  • Circuit, insertion from the first and back – gear has game

Have the problem with my 1.0 Lupo /98 year of construction of the 1st gear and the reverse gear only in a certain position, it seems to me as if the shift lever goes too far to the left and there is something toasting. Feels as if something has been emptied out, the complete circuit also has a lot of game. Gang 2-5 absolutely ok, only the 1st and the reverse gear must always be inserted with a lot of feeling. Does anyone have experience with such a thing? Thanks for the help!

  • VW Lupo Folding Roof

Hello, I have the problem with my Lupo folding roof that it closes the last 3 to 5 cm no longer over the engine because this is really very difficult to walk, I then always have to turn by hand with the crank the last few cm. Had not bothered me in itself, but it is unfortunately so difficult that today the crank has broken when turning on the engine, which is why I ordered a new engine. Now of course I don’t want the same thing to happen to me again with the new engine, why my question is what I have to do so that the engine closes the roof again from itself. mfg Overroller

  • Lupo, 1.0 ALL runs idle at approx. 2000-2500 rpm

Moin, had cleaned the throttle valve at mienem Lupo, because it went out at the traffic light or similar. Since the run it runs very unevenly at 20001/min. I already have another, uses throttle valve installed and learned, but no improvement. Error memory was also read out, but nothing in it. Hope one knows the problem and can help me.

  • Lupo 1.2 TDI does not start and key is in the ignition lock

Since yesterday, my lupo doesn’t start anymore. The pressure storage is relatively new, the pump purrs as usual, but if you turn the key, nothing happens. And I can’t pull the key out of the ignition lock either… A few days ago, there was always a funny noise when the car started, before the car started. Can anyone here possibly have an idea what the problem might be?

  • Catalyst? What/Where is it??

Hello dear forum, I have a question regarding catalyst at the VW Lupo. To get TÜV I have to expand my catalyst. In the workshop they kindly gave me the tip to look for a catalyst on the Internet. But now I am not quite sure what is actually the cat. According to my research there are two good offers, however, which mutually exclude each other: the one is apparently the exhaust manifold with cat: http://www.teilehaber.de/…vw-lupo-6x-6e-1-0-37kw-auc-id65227586.html the other offer is apparently a cat with front tube. http://www.teilehaber.de/…tor-with-vorderrohr-seat-vw-id24869760.html What is now the cat that are after all two completely different things and if I get the right understanding of the offer 1 (Krümmung) at offer 2 (vorderrohr etc) In the fault report of the workshop is simply: catalyst in front damage / catalyst in front of heat protection can give me a tip, what I should buy / should be great!

  • When is the fan motor running?

Moin! So since I have made my climate fit again with the GTI, I noticed that the fan will run at full power for a few seconds after switching on the climate and then stop. After that, the fan will only do the task of not overheating the cooling circuit. Is it right that the fan should normally run on level 1 with activated climate? At least in the stand? It either turns on full power or not at all, as if it only had this one level. However, I can’t imagine. The fuses under the hood look good, however, has a bit smoored there with the previous owner.. • Lupo 1.4 FSI – Switching background flashes, drives only at high speed…

After having slipped through the clutch more often with my Lupo (during the ride the engine howled briefly (speed speeded up briefly) I went online for troubleshooting, had initially suspected the clutch, but then stumbled over the basic setting. Done, done, however with a very incomplete instruction. Result: no reverse gear more. Better guidance found, restarted and the reverse gear was back again. But now there are still several errors: 1.) Jumps to stop no more 2.) Inserted gear flashes in the switching set 3.) Vehicle needs higher speed to start. I have done the basic setting several times and always made sure that the clutch value has fit (between 1.8-2.0V) What do I have to keep in mind? Yesterday I changed the pressure storage and now the car itself is much better and the circuit has become much better… Greeting TheIncredib13

  • 1.0 ALL, Ruckeln while speeding up to motorway ride

Good morning Motor Talk , I have a small problem : If I have driven my 1.0 Lupo ALL 200km motorway 120 – 130 km/h and then drive on a highway or into the village sometimes 2000 sometimes from 3000 rpm the engine starts to jerk strongly. Sometimes one is almost afraid that he runs out At the same time with the jerking spins also the speedo jumps from e.g. 60 to 20 km/h back and forth. I have just sat down a little bit but found nothing exactly where the problem is described is similar it is like here : http://www.polo6rfreunde.de/…/ I have already looked at Maderbisse or other “damages” at the ignition system to see nothing. Thank you for the help already, Lukas

  • agr valve exchange 400€???

Hey, my vw lupo is just standing in the workshop because he jerked and flashed the yellow engine control light. Öamtc then read out the board computer and then it would appear that the agr valve has to be replaced / cleaned. So I commissioned the workshop to clean agr valve or if necessary to change it. Today I am called, the agr valve is replaced = 200€ material + 200€ work… But he still does jerk. The gentleman from the workshop thinks that the ignition coil is short from a cylinder and therefore he is jerking. Is this a reasonable price for the agr valve? Does it seem quite expensive and wv. it will cost me or should it cost to change the ignition coil? Mfg. Jonathan lupo

  • Lupo with Sporadic problem immobilizer

Hey Lupo cracks, you need some advice! Have my brother the Lupo here since he was no longer mobile. He went out sporadically again and again. Sometimes right at the start, sometimes only after longer driving. Really dangerous even times on the highway. Well now I started at the cheapest time, ignition switch. Installation was not a problem. But now the curious, I just wanted to test if the switch works for a short time, for that I started it briefly without having the buyer’s coil of the immobilizer also only close to the ignition lock. And he ran and starts again and again and does not go out????? What’s going on there? That can and must not be! at the end of the white.
