Hello together, My Eos I delivered 4 weeks ago in a contract workshop, because the rear right window lifter did not work anymore. Nice weather = convertible. But it is imperative that the windows shut down, because otherwise the roof cannot be opened. Repair diagnostic restriction set to 200 €. The new engine costs approx. 160 € + AZ installation + analysis u programming of the control. I thought!!! The workshop called at noon and said the window lifter engine would def ekt u we would now be due to difficult expansion at approx. 1000 €. I said, ask again to build together and not repair, because I wanted to know from 200 €. In the evening I came to u only saw the complete disassembly of my car. After a week the new engine was installed but the roof did not work, it closes wrong. Ok. After two weeks a specialist was brought in. In the third week the car was taken to another city where one of 10 Eos specialists had this At the end of the 4th week, the managing director asked me for an appointment on Monday. The car could not be repaired, a complete roof replacement would be required, as a workshop man made a mistake at the beginning and the roof opened forcibly. I was given a rental car for free all the time. What will they submit me for a proposal on Monday? What do I have to do? I have no legal protection insurance and all work on the car was stopped, d The insurance of the car dealership has been switched on. Eos Diesel 1.6, 175 tkm, year 04/2007, full equipment, floor heating, leather, Navi RNS510

for those whose EOS is leaking.
hello, my dad had recently also the problem with the leaking eos. and that was during the ride all the water from the A column into the inside room on the pants. he then found out the next day that the ring on the cover (in the picture red circled) was not completely pushed back and therefore the water could penetrate into the inside room. if the whole here has already been mentioned I do not know, but if not then you can check if this g If all this has already been mentioned, then just ignore it. nice evening still feedback would be something fine EDIT: picture is by the way of the mobile, but I think you can see something

Water drain system changed on the roof?
Like me, various EOS owners have the problem: roof leaks. With my EOS water is currently entering the A-pillar passenger side. The base dealer now wants to know from VW that the water draining system on the A-pillar has been changed. This is now to be retrofitted on my EOS. After that the vehicle should finally be tight. Does anyone have information about this change? Is it actually or does they just want to keep me quiet, because I want to achieve a change n (that would be the fifth attempt to seal the roof).

both fans start after hours without ignition
Hello Today I would like to describe a problem which worries me and I find no solution. It is a 2.0tdi with 140 Ps. , the car stands in the carport and after hours both fans run at high speed, probably until the battery is empty on. I have read out with VCDS, but apart from 2 light plugs which are not quite ok. nothing is stored. Also a door open and ignition on and switch off does nothing. Only after disconnecting the battery is quiet, after again a close it doesn’t work, but when you put your butt on, it doesn’t hurt a lot. It started with the anti-theft system without any obvious reason and at some point the battery was empty and the car didn’t start anymore. Probably the fans ran again at night, the Wg.hat Klimatronic and Zus.Hzg. The battery is new now.

Which to Take: VW EOS or Golf Convertible
Hello EOS fans, I have a problem: friend would like to drive cabrio once and exchange your very well-kept Audi A3 Ambition 2 door for a convertible. I, who has no idea of convertibles, even BMW 3s drive, advised you to EOS or Golf. However, we can not decide between EOS and Golf. What do you think speaks for EOS or the galf convertible? I have already listed the following points, by the way, machine should become the 1.4 TSI with 122 or 160 hp. If driven against EOS yesterday too, however EOS 140 hp TDI against Golf 105 hp TDI…so I found the EOS quieter and less cuddly. But is probably mainly on the engine or? Ohso, car should also be fully driven in winter! So is no summer convertible. Tendency is currently going to golf, because cheaper and possibly easier to sell again. EOS-Ruf is probably quite damaged by water entrances. My friend also thinks EOS drive only older people… 😉 we want to buy an almost new, so day registration or demonstration car. Your opinions on this??? Thank you! Willi

