In my opinion, the phaeton I’s production suspension will increasingly lead to purchase advice requests in the Phaeton Forum. I would like to merge them and therefore move future advice requests into this thread. Of course, it can and should also be referred to old Freds to my heart’s content and linked to them. Hello together, 3 days ago my Phaeton lost his seat posts in the memory again. I thought that you could put them on quickly again – but far missing …. Unfortunately, the driver’s seat does not go down as low as I would have liked. I once connected VCDS and thought that you could reset it – but I find nothing to do with it. In the errors is only regularly the temperature sensor … short circuit or mass problem. Hello, I know that there are hundreds of contributions to the tailgate here, but my problem they rather do not solve. Since my tailgate did not work correctly anymore (sprung out of the lock, but didn’t open), I went after the obvious solution, a defective wire harness. So everything was built apart and discovered some damage in the insulation as well as a completely defective cable. Test by then simply clamped together and deleted error memory. Problem persisted. See if I missed something and checked every single cable from the rear flap control unit into the flap for passage. All cables are (provisional) all right! Then read here that the control unit is sometimes responsible and you can “learn” the tailgate with VCDS (control unit 46, adaptation, channel 24, test, store). So this tried out. The tailgate drove up and down as described, but after that it completely acknowledged its service. Now it does nothing (it does nothing more If I do this procedure again, the tailgate will also be shown as open. The error is stored: “00317 – Control unit for tailgate – 005 No or incorrect basic setting or adaptation”. What do I do now, or how do I perform this basic setting/adaption? (- Cable harness heil – comfort battery fully charged – hydraulic works)
