Hello Fox drivers, the Fox of my mother is only 15 months young has about 10,000 km (daily use!) down and when braking from about 80 km/h everything vibrates like crazy in the interior. Drive to the VW dealer: Brake discs are rusty in various places (hence at these places thicker), therefore the vibrating… Statement: Wearable part, brakes were used too little…^^ etc. no culant! Has someone ever had experience or similar problem and culant se itens VW? Would be by far the first KfZ which has broken brake discs after this mileage…is simply incomprehensible and indicates poor material quality. thank you for suggestions and or opinions

Coolant temperature warning sign lights up with warning signal
Hello, I have a problem with my car. When I start my car lights up after about 30 s the warning light for coolant temperature and there are 3 warning tones. The instructions say that either the temperature is too high or the coolant level is too low. The same problem occurred already about 1 1/2 weeks ago. There was the cooling average level actually just below the min limit. As a result I mixed G12 plus plus with a little water (about 3 parts G12 plus and 1 T) The coolant temperature cannot be too high after the start, or ? And coolant liquid is still enough in it. Is it completely at the outside temperatures ? I opened the balance tank again earlier to see if there was a little bit frozen. In the balance tank itself nothing was frozen. Also, I was able to keep the sleeper open again to see if there was anything frozen. In the balance tank itself nothing was frozen. I would be very grateful for the answers.

Battery empty because of external radio ?
Hello, have used the search function several times but unfortunately found nothing suitable. My daughter drives a new Fox (EU Fz.) since the beginning of March. The good piece was ordered without VW Radio, because in her Twingo a well functioning radio was built in and the Twingo was scrapped, we were of the opinion the radio is simply installed in the Fox. Okay is not so easy, but as a learned electronician you know to help yourself after a little I-Net research I knew what ic h needed for an adapter (without CAN bus adapter). You can switch your radio on and off manually. So flight the adapter bought part arrived even after a few days. Ran to the enemy. Multimeter out a little measure then was quickly clear how the radio has to be connected. Still the antenna adapter on it and everything worked excellently. After about 5-6 weeks Fox no longer starts. Okay service called car was towed and allegedly checked (battery charged). No Wor again after about 5-6 weeks the same game Fox no longer jumps on after disco visit (Fox was maybe 5 hours). In both cases no light, radio or other was left on. So again call at the service, of course the same as the first time. On Tuesday then the call from the friendly the car would be ready and can be picked up. So my daughter go pick up car, now the hammer the radio was expanded, her were 250,- Euronen from I don’t understand anything anymore in my life, certainly 30 – 50 radios have been built into different car’s but something like that hasn’t happened to me yet. Can’t and doesn’t want to believe it. I then measured a little electricity on Wednesday. Multimeter between plus cable and battery pole. The following came out. Built-in is a 60 AH battery ignition, doors closed, radio developed ——-> 0.13 A as above, with radio OFF – ——> 0.43 A as above, with radio ON ——-> 0,90 A If I look at the values then I could in theory leave the radio on about 60 hours only then the battery should be empty. If it is always switched off about twice the time. Does anyone have advice or any other idea or I make a thought error. Had the problem also described to my VW workshop there was also my opinion that it could not lie on the radio. For me the thought on one has only one Reason sought to pass on the costs !!!!

VW Fox – even more fuel-saving?
Since my Fox is growing more and more at my heart, I will probably keep it for more than three years & drive it. So I want to invest a little more money and collect some ideas on how to make the Fox even more economical. So far the following ideas have come up: – Sports air(exchange)filter – ECO-Chip – Aluminium rims (14″-165er) – Light running oil – slightly increased pressure (+0.2 bar) of the tires What do you think? Could you change even more on the Fox to further reduce fuel consumption? I don’t want to make the Fox a rocket. But I would like to have a small petrol sprite saving miracle in the garage.

What is basically repaired/controlled during the inspection 30.000 km
Hi all together, my Fox is built in 2007, approved in April. I have now meanwhile so down the 36,000 km, at 15,000 was made 1x oil change. Apparently now the inspection is slowly on or already a bit overdue, therefore I wanted to inquire now what is done in the standard during the inspection, 2 points I could already read here in the forum: – Oil change – Brake fluid Are there any other points/parts that are checked or exchanged? Which gru Additional costs are about to come to me? 200-300 €? I would like to have an approximate idea that I can reasonably estimate the “cost estimates” that I’m now catching up with. Thank you for your answers.

I buy myself a fox 1.2
hello, I have to buy a fox 1.2 with 55hp in black with radio remote control, window lift at the front electric as well as the vario package, and that at 10.100 euro (I think is a good price for Austria). that’s why I have the following questions: 1) because the highest speed is 148 and I drive on the highway 140 I get therefore a very high speed range, which also has a negative effect on the consumption, or? 2) I get a bike without front tyres in the trunk ? 3) I’m looking for a cheap car around 10,000 euros, so I’m mainly driving a car, is the fox the right choice? 4) Is it true that the fox has reached the highest number of small cars in the crash test? 5) What do I cost 4 pieces of tyres + rims? thank you & lg from Austria christoph

1. engine stutters, 2. rev indicator, 3. oil change, 4. air filter
Servus, unfortunately I am a computer freak and I have almost no idea about my car. I have a 92 polo Fox 1.0l with 33KW, 5-speed and the following problems/questions: 1. My engine stutters, roars and vibrates after the laser and does not accept gas. I then always have to drive at high speeds so that the moter does not run out in slow curves. What is this ?? I brushed off the spark plug contacts and the other end is also ok. Air filter I get a new one soon. this problem only if it was wet now every day in the morning and sometimes even on dry afternoons. 2. My FoxPolo has no rev indicator, can you just install the one from another polo or does it have no speed sensor ? 3. How do you actually make an oil change with this car? I can wait PCs, repair,.. but cars are new ground 4. almost forgotten ? I had to lower my air filter to clean the spark plug. Can I take it all off and get up again The bottom cable/hose I put on, because I don’t know if you can get it on again without tools/seat material? Many thanks for the “merciful” who takes care of me. Thank you Drago

Wheels for the Fox
Hello Have a VW FOX since today noon. 1.2 liter capacity, 55 hp, color is tornado red. The first way led to the gas station……;-) I was curious when I have to refuel ??? It should be quite economical! Look at me 🙂 The Fox is my bad weather car b.z.w. Winter car. Have another Mazda MX-5 as a summer vehicle 🙂 That’s why I had winter tires put on the steel rims! Then will buy me some aluminum wheels in the spring. Are there any pictures of the Fox m it different alloy rims??? I’m still new here and don’t know me so much. In advance thank you.
