Hi Lupo Founde I’ve already read almost everything in the forum about the Lupi3l of diseases! Only this problem that exists with me apparently nobody has. Have a Lupi 3l bj 2000 213,000km all service at VW I initially had the problem that he didn’t want to start again after putting it off no matter whether in e or in n always noticed all specifications door to brake kick etc. Then I set the clutch value and carried out the basic setting everything best ns kalppt, then I could drive again except that I could only start in N. But I already had the problem about 1 year. Since my hydraulic pump and my gear controller were oiled and you could not exactly see where it came from I was at the wash road and I radiated the gasket and the hypump. After that I drove about 2km and then I stopped to bring the engine to operating temperature because I wanted to see if the temp generator is defective. The temp generator is i .o Then I made the stage E in there he didn’t do it at first!Speed went up and he didn’t drive a meter in R exactly that same and over tip also nothing. Then I put again E in then he jerked 2 times as if he wanted to insert the gear but something prevented him from doing so. So I turned off the engine. Yes and then that was it,Then I switched on the ignition again and the gear indicator in the gear insert shows absolutely fahlsche gears. In P stands 5 that’s normal In R stands 5 In N stands 5 In E then it comes switch bar in the speedometer and it stands on N In the tippgasse it stands then at times 5 times 3 times 1 If it stands then I can not start then however also unfortunately. If I start the selector lever very slowly from E (choose lever position)tacho indicatorN)high slide it also airs over R only that are mm. Error code Gearbox:Ber for gear speed(G38) 03-00- no signal I checked all plug connections after humidity everything dry G38 I removed and d because giver held to metal no difference. Mistake remains firm and can be deleted ncitht. icht can help me because I am at the moment with my knowledge at the end. In the grunt setting he does not go in, I think because of the wrong gear selection. thank you.

VW Lupo 6x oil pressure control lamp, lights + beep
Hello dear forum, my beloved Lupo now makes problems after the winter.. I bought it in September last year with just under 99,000 km. I am a novice driver and have no plan of cars at all. I have already browsed through many forums myself, but I don’t get really smart. To my problems: 1. When starting, after a short rest, suddenly EPC started to light up briefly, engine short out, again everything good. To this day not again, that is now well 3 months ago. 2. 3x gi ng now the oil pressure lamp, after my friend said the first time it could simply be a sensor problem and failure, right turn on, engine off, engine on, light off (thought, well, if it were something, she would have gone on again.) The second time she only blinked, without beeps.. I was alone on the way, back right, etc… home the short piece, oil level checked so far so well in the middle of the track rod.. (oil looks not good anymore (see picture) In conversation with a Kol put the private itself a lot of tinkering on cars, it could also be the oil pressure pump that has a defect, or oil filters that are dirty, or oil sieves or only, the oil pressure rod.. Today the indicator light went on again, I looked in the engine and saw that there must be some engine oil out there, there to the right of the engine looks a place quite damp (see picture) What is that, where probably oil leaks out? I can unfortunately only next week in the workshop with my little flicker Je In winter, the lock broke down on the driver’s side, so I have to get on the passenger side. Otherwise, I can’t say so much about the car, whether it runs well or round. From the workshop it was already worth it with oil pump.. because I can probably only order via VW parts.. Is that true? I don’t need something like that? I also have to say, in winter I drove much shorter distances and in general much less, al the first 2-3 months.. I am in despair I love the little one but :’D

Motor temperature too high
Hello, some time ago I noticed that my Lupo ANV 1.0 50ps got warmer than usual. Actually it always keeps the temperature at 90° Now I’ve been on the highway for quite a long time and it was constantly at about 100-105° when I was stuck in the traffic jam it even went over 110° and the lamp went on. Coolant is still quite fresh and enough there. Water pump is not too old. Heating works. On the highway at little speed and low speeds go Somehow I have the feeling that the fan doesn’t work anymore. When should it turn on? When the temperature was at such 100° I opened the bonnet. The fan was off. How should I proceed to troubleshoot it?

