Hello, I took over a PHAETON 3.0 diesel year 04/2012 at 26.770 km. At this km stand also a service with LongLife oil was carried out. Today, at km 36642 the message on the display appears that after 5100 km another service is due. Then the service interval would have been only 14.972 km. With the models before – same engineization – was always 30,000 km. Does anyone have an explanation? Thank you and many greetings Wollibär

I need help with cell phone at the 2005er
Moin I’ve Googled the whole morning and read the threads here in the MT and I’m not a bit further yet. I have this device in the middle armrest (see appendix). I would like to know what I need to be able to use it in the car. If I am currently pressing on my phone at the ZAB there is “Phone not available”. I’ve already read of the 6310i variant and the BLUETOOTH variant, but I didn’t get any further. Which shell do I need, which device and what do I have to do to make it work? It would be great if you could describe your variants or possibly post them with picture. Thanks already in advance Lg Hauke

Driving comfort/tires/problem
Hello dear community, I would like to ask a question. I drive a V 10 with Hankook VENTUS V12 EVO K110 235/50 R18 101Y XL , which I had on it a few weeks ago, before that were the Dunlop on it. Since I had an original set of aluminum rims from VW (there were some winter tyres on it) I had the Hankook mounted on it. At the beginning nothing was to be felt from the Phaeton glided, then I felt every floor shaft and Rille and it sometimes occurred to me as if I was driving over cobblestone pavers. I then “played” with the air draught and it was a bit better, but never quite gone. 2 weeks ago we went on holiday, suitcase aum full and see there, the whole ride to Lake Garda and back (2000 km) was as it should be, no bumping, or so. Now we are a few days back and the same again. Air pressure up and down probed, it only changes minimally. I get to go ahead but the question is clear from the way to go, but thanks to you?

Here we go again: The second Phaeton, my dealer and me!
It already announced itself in the repeat offender thread: I could not leave it and with a good year delay and a car in between I am back again. In May 2010 I left my 2006 Phaeton again. It finally became a quite well equipped (NP 124xxx,- BLP) in deep black pearl effect with brown leather and all the amenities that I had so on the wish list. The most difficult was not to find a Phaeton with good equipment, but a car with acceptable color combination. Black was now not my desired color, I would have preferred CairoGrey or SerpentinoGrey, but in view of the great interior colors and the extensions in wood and leather…. well,… if I sit in it, I don’t see the outer color. And then there were still the 20″-Megara… curse and blessing at the same time: optically a banger, but comfortable is different. In winter tyres I have then with the Michelin Alpin A5 with Dynamic in 18. And then there was no good combo car, but the same thing happened.

Comfort battery discharges while driving
VW Phaeton GP0 5.0 V10 Built 2005 201567Km Hello dear Phaeton driver, I have a little problem to which I have unfortunately not found something really helpful here, so I try to explain it. And I installed a USB socket in the glove compartment about two weeks ago. I connected it to the power supply from the CD changer. (No ignition plus) In retrospect this was probably a very bad idea. but since the installation I had already the problem that in the instrument cluster on the Volt display only about 12 volts, with running engine in the stand, were displayed to me. When giving gas or while driving it kept to 14 volts. meanwhile it is only unfortunately that I was sucked the battery completely to 0 volts at the distance of about 5 days. In the meantime it almost always kept to 14 volts and fell only sporadically to a maximum of 10 volts. In other words, everything turns off electronically and I only drive in the emergency run program if it falls below about 6 volts.. To describe the problem more precisely or to understand. Let’s go about the fact that both batteries are fully charged in the trunk. If I turn on the ignition now the instrument cluster 14 volts (in my case about 12.5 (too low…) are displayed. When I start the motor the voltage sometimes keeps itself for a few kilometers constant to 12.5 volts and f If I repeat this process, it always happens the same thing, so it can not actually lie on the alternator, because the starter battery is obviously still charged. When measuring directly on the battery, it also shows 13.5 volts. However, when measuring during the start-up, it falls to 9 volts. The parallel circuit also seems to work, because otherwise the comfort battery would not work. The comfort battery is also brand new and about 3 months old. I’ve already read it out with OBD Eleven. It shows 9 errors, which is no wonder when the battery is dead. I didn’t have a fault for my problem that could be responsible for it. I hope I could explain it to some extent intelligibly. I very much hope that anyone can help me, because in my vicinity the workshops are my trust is fully booked until after Easter and I can’t go on like this. Thank you in advance!

I don’t think there’s any heating going on?
Hello together, at the moment my stand heater no longer starts (Phaeton year 2007, V8). When it was colder the last weeks, it jumped on, but often went off after a few minutes. I thought it might be due to the battery. Now I wanted to try it again because the battery should have recovered. Now the stand heater is no longer working at all. Neither over the AC menu nor over the remote control (but it is still green). However, I can select the residual heat function. Battery voltage when ignition is active, the speedometer shows about 13. That was already less. Are the 13 still too little to start without a motor? Are the temperatures just so that the stand heater, when the engine is on, does not start, because meaningless? Would like to be informed before it goes to the workshop. Must be covered by the perfectCarPlus guarantee anyway, as I see. Best regards Johannes

Is there a V6 driver with the 280 hp engine?
Hello people, as already written elsewhere I have on Monday in the GMD an appointment for the purpose of “configuration damage”….. As diesel and scrap metal suspect (V8) I will probably, because there is no longer the fine W12 to the V6 grip. Does someone drive the V6 here or has experience with it? I would be interested in what it looks like with the running calmness, pull-through power and of course the fuel consumption. Will he probably be able to drive on Monday, but your experiences would still interest me. gruss pesbod

Hi there, I want to get an overview of the expected costs during the 3-year lease. (Brakes, wiper blades…?) (oil, spark plugs occur during inspections, or even outside) – Inspection: 1600 in 3 years – Repair insurance: 35/mnt What did I forget? Greetings take2
