Hello to each other, I would have liked a Lupo because I like it best as a small car, the car as such so to speak without frills and of course not expensive. A dealer here in the city offers a silver-grey Lupo with year 2004, 150000 km, 50 HP for 1225 €. Well my question, with how much skepticism one should go to the purchase of such a vehicle? There are of course traces, here a rust stain, but a dent all in all well in shot. About the engine I can’t say anything, a test drive was not yet possible, the boss is still on vacation, there is only one auxiliary power on the yard. Still something quite positive, the car still has TÜF until 6.2023. Now I am thinking, whether this is a good business or not. This old Lupos is certainly already available for 600-800 € in worse condition but not here in the vicinity and to carry out such a small car over 500 km the effort is too great, at least for me because this is not my hobby. Lupo, to give from A to B is o. But I do not hope to get the answer to the truth.

3L Front axle cuff change gear side
Hi at our Lupo 3L the axle cuff is torn at the front right of the gearbox. Would you like to ask if someone has a guide for a change above all. someone could describe how this can be done more precisely. Is it a great effort to change it? I looked a bit on the internet but found only a little regarding the Lupos. Is such a spreader of needed? Is this possible or rather made possible by hobby screwdrivers? I would have had all the tools there but no lifting platform but should go like this only with a jack. Would be grateful for information and advice.

Lupo without a ZV and radio, let the ignition key copy?
Hello, today I bought a Lupo 1.0L, 37 kW, year 99. The Lupo has no ZV, no electr. FH and no climate. Unfortunately I got only one key to it. My question: can I have a key done during the key service or does the key have a chip or whatever that needs to be recognized by the on-board electronics? Thanks for hints!

Switching shaftsimmering (Lupo 1.0l 50PS) change itself PDF?
Hello Motortalk friends, at my Lupo I should definitely renew the switching shaftsimmmering. Has someone already made this out of the forum and can give tips. Maybe someone also has a PDF and can send it here? Gear key letter ESY; I think that the installation with the gearbox with the characteristic letter DXD takes place the same way.

VW Lupo too high fuel consumption
Hi guys!! I bought a Lupo a short time ago, and I noticed that the fuel consumption is quite high, for a 1.0l machine. Now my question to you. I changed air filters already, but didn’t do anything. Can this also possibly be that the spark plugs have to be renewed? Or, is that even because of the spark plugs? Please help me further! What could it possibly be? Thanks!

Maintenance costs Lupo VS Golf4 “beginners”
Hello her =) Beginner is perhaps a bit exaggerated have been driving my lobe accident-free for 2 years but unfortunately “still” to 100% and that’s the problem. I’m currently driving a Golf3 GT 90PS and the insurance and taxes have become expensive, I’m 21 years and have my driver’s license for 2 years accident-free. I drive on 100% liability and pay 80€ Mtl to insurance and 200€ taxes per year. Since I start a leerhgang in December which costs me 2000€ I have to pay mi r buy a cheaper car. Comfort doesn’t matter anyway it’s not too old, max 1998bj very cheap in the tax and insurance. I have come across 2 cars now, namely the VW Golf4 with 75hp or the VW Lupo with 50hp Both versions as a savings model say I invest almost 3000€, beautiful and well-kept Lupos is already available for 250€ at mobile.de My question to you: How much is the Lupo in maintenance, taxes, insurance, consumption, reperatures, vulnerability cheaper than a Golf4 ? I once read that the little one probably only consumes 5L on 100km? Are there “critical” cracks that I need to know before buying? say whereby I should pay particular attention to it? I thank you for your answers and still a nice day. I find the zb quite okhttp://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=bvrdwsv1sgfx OK the door is completely dirty but you could exchange that is not the world, but from the price I find the good still 200 EU down and then that would be my a uto, I don’t have very high requirements as you see, so it doesn’t have to be a TOP Lupo with EFH and climate etc for 4000EU.

about 2cm deeper
Hello dear ones, the following problem: Drive a Lupo 1.0, 50 HP. I recently installed a coil suspension. My problem is that I am about 80 mm lower in the front, but only 40! Unfortunately, back is no longer possible, so wedge shape, so looks like shit! How can I get it 2 cm lower in the back without having to buy a new suspension? Is there any lowering spring plate or something ? Or should I get shorter springs ? Or have the springs pressed ? Or the dampers kü Rzen ? Or what do you have so for suggestions, what can I do ? About one (or more) quick answer(s) I would be very happy ! Thanks in advance !!!

Sound in the Lupo
Hi, I’m new here in the forum. I wanted to install a new sound system. I wanted to replace the speakers in the front of the doors and make a power amp + bass tube at the rear. I thought about the speakers which have about the quality here: http://www.pioneer.de/en/products/25/131/201/TS-A2011/index.html The power amp is a bit older, but since I get the at a good price + bass tube: http://www.blaupunkt.com/en/7607792103_main.asp The exact data from the bass is familiar I haven’t, but my uncle said she’s good. What I wanted to know now is, do you think that’s enough or should I put some in the back? Or maybe change something else? And what dimensions must the boxes have for the doors?

Aisles no longer go in (with picture)
Hello guys, my Lupo 1.4 TDI is again unfit for driving. This time the gears don’t go in. I can move the gear lever around nicely, there is no resistance. The problem has already occurred twice. At that time just a mother was loose. After the tightening went then again with the switching. The problem was then here:http://www.bahnbilder.net/ablage/problem.jpghttp://www.bahnbilder.net/ablage/problem2.jpg For safety we then screwed on a second nut, so that the first can’t get loose again. But now the problem comes up again, although both nuts were fixed. So it seems that some gears or something has been sanded off so far that almost no contact exists anymore. With trouble and hardship we have now tightened the mother so firmly that you got in gears again. With that I drove the cart to the workshop. The workshop man said that in the worst case the complete gear has to be changed. He does not know What do you think of all this? Can you tell me exactly what that is, what it’s called and whether it can be installed separately? Or is it something completely different? Hopefully, no completely new gear has to be in, hopefully, hopefully…. Greetings, Kai
