo with all kinds of things (leather saddle brown, 17″ern etc.) and a diesel with 150ps. because I am about 50 thousand kilometers a year on the road, anyway only one diesel comes into consideration. but one thing I can tell you: the twin top was much more sporty than the eos, pushed enormously with this motor, was also extremely quiet – no nailing or rappelling – and above all there was no noise, neither vo m dach, nowhere else. since I was already driving bmw, the whole package strongly reminded me of the bmw. for a front-driver no understeer, extremely handy, excellent brake. I was really surprised, didn’t think that opel has caught up in such a way. now I’m indiscriminate, especially because the twin top looks really sporty and a decent tick is cheaper. just want to tell, although I am actually vw-driver and probably from you ” be stoned”!

Discoloration – leather seat beige
Hello to ALL !!! I received my new EOS happy on 30.04.08. On 08.04.08 I have already noticed discoloration on the light leather – of course I objected directly / complained but VW or my car dealership turns across although even the car dealership 3 has tried different leather care products and can not remove the discoloration! Has anyone experienced a tip for me – similar?! What can I do? LG, Sonnenschein3171976

My Eos Configuration
Hello, after I would like to order an Eos soon I will post my desired configuration here: EOS 2.0 FSI 110 kW 6-speed Outdoor colour: Silver Essence Metallic Upholstery: Nappalder Deep Red – Light and visual package – Ambientepacket with aluminium decor – Light alloy wheels “Monza” with 215/55R16 Runflat and tyre pressure control – Sport suspension – Xenon headlights with curved light – Radio RCD-500 with Dynaudio Soundpacket – Small winter package – Garage door opener – ISOFIX stop eyes at the passenger’s door tz – MFA plus – cancellation of the lettering for the engine designation – Windschott Total price of the config: 35,840 Euro with a few things I still fluctuate … The Dynaudio system I will next week in a passat when listening to the rehearsal … if it doesn’t sound much better than the RCD-500 flies out again … The xenon headlights … hmmm how much do they really bring? pay off the 1000,- Euro or can I save myself? rn … light and vision … hmmm again so ne question … on the Coming/Leaving Home I can do without … but the inside mirror and the rain sensor are beautiful gadgets … the foldable mirrors of course also in the garage … I actually only took the ISOFIX holders in … you never know what happens, and I have to drive before the car longer … I am open to all opinions … Comments, suggestions … Greeting Gunnar PS: Why can you actually only drive the Motorsc unsubscribe and not the model designation???

Problem zone folding roof?
Hello first of all! I am very interested in the EOS, but now I have come across the following report in the current “auto touring” (magazine of the ÖAMTC, so called in Ö. der ADAC) which makes me stunned: “DACH-TURBULENZEN PROBLEMZONE technology, good and beautiful: VW for the first time programmed a five-part folding roof on a convertible – susceptibility to interference! First the elaborate kinematics worked faultlessly on the test car, but in the twentieth attempt the complicated thing gave its mind on: The sliding roof remained open, the rest of the roof no longer moved. No single case, as you can hear. In the face of a thunderstorm, only the way to the next garage remained. Less would be here, the Eos technology is simply still lacking in maturity.” I’m surprised, VW has postponed the sales start of the EOS so long that there are no problems with the roof? What are your experiences with the roof?

Navigation system: Which card manufacturer?
Hi, which card manufacturer is used on the RNS MFD2-DVD? And is it possible instead of using the MFD2 to install a retrofit system?