Hello together, in spring I want to sell my EOS 2.0 TDI with DPF, full leather, comming home, air conditioning, wood insert etc.. The car has just run 80,000 KM and is accident-free. The current price at mobile.de starts at approx. 10. / 11. 000 EUR !?! t about 6/T EUR loses ? Look forward to your comments Greetings from the Rhineland. Klaus

Buy EOS
Moin Moin I play with the idea of buying an EOS. Bzw. the whole thing is quite concrete for me. I have already found a few very interesting offers for me. I’m just still unsure about the right engine. I’ve been testing the 2.0 TFSI with 200 hp DSG and all the shit in it and the 1.4 TSI with 160 hp. Since the 2.0er was simply too expensive it falls out. The big 1.4er TSI allowed to drive very well in my opinion and would be more than Enough. I myself am currently coming from a 80 hp Golf 6. There is PS-Mäßig everything is an improvement. 😉 Now, however, I have found two other cars in the same price range which are either better from the equipment or have considerably less down (36000 instead of 60000). Since they are a little further away I wanted to ask for your opinions here. Once it is a 1.4 TSI with 122Ps (Lenig KM) and a 2.0 FSI engine with 150 hp (Better What do you think about these motorizations? The 122 hp TSI is enough in Golf 6. In a gulf of a friend I have driven the machine before. In the combination I could be satisfied with it. Does anyone have a comparison from the gulf to the EOS? What do you say to the FSI engine? Even I have never driven the engine and I don’t know anyone who has such a motor in the car. I had only read that you can call it a “browsing walking dune”. I also think that we want to pull a horse trailer with a horse with the car or the possibility to pull one… So not every weekend at a tournament rather sporadically so that you have the possibility if the animal really has to be moved. Are these “smaller” engines enough for that at all? What do you think about it? Thanks already.

Gearbox problems + start difficulties
Moin moin ich bräcuhte mal die Hilfe von euch. I am currently driving a VW Eos 2006 year of construction, 2,0 TFSI 150 hp. The car currently has 72000 km down, and now the problems really start. Soblad the car has driven really warm (about 30 KM) bangs the gearbox when switching into the 2 gears, but only sometimes (about every 6 times). The diagnosis of the workshop is now 2 gear broken, exchange with warranty on the gears poorly possible therefore replacement gear. he car master strongly advised me not to do so by remote diagnosis on the phone, and said that it is rather the pulley of the clutch that is “oiled” (glued). What do you do? Furthermore, the car has had a lot of problems with the starter for quite some time, the starter turns about 3 sec before the car then starts tadelos and runs great afterwards. And now? Thank you in advance for helpful answers.

EOS roof problems
Hello and good day I don’t know now whether the topic EOS is still up to date! But it is like that Vw still has a problem with the quality of the roof. I have been driving an EOS 2.0TDI since September 2006 and have only problems with the roof from the beginning! At the beginning it was not dense, which was at least largely completed after countless adjustment attempts and finally the exchange of all seals! But what lasts until today is the non-opening or non-closing roof! 15 reparation attempts behind me, only unfortunately never with lasting success! Now you can rightly say,why do you not push for change after the first attempts? Well, that’s also what I ask myself now, although I am in my car dealership over twenty years customer and have always believed in it, that will happen! But now I have the problem, which I wanted to buy a new VW and now had to experience, that a VW dealer basically no EOS due to the roof problems in Za Or the car takes into account, but only if I accept a price that is an absolute mockery! And privately the car is not for sale, because I have to state the defects,as my lawyer told me!And now I am in a dispute with my car dealership, because I am the opinion that I am not paying the bill, because VW is not able to get these problems under control! After I also got in contact with VW, I was promised to find a solution, because my car dealership is my opinion,I wouldn’t be entitled to compensation! You’ll see! It’s really a pity that the joy of a really successful convertible (I mean the look and the ride, apart from the roof) is taken because you’re not willing to admit that the roof is simply not mature! And then you have to let yourself be told by your car dealership they just had bad luck!!! You can see what you are worth as a customer!! !!