Lupo 3L Problems with the clutch/gear
Moin, with my Lupo 3l I changed the coupling, outlay bearing with guide sleeve. In addition, I also renewed the transmission oil. All these works were done because I had the feeling that it was very difficult to switch down the gears and really switched at the last moment (short before going out). In addition, it did not start in stop, but only in neutral gear. The value of the pick-up cylinder was before changing the clutch to 1.4V, leaving sic h change, but the brake remained constant and did not change. Also before changing the coupling the error memory was read out the following error: 01435 Encoder 1 for brake pressure (electrical error in the circuit) 00813 Encoder 2 for brake pressure (electrical error in the circuit) 00812 Detachment switch for magnetic coil for brake pressure 00810 Encoder 1/2 for brake pressure (in the attachment the errors again as picture) All errors could not be deleted. Z In addition to the errors, the ESP lamp also lights up. ABS works. I don’t know if they can have anything to do with my problem. When it comes to relearning the clutch and later basic setting, the problems started. When I step on the brake pedal, I don’t reach the value of about 3,8-4V. My value increases to a maximum of 3.1V. Thus, the automatic pushes the gears massively in without the clutch, so that I can drive or carry out the gearbox basics. However, since I did not want to convert directly to switches, without even having been able to enjoy the Lupo 3l concept for a whole tank filling, I removed the pressure storage and the clutch sensor cylinder from a scrap yard car and installed them in mine again. Unfortunately, the problems still persisted. Now it can of course be that even this user cylinder doesn’t work properly, but it can also be 100 other S I’m finished with my Latin and I’m looking for your help. Hopefully you can help me so that I don’t have to tear out my Lupo 3l’s heart of technology.

How do I recognize defective cathedral bearings in the back?
Maybe I’m spoiled by my Mercedes w202 or my little one still has something. Feathers rather hard, in the curve in unevenness there is a rum, I can’t describe otherwise. Shock absorbers are new and I’m not sure if I’ve kept the 95 degrees exactly. Was only so feeling. At the cathedral bearings I couldn’t see anything, the metal sleeve is not firmly connected to the rubber or? Wouldn’t I get any other input springs and plates up and down as well as also Remake and look at the cathedral camp. Rejoice me on every suggestion. Lg Thomas

Heated crankshaft housings Ventilation
Hello As a new Lupo driver I have an (old-known) question At the beginning an apology. Even if some already “hangs out” the topic and one would like to refer me to the search, I have already done this, but as a technique layer did not find the right one and ask for your help I bought today a Lupo 1.0 Bj.11/99 with engine AVN. By researching the Internet I met today the topic of the “frost death” at 1.0. Since my car is not available I had to check the hose from the air filter down to the plastic box (oil separator?) with my hand. There is nothing in or on the hose that looks like heating. Question: Should the heater (cable) be in the hose and thus feel-able, or is it installed in the oil separator? Unfortunately, the seller (3rd hand) could not tell me about the status of the tube. Thank you very much for your answers. Greetings Eisenbiegeropa

Massive oil loss
My Lupo 2003 1.4 base lost massive oil 3 weeks ago, during the ride, after a frosty night. The oil lamp lit up and my daughter, as a driver, could still take the highway descent and drive to the gas station. There she noticed that the motoblock was full of oil. We then had the car towed and brought to a PIT-stop workshop. The engine block was cleaned, 3 liters of oil was refilled and the engine started. It is hard to believe The owner has no explanation and now I drive the car again. I have already driven about 200 KM and everything is tight. The outside temperature is in something like us in case of damage. At VW I had asked for a possible recall action, however, there were none. Who has an explanation for the oil loss. My daughter has to go back to work with the car from Tuesday and the work place is about 30 KM away and mainly highway. ch over every tip Detlef Benning

3 liters TDI Lupo or VW Polo TDI ???
Hello, I am new here in the forum and hope for your support. I am about to buy a new car. Since I drive about 33,000 km a year, I prefer a economical car. I have to choose between a 3 liter Lupo 14100 km (10979€) and a Polo 1.4 TDI 10800 km (11979€) with more extras (climate, central ver etc.). Can you help me further or reveal your experiences in this regard. Simple tips would also help me, as I simply do not decide Thank you very much.

Central locking by radio does not work
Hello, vehicle: Lupo 6X 1.4 16V, MKB AUA Model year 2001 Problem: The radio locking of the original (not retrofitted) ZV does not work. At no push of a button something happens, keys cannot be learned. All other functions of the comfort control unit work. Previously tested: -Measurement blocks in the comfort control unit—> voltages, door contact switches etc., FFB keys show as expected no reaction batteries in the original radio container exchanged (LED lights up at Keystroke) -new 433MHz wireless container tested—> could also not be learned -comfort control unit exchanged for a part number-like model from a Golf 4—> no change -plug/wire harness tested on the control unit—> nothing striking, looks io The AutoScan from VCDS with the “new” comfort control unit is attached. Unfortunately, it works as usual, except for the radio operation. When learning the keys I first reset the learning values of the Stg and then versuc After that the error entry 01179- key programming is wrong Now my guess is that I had an uncompatible new radio container for testing. I only paid attention to the design and frequency. Is there any more to consider or can someone tell me which radio container I need for my model? Thank you for your help.
