  • Just sit in the fox?

Hello, I have now built the eibach suspension. see here:http://www.motor-talk.de/t988029/f319/s/thread.html naja is really great with the 80/60 springs and the club-hard konis, but my back does not do that for the duration. in road traffic it goes still, but as soon as you drive a little more sporty off the public roads, it gets really bad. therefore I have now had my orthopaedic a recaro stühl prescribed by me (privately insured). so now I was today at recaro in kirchheim teack and I looked at a few models and can’t decide. maybe you can help me in matters of ergonomics (please only from experience) and optical. hang on two times (the two who have just agreed to me, price/performance, unfortunately have to pay the second yourself, I tried everything, even because of optical balance and correct attitude of the passenger, does not use anything, got only one on prescription) here sometimes numme r one (about 300€ the piece, leather costs on price), are slightly tight but top side and the horny, which have an integrated belt.

  • With snow, ride with new summer tires… your opinion!

Hello, have a new FOX since last Thursday, which was of course delivered with summer tyres. I thought that I only got winter tyres so in October, since I honestly did not expect to see the big snow in March. This morning, however, I have to look out of the window and the snow was about 10 cm high! I now went to work at snail speed (30km). I am aware that if an accident happens no insurance is liable, therefore I will now w Let it stand empty… Would you just like to ask yourself if you have ever had experiences with summer tires in the snow? Are some new summer tires even better than old worn out winter tires??? My regards Nessa from Nuremberg!

  • Callback Action Combined Instrument

Hello, the recall action was carried out with us about 4 weeks ago. There was the car and the driver key in the workshop. Afterwards everything seemed to be fine. Until today…… I tried to start the car with the 2nd key. Without success. The symbol “immobilizer” always flashed. The manual says: By wrong key the immobiliser was activated. Now I took the 1st key (which was also in the workshop). But also here I had k a success more. How do I get back to being able to use the car normally? Does anyone have an explanation why it went on until today and when using the second key for the first time nothing at all? Greetings scherge49

  • Is the Fox a good car at 25000 km of annual driving performance?

Hello, you have to help me {< I'm looking for a new car. Question: Can anyone tell me if the Fox is a suitable car if you drive about 25000 km a year?? Or should you rather get a polo or golf. Thanks smart-green

  • Cover fittings with fabric!!

I put something in my head again… and that’s when I came up with the idea to glue the lower fittings and the door panels (all plastic parts) with beige fabric. But in order to be able to do this correctly, I would have to expand the whole parts… !? First question… is it even possible to remove all the lower fittings and the plastic coverings in the doors without further ado? What do you think of the idea and how would you best realize it??

  • Built-in VW Fox Radio / Adapter ?

Hello, I ordered my Fox without a radio, because he has a radio preparation. I wanted to install a Blaupunkt Essen Radio. My question now, does someone know which adapter you need there or with which kind of wiring the Fox comes? Can you take the same adapter as in Golf 4 (who has changed the duration plus & Zuendplus + Phantom power for antenna) (e.g. from AIV) Or do you need something completely different… I have seen at Blaupunkt under Zubehoer -> VW -> Fox that d he specify such a VW Fakra adapter. What is that? See: http://carconf.blaupunkt.com/ The two adapters are: http://carconf.blaupunkt.com/view_product.asp?…http://carconf.blaupunkt.com/view_product.asp?… BZW the detailed images: http://carconf.blaupunkt.com/data/xml/767621175/7607621175.jpghttp://carconf.blaupunkt.com/data/xml/7607500/7607500.jpg Does anyone have any experience there? Thanks & Greeting Tim

  • Warning sound when the engine is switched off

Hello together, when turning off our VW Fox 1.2l it often comes to a whistle (no gong, like the warning sound, when the light was turned on) right after the engine is switched off (but before the key is pulled off). We were already in the workshop because of this, but nothing was found there (error memory was empty) and the warning sound did not come of course. Is this problem known to anyone? Does anyone know the cause of this?
