  • 35i-Leid – now we’re going !?!?

    Hi Leutz, say, there was also a point with your favorites, from which it went without with the repairs ?? I now have my 35i Bj’94 90PS GT (ABS) for almost a year, and so far, except for a defective sunroof engine, everything was paletti at the box – even once I went to Spain and back without any problems. Now since Christmas it starts to tick and I was already the fourth time in the workshop: – ABS sensor broken (160€) – carburettor flange seal torn (250€) – and ever Tits: Trouser tube (cracker) torn (260€) and now, after the box still roars and rattles, the workshop master thinks in my complaint that it is probably on/on the engine bearing(s), which is/are quite (engine is quite wuppering with load changes around). Now the exchange also costs again 120€ (for the front hydro bearing first time). Am I a money cut… ?? With so many repairs at once, somehow the fun at the passat ride passes, and I wonder if with the Kis OK, the car is standing outside at night, and the cold and humid winter has certainly been pretty bad for him so far, but with my 2 golf I had until it was about 13 for 3 years hardly any problems, only last year the repairs went up so high that I decided to sell… thought, with the passat it is now also good for a few years.   • Automatic jerks when switching – no kickdown anymore

    HELP !!! since yesterday my 35i 2.0l automatic BJ 91 has a problem: when switching, it jerks as if you let the clutch jump at a switch. also, the kickdown doesn’t work anymore. it also seems to me as if the 3rd gear is simply skipped out. otherwise, it drives great… someone can help me….

  • Front window freezes from the inside to

    Hallows, since last winter in Frost big problems with the inside frozen windshield of my variant (’92), therefore I put in a dehumidifier (ceresit) and in Frost covered the windshield nicely. Unfortunately helped. In December 03 I did an 8-hour tour and nicely heated. After that there were no major problems with the first minus degrees. However, I found out during carpet vacuuming that the floor is quite damp. Rubber mat –> Carpet protection (as standard?) –> Carpet is my order. Now the carpet at the front is re and li and the back is just quite damp. It doesn’t “smack” straight, but when driving over the carpet, the hand is already a little damp. In December I was still in the washing machine and did not notice any water entry from above. Does anyone know the situation? Can it be that the water comes in from below? How can leaks be detected?   • Passat TDI starts badly!

    Hello, suddenly I have a problem when starting: the car “will” start but immediately goes out again! Normal I start the engine without giving gas, now I have to give gas with it at all something happens (as if the engine does not get fuel), and it takes (at the start) hardly gas!
