Lupo purchase advice
My friend would like to buy a Lupo. She would spend max. 600€. Actually he should only participate in city trips and therefore consume as little as possible. Actually, I would rather take a diesel, even if it is only 15 000 km a year with it. But in the price range many already have running performances over 100 000km! Is that still acceptable. Does a 3 cylinder petroler last a while? And what about the SDI? Is it recommended. Ithilfe, don’t have a plan from Lupo! Thank you

Lupo: Questions about Hifi/Kleinkram
Well, no matter…here are my questions: – I want to install a CD changer in the box (Becker, Silverstone, 6… height around 80mm if I am not wrong). Where can I get the best under? Trunk I wouldn’t find *so* bulging, because it’s already small enough with 130 liters anyway… – entry rails (stainless steel/alu): Can unfortunately only be quite ugly things with strange letterings (“Edition” “Evolution” “Racing” and so on stupid meaning), are there no neutral ones or which with VW or GTI logo? – Footrest: The pedals look nice, but the GTI lacks the matching aluminium footrest (as the TT has them).Is there one to buy that fits from the design to the aluminium pedals? – Motortuning: B&B offers quite nice tuning kits, but I didn’t want to put 1000 €uro on the table. Bring “Performance” airfilters what, od Is this part of Formula-K released by the TüV? If yes: Is it worth it to install it? So…I think that’s enough for the beginning…thank you for your input! E.

Gearbox damage
Hello I’m here to despair my lupo is now 55000 km old and now I have a transmission damage! Did you have similar experiences with the car or what would you do now a new transmission costs me without installation 1622€ and then still plus transmission oil etc. I have already thought about selling it but I also get nothing for with defective trims! How would it look like with equal other motor with pure ten stronger you would know one of the just fit in? Because if i Ch the old engine out to change the gear I thought that would be a possibility! thank you in advance Tschö Basti

Lupo3L no longer “turns”
Hello, after I have just successfully changed the timing belt, the Lupo doesn’t turn or run at once anymore. He suddenly went into the “empty run” during the ride (at least you don’t get the engine speed on the wheels anymore) and since then the forward and also the reverse drive is denied. For some time he only drove backwards when one had driven a short while forward. Then the switching processes suddenly sounded a little louder than usual and I thought that a ground setting would do him good. It didn’t happen any more. When I wanted to drive home from work today, he didn’t drive any more backwards at all. The gears can still be switched through and are also displayed. I deleted the fault memory and performed a diagnosis (see installation). If a gear is inserted and he can push himself like in the empty run one would suspect that it could be the clutch that has abandoned the mind. Maybe someone knows the problem and can tell me what to do. The clutch and the gear were replaced by about 70,000 km from me. Now the Walter has replaced about 27 AY.

VW Lupo P0106 – I have no idea 🙁
Hello, already in the past the forum could help me as an unregistered user, but now I don’t know more about it. I bought a VW Lupo (BJ: 2004, 80.000km, 1.4l 16V petrol) and suddenly the engine control light went on at some point (see picture), this one went out at some point and I did nothing further. When driving the engine control light went on again, everything nice and good, the car behaved normal. Suddenly the EPC light went on when driving (1 day later), the car remained normal, the car was restarted the light was gone. A few days later I drove with engine control light, suddenly the EPC light went on, my car did not take any more gas (whether it hit, I don’t know exactly, but already), after restarting my Lupos (and waiting for 2 minutes) was the EPC light still gone and he drove again. The same thing happened the day after that I liked reading a diagnostic device, the errors went off, the engine control light didn’t get off, but the Epos still got off the following again.

VW Lupo 1.7 SDI EZ.1999 Starter does not turn
My used acquired VW Lupo 1.7 sdi built in 1999 all of a sudden no longer starts. 2 days ago new battery installed, always sprung great.Now driven to work in the morning at noon work evening made, set me pure ALL the conroll lights on turn the key and NOTHING but also nothing at all. Error Lambda probe reached according to cat rule limit
Moin,Moin For some time now I have been able to reach the fault Lamdasonde according to Kat rule limit. VW Lupo BJ 2000 1.4 liter 75 hp MKB: AUA The last au was passed with ach and noise. Unfortunately I get the said error again and again. Sometimes after 3 days or even after two weeks. That the Lamdasonde itself is defective is close but I am a bit skeptical. The probe is not a rule probe. Did someone have the error already? Drosselklappe would be renewed and learned. False air is not to be found. Have now the AGR valve suspected. Someone still a flammable idea? Can of course also the cat be the probe or something else.

Ignition oscillation 1.0 MPI – I am in despair
There was a problem with the original engine valve (AUC), 132Tkm: When buying in September 2017 the vehicle had light ignition stoppages without the MKL starting, where spark plugs, ignition cable and coil came new. A few weeks ago it started again with the ignition stoppages and this time it was also in the fault memory. I saw that sparks came from the spark plugs, so there were new ignition cables. But the problem was not fixed. The ignition stoppages are always on cylinders 1 and 4 which made me suspect ignition coils. So first ignition coil checked, then other ignition coils were installed, errors still there. Spark plugs cross-changed, no change. Then my daughter told me that the MKL always only approached when it drove over 100km/h. So she should check whether this also happened in other gears at the same speed. But this was not the case. Always at higher speed. Have already the AGR valve and the pipe extended. The pipe had at the Drosselklappe only half through and the 12G filter and the valve function was also high.
