Hello all, I ordered my eos without (!) wind bulkhead, because in my TT the electric glass wind bulkhead is indeed an absolutely noble and unique gimmick, which I would order again every time, but I did not really (!) notice a difference in the turbulences on the neck, whether it has gone in or out. With a 4-seater there will probably not be such an electrically extendable “eighth shield” anyway. . And the wind bulkhead is not so shot-proof 🙂 [Well, against air guns… :-)] Also in the new Volvo convertible the wind bulkhead is not supposed to have a noticeable function. After all, you have to carry it along, and it covers the beautiful view of the rear places terribly, I find. Has someone already done real tests with and without wind bulkhead? Still I could configure my V6 if necessary, i.e. book the wind bulkhead to it. I would be happy if the tests as in the TT and Volvo failed, i.e. I could save the brim very well. After all, modern roadsters and cabrios have a very aerodynamically sophisticated windshield and side windows, which I usually only leave with clearly (!) over 20 degrees outdoor Thames below or at most with pure city driving. I am grateful for every experience report. Greeting Oliver

Collection in Wolfsburg
Finally he is ready for pick-up in Wolfsburg. Is it advisable to look at the possible flaws and the small forgetfulnesss? For example, the seals on the glass roof, the height offset between the roof and the rear window, whether the spare wheel is available etc. If “muggles” are there, should they be confirmed in writing even if they snap? Is the cover tarpaulin still included if the roof does not close?

Xenon light
Hello, I have another question! Does one of you have a photo of the eos with xenon light at night and possibly one where you can see the standlight? And another, worth Xenon at all?

Gear shift hooky since inspection
I’m pissed off at the VW Fritzen to whom I’m not giving EOS for inspection. That starts with how the mechanics drive the cars into the workshop. Since the inspection, the guide rubber has been emptied out considerably on my gear shift. In addition, I have problems with the gear change from the first gear to the second gear. I wonder if the mechanics are well insured. Because now you should make a statement that I will apply for a lawsuit without hesitation.

Valuability of the 2.0 TDI in the EOS
If you consider the additional cost of the EOS 2.0 TDI compared to the 2.0 FSI version, that is 2,000 euros. (29,950 euros to 27,950 euros). In the Passat Variant, the price difference between these two engines is only 800,– euros. Between the 2.0 TDI (29,950,– euros) and the 2.0 TFSI (30,250,– euros) the price difference for the EOS is only 250 euros, while the passat for the 2.0 TFSI 1,200,– euros more than the 2.0 TDI is required. Why did you choose a diesel? Greetings deBORA

Changes to center console !
Changes to center console! New brochure ->www.poeschko.net/eos Hello we were just to the test drive at our dealer and there I got the new sales brochure May 2006. There are the “new” radios, so the old ones only with silver controls and the whole center console is silver, so the cover around the radio, the climate buttons. Not only with aluminium decor but also with wood. I scan just the sides and then I set them here. ciao Axel

Candywhite + leather deep red??? Please comment…
Moin! My friendly handler recommended the combination white with red leather. Actually I wanted to order everything in black, but I could also like the white! Should come back in fashion. I want to sell the car again after a year and therefore ask here what you think of this combination: 2.0 TDI DPF 103 kW 6-speed exterior paint Candy-white interior Deep Red multifunction leather steering wheel standing heating and ventilation Xenon headlight with curvedfa hrlicht “RCD 500” 4 x 20 Watt, 8 Loudspeaker Theft warning system Comfort package incl. leather equipment “Nappa” Sport package “Le Mans” Winter package incl. steel wheels Attachment device removable Smoker design Drawers under the front seats Deletion of the lettering for the engine designation on the luggage compartment flap Wind bulkhead Or is that completely stupid? Has anyone seen the candy white? I am not yet sure about the heating and the theft warning system. Heating really only the interior? I would be very happy about a few comments! Gruss, Marcus

Market launch KW20 = 19/20 May
Hello me my dealer just called, market launch is the KW 20 – probably 19/20 May. The first vehicles are to be delivered in July. Who ordered now is probably in the middle/end of August. Since today also a 1.9% financing for the EOS is confirmed. How high however the dealer share is not yet known. ciao Axel
