  • Let the clutch change at the Lupo 3l or sell it?

    Good morning, I now have a Lupo 3l from 1999 with 250,000km on the clock and 30,000km of it have been since the purchase of me. At a traffic light suddenly the engine went off. First the engine turned down quickly and choked afterwards. He didn’t want to start any more, so the gear has to be taken out of the engine compartment by hand, because the shift lever didn’t want to move any more and the Lupo can be transported to the workshop. He can now start in neutral gear. The VW workshop meant the repair costs 800 euros for the clutch. 150 euros for the gearbox to be dismantled and to have certainty. On the hydraulics there would be no damage. Unfortunately there is no guarantee for the statement that the coupling is defective and the workshop is only quite sure. So whether the investment is still worthwhile, or whether the price is in the frame. What do you mean? Repair or sale?

  • Temperature sensor G346 f. Compressor shutdown Part no. ?

    Today was with the friendly, an experienced employee, who sought in vain the temperature sensor for the compressor shutdown in the PC ( ACTE ). Here for the TF for the manual climate in Lupo 1.0, MKB = AUC the part number was needed. There was nothing to be found in ACTE. In the circuit diagram – air conditioning system – No. 29/3 from 2003 under G346. Before 1999 it was the F38. Oddly enough, the climate man at VW in his workshop PC could find the TF immediately, with installation location, instructions etc. ( repair instructions ). Only he could not read out any part number. Who can tell me the part number of the temperature sensor G 346 for the shutdown of the climate compressor briefly ? Thank you in advance. Greeting Hans

    Hi @ all! I changed the rear Lambda probe at the CAT at our Lupo (engine 1.0 MPi, engine code AUC). The error memory was deleted afterwards. Since then I have the following error, which occurs only in the cold state: – after pressing the ignition key the engine starts immediately – engine starts up about 1 s and goes out immediately – after 2nd pressing the ignition key it jumps again (somewhat heavier) – and then runs easily to 1200 u/min. – and when it gets warmer the rotation ahl auf ca. 700 u/min. – the whole does not occur when the engine is warm The petrol pump runs as always briefly, after opening the door. Tubes I have checked all. Throttle flap cleaned from above. Where should I continue with the troubleshooting? Are there known causes? Thank you!

    I’m almost done with expanding. There is still the tank and the diesel lines forward. Shock absorbers and springs back. Axis remain in there he has to be able to roll. Antenna? Does it make sense to expand all this?

  • Wheel screws how much torque? important

    Hi how much torque do the wheel screws have with the Lupo 1.0 ?? there is yes the wheel screw diameter smaller as with the A3 for example would be very important! thank you

  • Lowering suspension 60/40 ??

    Hi… I have to lower my Lupo 1l. I am at ebay on a high-tech sports bike for 179,-€. The lowering is 60/40… now I have 2 questions: Can you buy the chassis (so not if you can, but if it’s worth it or if it’s bad =) ) and then I wanted to know if someone has experience with the lowering 60/40… is that too deep or does you get rid of the problem everywhere? I believe the 2nd or? I already say thank you for hopefully com Timbo
