I ordered my EOS TDI to pick it up in Wolfsburg. It’s not bad to visit the factory. Now my salesman called me that I can pick up the EOS on 22.06.2006….juhu….only not in Wolfsburg 🙂 but in the car dealership. Was probably delivered wrong.!! Basically it’s not so bad to own the EOS for the first time is much better. Of course would like to try to get tickets over the car dealership to go to Wolfsburg. Car town even to look at??

Hello to all experienced convertible drivers among the (future) Eos owners, what is your opinion about the theft warning system. If I want to leave the car open from time to time (e.g. parking at the shop or in front of the restaurant, without having the car in view), is that then compulsory or reacts to the ghup any more today anyway? Insurance-wise I have read that leaving a convertible open does not necessarily cost the insurance cover if the car is stolen od it is damaged in the interior (requirement: busy area, no sign of gross negligence). But what does it look like in practice? I look forward to your experiences and opinions. Greetings Holger

Doesn’t even look so bad from roof could run out a little further then it wouldn’t look so spherical. Price I find fair 25090€.

I’d like to get rid of a few questions. I’m trying to keep myself short 😉 I happened to be at my VW dealer yesterday and I saw the Eos there. I have to admit that it’s a great car (apart from the small trunk for me). Since I’ve been thinking about playing an Eos for a while I’ve of course informed myself here in the forum. Actually, I’m more the Audi trailer and have speculated on a TTC. It’s always the case that all negative assessments always meet in a forum. If you’ve read through everything, you’ll get lost in the desire for a car (roof problems, seals, creaks, flaps etc….) I’d like to know what the general mood is about the car. So quality of the car interior, if you would buy the car again, suitability for everyday use, roof quality… I have to admit, The EOS is not exactly a “deal” and I really want to spend as little time in the workshop as necessary 😉 Ohso, I have considered the edition 2009, 1.4 TSI. That happened yesterday at the dealer’s. PS. If I missed something in the search function, then I would be very happy about a reference.

Hello dear EOS community, my wife and I are thinking about whether we will get an EOS next year. However, I have already heard and read from an acquaintance (who does not drive an EOS himself) and here in the forum again and again that the EOS should be leaking. Is that really so? My wife is currently driving a Peugeot 206CC, since we never had problems with water in the roof area. Only when washing with the high pressure cleaner could some water in the area roof edge/front panel frame/be However, it was always only a running nose and only left. If it remains in this ramen also with the EOS, this is o. k. (although you should be used to a different quality from VW). Ober you really need a Lenzpump after a thunderstorm in the EOS?

After I wanted to make my EOS spring ready today, I noticed light rust on the left roof at the front of the transition to the window frame. So I opened the roof half-opened and first worked the place with a rust release so that I can bring the paint in the next few days. The roof then slipped by itself (as intended) after some time forward. I then opened the roof again electrically and probably made a stupid mistake. t goes on the rubber seal of the window frame, I put some kitchen crepe between Holm and seal before the final closing. Then I closed the roof. That’s it, apparently the crepe slipped unfortunately into the locking hook. In the later attempt to open it again came the message system error, cover operation not possible. I also noticed that the rear window can be slightly pushed up to the left. Apparently not locked. On the right it is fixed. le front in the Dachholm is closed, but you can see that there is something in between from the crepe. would it be possible that the reverberator is disturbed by this? I know that many expert members read here and hope someone has an idea, otherwise probably only the friendly one remains…… Thanks! Smaxx

Hello Eos-Freunde In March I noticed with horror that my Eos (11/06) is on the right outside mirror of the paint. The garage said that it probably hit a stone while driving. I insisted on a free replacement, since the guarantee had only expired shortly before. Conclusion: VW takes over 70% of the material costs, I pay the rest plus work. Did not pay the bill yet!!! Now in July the paint goes off on the left outside mirror. The garage said that my Eos is the first with d I have clearly said to the garage that it is a product mistake for me and I will not pay the invoices. Did the garage also address the warranty extension in case of paint damage. This meant that an outside mirror is an added part and does not fall into this guarantee!!! Yes then where else??? Let’s see how it goes on with me! Would I be very interested in how this is done with you? . Eos friends, if it’s a systhematic product error, then let’s not afford it! Greeting shereen
