    Hello together, I did it! After a long time of thinking, I hit and bought a Phaeton W12 built in 2003 from serious possession. First owner was VW AG. Everything in it is possible. Now I have a few questions that you might be able to help me with. 1: Can I retrofit for the RNS 510 Bluetooth? Had an A8 before, which was possible via an adapter without any problems. Does the electronics play with it? 2: Is there the possibility to cut the limit at 250 km/h? Is it possible to restore the analog TV reception and perhaps also play it via the rear seat entertainment? 4: The FB of the heater is not available.   • Vehicle won’t come up front!!

    Hello all together I recently got a year of construction 2006 Phaeton V6 tdi, has become my first VW and I really have to admit, no matter how much negative one hears about these vehicles, and how much with the electronics everything can go wrong and everything else, that is not a VW that is the stepbrother of the Bentley this width, interior space and comfort is simply fantastic! But so dreamlike a box packed with technology could not stay and therefore now to my own problem :/ I bought the vehicle with a defect spring leg right (according to seller) , therefore the car at the rear is quite normal but front to low, and therefore shows on the speedometer also in red: stop vehicle to low ! Now I have informed myself several days about it and learn that with the Phaeton who even one spring leg is defective the other side also automatically both go down , so the car then does not stand like with my old W220 s class wrong like a lowrider , That’s why I now had to buy in front of the right spring leg until yesterday ! Yesterday I got out with my father that the spring leg is not broken at all ! If you open the bonnet and the upper cover is removed where the spring leg screws are watching is a plug , we had just taken out both plugs and several seconds later again plugged in and suddenly the vehicle came up front ! I and my father then put us in front of the engine and the vehicle still came up, but when we turned off the engine we heard at the right side below an air noise so there is a leak, and in less than 1 minute true the vehicle at the front again low. My question to you: How could I proceed now? How could I best find the leak and where could this leak normally be? I am happy and thank you already for every answer.

  • Volkswagen Phaeton yes or no ?

    Hello dear forum, I signed up here because for some time now only this one is going through my head, the Volkswagen Phaeton. I have so far driven with a VW Passat 3b, 1.6er, BJ 1999, petroler, manual transmission and am all very well satisfied. That means for me, (that’s for sure) I will definitely get a VW again. Now probably all upper classes owners will mock me but I am of the opinion that the Phaeton is the best upper class . It doesn’t look like a troll and is still a status symbol. This simple exterior design and then this simple luxury in the interior, a dream. Now I have unfortunately not heard much good about the electrics and the processing… that’s why to my question: Is a VW Phaeton worth it ? If so which year of construction is the best ? Which engine, how much hp and what fuel (I don’t care for performance) ? Does the car often have to go to the workshop ? Are 15,000-20.000 € realistic for a well-preserved car of this class? And quite rough monthly cost estimate, is finished in one year with the training (public service). I hope I wrote it in the right forum and do not disturb anyone here.

    Hello, I fulfilled a dream 4-5 days ago and bought me the above car, with a used car dealer who has left a serious impression. I noticed today that the engine clatters or tickles, knocks, hard to assess. First it was sporadically, now actually permanent. If the engine is cold, I can hear nothing.   • Factory run in the Manufacture Dresden

    Hello VW Phaeton-Gemeinde, since Saturday I also have a VW Phaeton again. It would take about 600 KM to drive home in the worst weather conditions. But in a Phaeton you feel really comfortable despite storm gusts and permanent rains. A great car !!! But a small thing still concerns me. The VW dealer warned in his ad: “THE VEHICLE BEFITS I SELF VERSTNEVER IN A NEW VALUE TERMS, Premium Used Vehicle, Service Wag In the service booklet I read that the VW Phaeton had a service at the plant in Zwickau a year ago. Since that probably has not been moved any more. And now a week ago a second service received from the current car dealership. Is the service in Zwickau equivalent to the plant run in Dresden? The VW Phaeton 3.0 TDI is a 2013 model (EZ 11/2012) with 23,000 KM. The external condition is very good. The tyres are in good condition. The brake discs are not new either, but also very good from the condition. But I have heard here in the forum many times about the fact that tyres and brakes were renewed during a factory run, although this would not have been absolutely necessary from the condition. Therefore a second question: Will the tyres and brakes always be renewed during a factory run in Dresden? Thank you in advance for the answers !!!

  • Newbie in V8 business

    Would like to introduce myself briefly, since I have received many helpful advice through this forum and was certainly already protected from some cares. (Had registered me under the name Krizzzz, but found the name then not according to the standard) Since 21.12.07 I now also belong to the Phaeton driving Grinsemeiern. First I wanted a V6 then it has become a V8. I regret the decision not a second, the sound is a dream. It is a Tarantella Schwarzer with Crystal grey leather. He was standing right here in Darmstadt at the VW dealer and I hope the decision was right. But that will only show up in the future. First a gas conversion is booked for January. he should still get nice rims and that was it.

    Did you notice the variation of the otherwise stolen topic? I found the contributions about the ALVDP (Automobile Life before the Phaeton) so interesting that now it can and should be revealed, what probably the ALFP will look like. So courageously ahead: If car and service do not crash, it will remain with a fat guy in 32 months! Otherwise I would return to Mercedes repentantly, but only with longer or connection guarantee.
