Hello, just wanted to tell you with which flaws I hit around: -Delle at the pick-up date (was removed) – Scratches under the paint (received compensation) – Headlights (light beam in the sky) both headlights were re-set – Windscreen wiper blade at the small wiper was broken (were replaced) – Uncertainties due to the central locking how it works properly – high fuel consumption Should not be a deterrent, but I am at the end with my nerves! ch have the car since 22.08. Hello, I have been a lucky owner of a VW Fox in silver-metallic for a few days. However, the good part has no factory-side radio and only a preparation in it (is an EU import from France). I have now got a Sony CDX-GT200 and a car radio adapter “Autoradio ISO auf VW” (from aiv) from the local Saturn (I don’t need radio). Now I have read the corresponding posts from the forum, but without success: I have the adapter to the cabling g connected by the Fox and to the adapter again the radio. Result: the CD Mechanics worked, but not everything else. Wants to mean that he leads CDs into the shaft and spits out again. More but not more. I have often read that I have to connect a cable of the adapter to the fuse. However, I did not have a plan like that worked. Maybe it would be possible that someone would put me a SChritt for step instruction here. Would be nice, would nämli ch likes to listen to music in my beautiful new car. Another question. Hello guys, Would you like to ask you if there are decorative strips for the Fox Alu to stick on for yourself somewhere, in order to upgrade the interior a little… There is a nice “bar” on the amaturary board, which you could decorate very nicely with it… Unfortunately I don’t have a picture now, but I mean the bar, which goes on to the right and to the left next to the “sheet” (which is also decorated with silver plastic), at the level of the silver plastic strip… Hope you know what I mean… alternatively gi bt it also still verzierspray, but there you would have to know first, if and how you get this bar out… Hope that someone can help me and possibly a shop knows where you can get such a thing…!? So, I’m proud Fox owner since May 2006 and unfortunately have the following problem since September 2006: My brake pedal knarrs sometimes when I want to brake with 80 and in the 5th gear. Not as strong as with an ABS brake, it is more a feeling that I press on air and give it gradually. It also a little bit but not very loudly, I notice this rather on the foot. Also you notice nothing else, so no big reeds in the car or something like that. I was already in the workshop (4 times the same) and had it looked at. The first time the fault memory was read off: nothing to see. The second time the vacuum hose would be renewed: also no change At the other two times only test drives were carried out, because this nice problem only happens once in a while, and the typical demonstration effect was there again. with the workshop master found out that I should apparently change my driving mode (he said that I should just slow down harder). I personally think this is stupid, because it doesn’t depend on the driving method, but simply that this problem is there at all. Also on the brake… Just wanted to get one (like many more) opinion(s) here, because I really don’t have any idea what to do anymore. As a woman I was dismissed in the workshop by because “she has no idea of cars anyway”. I just want to know possible causes for this problem… Would be great =)

Huhu, so slowly enough for me as well and I don’t really like the car anymore – at first really a great car, but gradually the problems accumulate, and notice that the processing is not the true one. Now I thought about driving to my friendly, and ask if I could not get a polo for the Fox, which is now also on guess payment, Vll. can be changed – so rather pay a little more and get a polo for it!? Hi guys, since I’ve read this before and apparently often ask questions about the system and radio, I wanted to post my recommendation for the smaller wallet here (namely the system that I built in… ) So as a radio I have the original RCD 200 and must say that the sound is really top with real boxers… My boxes are as follows: 2x In the front doors and on the hat shelf:http://www.blaupunkt.com/en/7606425002_main.asp Machnen e in the really good sound… Had she first only in the front in the doors, i.e. only front system, and must say that could be enough for one or the other already… After that I enjoyed it for the back (I am so spoiled when listening to music from the PC ) and there they have an even better sound, because they still have the trunk for the unfolding of their sounds as a resonant body (named also very nice bass) … Then I still have this here in the suitcase aum:http://www.blaupunkt.com/en/76 06450001_main.asp +http://www.blaupunkt.com/en/7607792134_main.asp Wanted a subwoofer, which makes even more pressure, because there are no boxes at a subwoofer, i.e. amplifiers for the rear boxes and the sub purchased and built in (but have the black version of the final stage, which fits better to the interior of the car)… Now I am very happy with my system and find the “soft” silver boxes fit well in the interior of the Fox… g is also very good for my taste, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a sher guta system… I have the Bose system in my stepfather’s Audi and must say that my system can keep up with it, the basses are even better than the Audi… All in all you have with some installation effort a very good system, with which also spoiled ears come to your expense… Price for all the parts (without radio, was already in it ): 4x 39,99€ for GTX 1 73 (is now starting from 19.99€) 1x 75€ GTA4 Special (was an offer ) 1x 45€ Subwoofer GTB 300 HP (is now already cheaper) then makes 279€ (now already for ca. 180€, I bought probably too early xD, no, because it is the exit models 2006, 2007 come new…) Hope that someone will help… MfG

When I bought a second car in August, as a convinced VW driver only the small Fox came into question for me. when I went home this evening (the last 3 km it goes uphill) and then put off the fox, I noticed a red glow (red as with a cigarette) behind the radiator grill (under the hood). when I opened the hood, what glowed (the curved one?) under a sheet cover. because I don’t know myself so well with engines and especially with vw motors: is that normal? or do I/my car have an arges problem? did not find anything in the operating instructions. however, I don’t want to know anything about myself either: is that normal? or do I/my car have an arges problem? in the wekrstatt embarrass. guaranteed I would have spent another month on the fox. what should I do? please help! thank you! gruss -pocky101-

Something very stupid happened to me today. I’ve had a Fox as a rental car for a few days. Parked the good piece in my duplex garage, there was already a lot of noise (as you probably noticed, the lower level of the garage) and I remembered again, the antenna. Was not too bad when driving in, but driving out, could not unscrew it, so someone held it while driving out, but then slipped away and the stupid antenna broke out of the anchor. What’s the fun at VW going to cost me? Thank you very much.
