It’s about a Lupo (year 2002) with 1.0 MPI engine (50 hp) and 151,000 km. Unfortunately, the TÜV has something to complain about and even though I didn’t even get a diamond for 106.26 euros. According to the test report, the MIL is not working (so it doesn’t glow). There should also be something in the fault memory. The EPC LED is ok, however, fuel consumption is also 5.5 liters (city), engine is also running round. What can I do now? Did the Lupo have this exhaust warning light at all (supposed to look like an engine with the word check)?

Which alternator for the GTI?
I had to take the battery full of shock on the highway with a disco of control lights and a wild beep in the instrument cluster. Next descent down and read out the error memory. P1602 power supply Kl. 30 too small. All connections checked on the battery and under the hood. Nothing found. Error memory deleted, continued driving. After about 70 kilometers the same game from the front, but there I was only a few kilometers away from home. I checked the battery during the running engine 6.5V. I immediately thought of the generator. It would have to be normal there then 13.8V? Around there was not good to check there. I would have liked to measure B+ once. Quite strange is yes, if the engine is off, the voltage of the battery is rising again and one can only buy it after some time. So it’s safe to be on the generator! Sure is there. Unfortunately, there isn’t a good thing to do there. I would have liked to measure B+ once. Central locking spins
Hello species, at my wife’s Lupo SDI there have been several problems with the battery. Now, however, there is a new one, the best of the market, and almost everything: the central locking system spins since the multiple power outages. E.g.: if I want to completely open or close the car, it only goes on the passenger side. At the tailgate it is depending on the moon phase. Can one fix this somehow? thank you hannsheinrich

1.4 FSI tank ventilation
Hello together, am lupo newling and have since short nen FSI which does not really want to take GAs. After I filled up, it ran minimally better. Since much my suspicion of the tank ventilation. I changed the activated carbon filter and the vent valve. Holds the hand to the valve, you can relatively rarely feel the clock frequency. and for a short test drive the thing finally went off well, but at the next ride again dead pants, no clock at the valve, no acceleration. HOT WHO N tip for troubleshooting without a diagnostic device? the valve has between the two pins n resistance of 25 ohm. (should probably lie between 20 and 28) When ignition is off, both pins tensionless and no pin has connection to mass. ignite one, pin one has battery voltage 12,6V and pin 2 must be around 4V against mass. motor, pin one is between 13,1 and 13.8V can not be exchanged with the digital pin?

Air conditioning is not running properly
Hello, I know this topic has been dealt with several times, but I can’t get any further. It’s a Lupo Bj 2000 Now to the problem: The manual air conditioning brings all 24h for about 20-30 sec cold air and that was it with cold. When I bought the car the climate didn’t work at all. So I started to read in the forum to work out possible sources of error gradually. In the following order:1. Climate was filled There were still 395gr in the system so it was dense but did not cool and the fan didn’t run when it switched on. So filling out and not paid for anything at all. 2. Pressure switch (sensor) itself changed and refilled (for the filling 60€ moaned) see since the fan runs the system cools but only briefly and then no more3. All fuses checked all ok4. Temperature sensor in the water box so checked and then it starts with my non-experts. I pulled it off and started the climate. It’s all running on fan and magnetic coupling I’ve connected it all the same thing. If I’ve just mentioned it all over the air bridge.

Hi My VW Lupo 1.0 37kw First registration 01 Engine identification AUC only starts after 5-6 times orgs. Then comes out of the exhaust white smoke and it jerks briefly, after giving again gas it runs normal. After 3-4 hours of service life the same again….The following was already renewed or made for this reason : New fuel pump Green double temperature sensor spark plugs throttle valve cleaned up new cooling water (because there was only little left ) Via a bridge cable the engine was started from another car Everything helped nothing

Lupo 3L, door contact switch defective, switch lock
Hello, first of all I would like to tell you the symptoms: Open the door (central locking) with radio remote control and do not start the engine over 15 s: alarm system starts. Made my girlfriend quite at a loss. Interior light starts already when radio open. Pump for gearbox does not work when door open Summer for standing light. If I open the door and don’t get in, the vehicle locks the open door again, at least the lock. All this has worked recently, the summer is not so bad, because that is sometimes annoying. But the rest is not so practical. The pressure is now set up only when the ignition is switched on, so it takes a moment, but the Lupo 3l can then start normally. I changed the pressure storage last year. Hello all, yesterday at our Lupo the servo line was leaking directly at the steering gear. If the engine is running, it squirts out properly. 1,0, AUC engine, error: fat mixture permament, 17573, high fuel consumption
Have a Lupo with AUC engine, 1.0 liters 50hp, first there was always the error cylinder 3 misignition, also cylinder 2 or 4, but ignition system is ok. Everything exchanged. The error message no longer comes. Now the above error is continuous. Fuel consumption is very high. Injection period. 4.92ms -5.33 ms, varies very quickly between these two values. lambda probe varies hissing -5 and +5%. What is broken? Lambdason, control probe, swap?
