Hello dear Fox community, I have a Fox 1.4 (year 2005) with 70,000 km. I now have the following problem: Every time I turn left it makes one or two times “cracking”. What could not be okay there? It’s definitely not normal after 70,000 km, isn’t it? Besides, I have another problem: If I drive fast through a right turn, then there’s such a grinding noise from behind. It’s the same noise that comes when braking with slightly rusted brakes from both sides. mt (which is also normal when braking – only it comes without me braking when I quickly drive a right turn). Hello all! I have a Fox 1.4 year 2008. The little one is still in the warranty, but what comes next? So far – the trunk lock – the radio – the heating controller – a disc – the “motor” from the windscreen wiper system back – cables in the windscreen wiper system back – the coolant tank – the Simmerwell (I understand, you know for sure what I mean) – and lastly a cable on the brakes (had no brake pressure, but luckily still could with brake the handbrake – but that was a bad experience!).! Have you had similar experiences, or have I only had the bad luck? How would you continue with this vehicle?

Hello, someone can help me. With my Fox sporadically often the EPC lamp lit, but then it went out every time I turned off the engine and then on again. Today it didn’t go out again, and the brake light didn’t go out either. Then I was the workshop, and then it was called: brake light switch and ignition chair… OK both replaced and then came the thick end, the workshop manager said that the engine “runs round” and the fire engine reports Feh … Now I have to put the car in the factory for about 2 days and they want to go looking for it. Please don’t laugh when you see the photo! I cut up my Fox spectacularly. Short version: I was in the Aldi parking lot, wanted to park out, and I drove into a ramp that was absolutely not visible to me. The parking lot is completely new, has just been opened. Damage to the fox is about 3000 euros, the report I have not yet. The following parts are cut: front skirt, headlights right, underrun protection, climate compressor, bump in the lower holm right as well as various Small parts! Since I have a comprehensive, it does not hit me quite so hard, however, of course I have a deductible. My lawyer says that the Aldi has violated the traffic security obligation. He believes that there are no problems to get the money back. I’m curious! As I said, please don’t laugh, if I had seen the hole, I wouldn’t have gone in! Hello, a few weeks ago I reported that both vehicle doors hit in the lower area when closing on the threshold. As a result, there was a smaller “paint damage” already. After my friend’s question, this was baffling something to do. As I walked through the exhibition room and looked at an exhibited Fox I noticed that this had by far more pronounced body seals (material thickness is thicker). At the same time, the bonnet lock was also renewed. FAZIT: After I have now received the Fox again, it has to be noted that both doors are now by far to be closed with a greater use of force (as at the time with the VW-Käfer). The doors are now tighter and with further damage in the threshold area it is now no longer possible to calculate. Why the bonnet lock ss is still unclear to me. I now drive a Citroen C3, which is comparable in size to the Fox, otherwise jedo It has 4 cylinders and no control chain!!!
