Hello, today I was at the “friendly”. My tacho showed me 15,364 km so time for the oil change stop. 15:15 pure to the master “Express-Service”, it took about 10 min until he had my data in the PC. another 10 min later my Foxy drove into the workshop – I afterwards to watch. Foxy up to the bushes, lift, oil filter (with special nut!!!) turned out – there is only a paper filter in it! – car quite up and oil dropped. The employee ran around the car all the wheels, bearings and the brakes looked, on the exhaust, the shock absorbers and the rear axle wobbled. Everywhere looked – visual control – then the oil drain screw again – again – with new seal of course. Car let down again, new oil filter screwed in and oil refilled. I left the hall again. That didn’t take 20 min. After another 20 min. I got my Rechnug over 86,07€ and my car again. from inside, the mats were cleanly cleaned up, and oil filled up. I really found the round of water.

Battery regularly empty
Hello together. At Fox my mom regularly the battery is empty. -the car had bought it used 1-2 years ago. Rest current was about 80mA and despite new battery went after two days nothing more. Car sometimes stands a week without the one driving. Motor 1.2/40kW So far carried out – Retrofit ZV removed, was defective -Radio removed and door contacts disabled (clamped and insulated) Rest current now 20-30mA Interestingly, the generator lamp (battery replaced) lights up now, Voltage in operation (cigarette lighter) 14V=iO. Probably a new construction site.. If I wait for a while when the bonnet is open, something buzzes there and afterwards it sounds like a relay falls off. -rhythmically, every 2-3 minutes. I suspect that there is still a Martenschreck installed.. Question to the forum. At the minus terminal of the battery is still a cable with max. 1.5mm2. -is that “normal”, belongs there another attack? Greetings Ralf

P0030 Error despite change of Lambda probe
I have recently had the problem that my VW Fox (BJ 2006, 55hp, 190,000km, petrol) loses power again and again for a short time – there are dropouts for about a second, which then repeat themselves several times in a row. In addition, the engine control light lights up. Since I want to tackle the problem now and would like to screw (even though I am still a newcomer in the car area), I bought a error reader to find out the cause. As a result, I ordered and installed a new pre-catalytic lambda probe (from Bosch). After the replacement, I deleted the error code. However, after about 5 minutes of driving, the indicator light again lit up, and the same error code was displayed again.

Just sit in the fox?
Hello, I have now built the eibach suspension. see here:http://www.motor-talk.de/t988029/f319/s/thread.html naja is really great with the 80/60 springs and the club-hard konis, but my back does not do that for the duration. in road traffic it goes still, but as soon as you drive a little more sporty off the public roads, it gets really bad. therefore I have now had my orthopaedic a recaro stühl prescribed by me (privately insured). so now I was today at recaro in kirchheim teack and I looked at a few models and can’t decide. maybe you can help me in matters of ergonomics (please only from experience) and optical. hang on two times (the two who have just agreed to me, price/performance, unfortunately have to pay the second yourself, I tried everything, even because of optical balance and correct attitude of the passenger, does not use anything, got only one on prescription) here sometimes numme r one (about 300€ the piece, leather costs on price), are slightly tight but top side and the horny, which have an integrated belt.

With snow, ride with new summer tires… your opinion!
Hello, have a new FOX since last Thursday, which was of course delivered with summer tyres. I thought that I only got winter tyres so in October, since I honestly did not expect to see the big snow in March. This morning, however, I have to look out of the window and the snow was about 10 cm high! I now went to work at snail speed (30km). I am aware that if an accident happens no insurance is liable, therefore I will now w Let it stand empty… Would you just like to ask yourself if you have ever had experiences with summer tires in the snow? Are some new summer tires even better than old worn out winter tires??? My regards Nessa from Nuremberg!

Callback Action Combined Instrument
Hello, the recall action was carried out with us about 4 weeks ago. There was the car and the driver key in the workshop. Afterwards everything seemed to be fine. Until today…… I tried to start the car with the 2nd key. Without success. The symbol “immobilizer” always flashed. The manual says: By wrong key the immobiliser was activated. Now I took the 1st key (which was also in the workshop). But also here I had k a success more. How do I get back to being able to use the car normally? Does anyone have an explanation why it went on until today and when using the second key for the first time nothing at all? Greetings scherge49

Cover fittings with fabric!!
I put something in my head again… and that’s when I came up with the idea to glue the lower fittings and the door panels (all plastic parts) with beige fabric. But in order to be able to do this correctly, I would have to expand the whole parts… !? First question… is it even possible to remove all the lower fittings and the plastic coverings in the doors without further ado? What do you think of the idea and how would you best realize it??
