Fox can’t be opened by remote control
Hello community, I recently got a silver VW Fox and on that works the unlocking with the key remote control not otherwise the ZV works well but only at the driver & passenger door – not at the rear flap. I suspect that the problem lies at the ZV in the rear flap (which gives no noise of itself at the open, close) and therefore the remote control probably does not work generally. Also the previous owner probably got something wrong at the lock The tailgate can only be opened if you turn the key in a certain angle position … But the error can also be where different (i.e.) At the conclusion I have already changed the battery – and the flashes on the driver’s door there is this LED lamp – but the flash does not blink on I hope you can help me 😉 Your Dustin

ZV, the second!
Moin, so I have a little (or bigger – depending on) problem with my Fox. I have ordered the theft warning system. As you know, the Fox only has a radio key and a normal key. Now you would have to expect, as a driver, that you can open the car with both keys to the same extent – even if with the one at the push of a button and with the other by closing at the door. Do I see this wrong? Well, last time I tried with my normal sh I didn’t think anything bad about it and deactivated it through the start process. However, when this happened to me for the second or third time, I became stunned. I tried to reproduce the error and he appeared EVERY time. So I looked into the manual and made big eyes. Because here it was said: “When opening a car with theft warning system and the key without a radio button, the ignition must be switched on immediately, otherwise the alarm is activated.” (But the alarm is already activated when I open the door) So I understand correctly that as soon as I open the vehicle mechanically, I have to trigger the alarm system, jump into the car and turn the ignition key around so that this thing goes out?!? I may hardly believe it, but it seems so. I don’t mean enough that there is only one radio key (in view of the price of the car still understandable) I also have to accept, since ss the “second key” – which has been driving cars for as long as we in our family is always at least functionally equivalent – is not even able to switch off the alarm system?! That’s the impudence in bags! So when I drive away at night and only have the normal key I wake up the neighbors first until I have jumped into the auo and the alarm system deactivated?! Can maybe someone who also has the the theft warning system check that, so that we possibly times a B The car was too expensive for that. That can even be better for our Golf 3…. If that’s really the case, then they should at least add a second radio key and I will try to make it easier for them from the ribs…. Greeting Fabian

How good is the FOX?!?! Cheap-AUTO
Hey Leutz… Get my VW FOX off today! However, it is equipped with very little equipment – 1.2, Indigo blue pearl effect, Servo, Vario, RCD 200. I am 21 years old and had a Polo 9N before, the climate and everything possible ZV had with radio, electric window lifter and so on…. However, someone drove me in and made a hitchhiking — Search remained meaningless… Now he is sold, went no different and today I get the FOXY. Would I be pleased about your opinion… Like you e s finds without ZV and without electric window lifter… There you live in the ancient age… 🙁

Connect Ipod to original radio?
Hello guys, since last time I was really helped here, I have a little question. I have the RCD 200 in my Fox and wanted to ask if I can somehow connect my ipod over a aux cable. I heard there are such cables that come to the cdchanger connection and such a changer pretend. now I found one and wanted to ask you if you know if this could work: this would be it : 1. cable and otherwise there would be this expensive variant, but the former would be dearer to me: 2.kabel Thank you very much Benni

Crack at Left Curve
Hello dear Fox community, I have a Fox 1.4 (year 2005) with 70,000 km. I now have the following problem: Every time I turn left it makes one or two times “cracking”. What could not be okay there? It’s definitely not normal after 70,000 km, isn’t it? Besides, I have another problem: If I drive fast through a right turn, then there’s such a grinding noise from behind. It’s the same noise that comes when braking with slightly rusted brakes from both sides. mt (which is also normal when braking – only it comes without me braking when I quickly drive a right turn). Can you say something about it? Then I’m not quite so clueless in the workshop… Thank you so much Fox 1,4

Header for the Fox Forum
Hello dear Fox Forum since you don’t have your own header yet, I wanted to ask you how much interest is in having your own forum image? My suggestion would be to post here all the pictures that you think would fit. From these you can then select the Top 5 / Top 10 or how many. I will then create a survey in which you can vote and then I will direct it to the workshop. Then something to your submissions: 1) The You must have taken pictures or the copyright must be with you. This means that you must not use images of google, VW or similar ! 2) The header must have a size of 1040×100 pixels. Please bear in mind that there are M-T in different size views (S,M,L and variable). Therefore, the image is “cut off” in smaller resolution to the right. You can see the width of the single resolution here: S – 500×100 M – 700×100 L – 900×100 This means that the header in an S resolution at 9 00 pixels (measured from the left side) is cut off. Check out the different forums that already have their own header and get ideas there. Check out the different forums that already have their own header and get ideas there. And now I’m really excited about what you have for suggestions. Greetings, Johanno MT-Moderation

Monday vehicle … what now?
Hello all! I have a Fox 1.4 year 2008. The little one is still in the warranty, but what comes next? So far – the trunk lock – the radio – the heating controller – a disc – the “motor” from the windscreen wiper system back – cables in the windscreen wiper system back – the coolant tank – the Simmerwell (I understand, you know for sure what I mean) – and lastly a cable on the brakes (had no brake pressure, but luckily still could with brake the handbrake – but that was a bad experience!).! Have you had similar experiences, or have I only had the bad luck? How would you continue with this vehicle?

Help Fox to have burn problems
Hello, someone can help me. With my Fox sporadically often the EPC lamp lit, but then it went out every time I turned off the engine and then on again. Today it didn’t go out again, and the brake light didn’t go out either. Then I was the workshop, and then it was called: brake light switch and ignition chair… OK both replaced and then came the thick end, the workshop manager said that the engine “runs round” and the fire engine reports Feh … Now I have to put the car in the factory for about 2 days and they want to go looking for it. Panic… I’m not croissant. Found on the way home the car quite normal. Can someone help me and often take my panic… Thanks
