  • Painting work (Why so expensive???)

Hello together, I wanted to have my Golf 3 painted, only from the outside and in the same color as it used to be 😉 (the paint is already a little faded). As I said, I asked myself in the vicinity of Cologne and they want to have 1500€!!!!!!! is not that outrageous????? The serial paint can not cost the world and the preparatory work is not very elaborate as it should only be painted from the outside…. What do you have for experience with the prices at lacki does anyone know anyone who could make me cheap from the area Cologne ??? mfg Martin

  • Porsche!!! and awesome rims!

Hi, I urgently need your help. I bought cheap Porsche complete bikes with one year old winter tires (about 3-4 months, so almost new) without damage for 280 euros. What do you think at the price? Is ridiculous, right? Here are the dimensions and a description of the rims: Complete winter wheels on aluminium rims “Only 1 season driven / 911 Porsche” 2 x front DUNLOP Winter Sport M2 Tyre size: 205/50 R17 89 V Profile depth: 8 mm 2 x rear DUNLOP Winter Sport M2 Tyre size: 225/45 R17 91 V Profile depth: 8 mm Complete wheels on 7.0 inch ET 55 (front) Complete wheels on 8.5 Inch ET 50 (back) PLEASE HELP ME AND GET ME HELP FREE TIPS!!!!!!!!! • Saving fuel by uncoupled?

Nen buddy of mine arrived today and said, If you let the car roll out you save sprit. So it’s logical!! But now he wanted to know what would save you more sprit? So I mean jetz, whether uncoupled or left in gear. So, my thesis: of course with uncoupled gears. But now someone else meant that the current consumption of his car in the disconnected gears is higher than with coupled gears. (That’s what his board computer told him)

  • Self-help workshops in HH

Hello, I’d like to install a power steering system myself soon, it’s also possible in the TG, but first it’s cold and second it’s starting with the ball-barges and other special tools… 30 years ago I knew pretty much all the self-help workshops in Hamburg, but now I haven’t done anything in that direction for a long time, now it could go off again (but not with necessary repairs, but above all conversions), so I would be interested if someone from the Hamburg area could recommend a self-help workshop in the area of eastern Hamburg. So spontaneously only one in Billstedt and one in a side street at the beginning of the Eiffestrasse (has also had a Lakierhalle) come to mind. Where do you screw? Sometimes it’s nicer to have a stage and to drive up the car instead of crawling under it. and a third hand is faster to get there if need is at the man than at home in the garage. Thanks for your tips Norbert Norbert

  • CO value too high

Was the last days at the TÜV, HU worked without any problems. However, there were problems with the AU: With the CO-value, which can be 0.5 at most, I was just under 3.0. The examiner said that the mixture was too fat, it always smells like gasoline. Lambda probe defective? What can it be?

  • need tips to buy Vento

Hi! I’m looking at a 96 1.8 Vento this afternoon, what do I have to pay special attention to, i.e. what is constantly broken or where are the flaws? Just so I know what I’m at. Is from the dealer, so I have a year warranty … 🙂 Thanks already

  • And what’s “after golf”?

Based on the “what was before the golf” thread I thought it would certainly be very interesting to learn what golf riders are planning for the future. Certainly not everyone knows what’s next, but I think some will have a rough idea. Will it stay a VW? Will it be another golf? Or maybe something quite different? Ride a Golf 3 VR6 at the moment. I’m really not dissatisfied. Have invested a lot of work and money in my “baby” this winter. My next car won’t necessarily be a Golf 3 again. I love it even a little bit…. maybe it should be a Golf 4 or a Passat 3B Variant. Of course not the same now, but in the medium term at some point. Both would of course be tuning objects again Why? Well, first of all, schnitzel and fries are not great every day (*g*) and besides, the 3er is also a few years old. The 4er or 3B are also IMHO a bit “adult”, with which I use the technique me ine. Car bodies, equipment, bodywork, chassis… have simply become better and more modern. I also like both models very much. But until then, Golf VR6 is still enjoyed… Well, with you?
