  • An accumulation of problems at once. Who knows the error(s)?

    It’s about the following: The car (3.0 tdi, year 2006, 200,000km) goes to normal (key + keyless go), then directly the following error messages come: Error suspension workshop brakes Stop errors Error exhaust workshop Add to this: ABS light lights ESP light lights exhaust light lights ” (!) ” Light people The power steering is no longer running The part of the speed display unit no longer running The tank indicator is fluctuating up and down. The selector lever remains i n “P” Put position Otherwise, the car drives normally, except that the servo does not steer along and that the chassis drives at the hardest level, due to the error message. In addition, a tyre had to be changed and thus the chassis (car lift mode was not possible, because of the error messages) is bagged off after the tyre change and also no longer comes up. Read out via VCDS shows all possible errors, but does not let us in any further, the S expensive devices don’t seem to answer. We assumed that there must be a voltage problem… Batteries exchanged, mass checked – everything unchanged. Various ECUs exchanged – everything unchanged. Are with our Latin at the end and also find here in the forum nothing to this accumulation of errors. I hope that there is someone who has already got through this scenario and knows a solution approach.   • Buying an accident car?

    Moin people. I’m not sure if I should post in the purchase consultation thread, so I’d rather open a new topic first. My question: would you buy a vehicle with repaired accident damage? The following facts: I am interested in a Pheaton, who ran about 200tkm and has his EZ at the end of 2011. The car has a quite good equipment and is full of check booklet. The current holder (2.) has been in 3 years and about 100tkm. g was moved by both holders rather normally for long distances. Here it is stated as accident-free. On demand with the friendly one I was informed that the vehicle had apparently had a side damage at a mileage of 7tkm, because among other things rear side part and doors on one side were replaced. On the other hand the then holder, thus apparently the 1st, was very sensitive, because probably very many (small) parts were replaced, among other things all 4 air dampers. . Now I’m torn back and forth… Apparently good care, against it stands a repaired accident damage, which is however already a bit ago and (perhaps out of ignorance) is sold as accident-free. What are your opinions about it?

  • Continuous current on 12V socket

    Hello, the power supply at the 12V sockets is also off after switching off the ignition, or shuts down after some time (feels 10-20min). Can you change this so that continuous current is there? It is a GP3 greetings

  • Sealing in the eighth year

    Dear people! And photos after the first ride would have already pictured too much pollen on the paint – really now. This is a “soft ceramic seal”, so not the “hard/real”. Why only the ? Because I’m not yet sure whether a 9H ceramic seal is nonsense if the aluminium oxide what do you mean? I’m only driving back and forth in the garage for a few weeks now, …. :-)) What do you mean?   • New addition Phaeton and a few questions

    Hello everyone! I bought my first Phaeton today and a few questions/problems about it. The vehicle is from 06/2010 3.0 TDI 4 Motion and we first come to the problems. Rear lights don’t seem to go any more. In the purchase contract sellers sent in within ten days new ones. Air conditioning does not cool, but air conditioning compressor is functional. Think there is simply no refrigerant. Seat ventilation driver seat without function workaround ha b i already seen here, but puh if the effort is worth it, I can not estimate. Vehicle was read out on site completely with VCDs – errors were only caused by undervoltage, since the car was really standing for quite a while. Now to the questions: Verbaut is a RNA 810 without Dynaudio. Bluetooth is displayed to me but somehow there is no way to connect mobile phone or the like. Do I need an adapter? Especially theme sound. Would like a DSP with sub for spare wheel dump after There’s something to recommend? How do I know which version is running on the Navi? Is there something else that is halfway up-to-date? Or better build up other radios? Currently there are 18 inches with all-weather on it. But would like to have 20 inches for the summer. Is there something original from VW? Thank you already in advance and sorry for the many questions. Is my first Phaeton and today as said first fetched.

  • Heating / comfort battery

    Hello municipality, my heater no longer starts in the stand. It starts on ignition. Also my mobile phone does not charge properly and when watching TV the system shuts down after about 5 minutes. Therefore, my assumption that either the comfort battery is flat or it is not charged properly. The vehicle was moved permanently all year round and also only on track. Therefore, m.E. eliminates a “operational error”. I also have a loud klac for some time after the start. ken from the trunk – but the service manager said: “Stand der Technik”. Therefore my questions: – Where is the comfort battery actually sitting exactly in the trunk? – Can one test it with simple means – on condition, charging activity etc.? – Can I just have a “normal” battery installed? Since the box goes back in April in leasing, I don’t really see how to install an original battery. Which type (specifications) is it exactly? It is a 3D V6 Diesel, Bj 2010. – Can the clapping of the switching relay be causal? Maybe it won’t load it anymore or just sporadically. Does anyone know the clapping as a symptom?

  • Interior Phaeton – Touareg

    Hello together, my first post here in the forum, although I have already been reading for some time. I am currently driving a 2007 threg and would like to get a phaeton. Reason: The knee clearance in threg is quite scarce for the older son. Is the interior in the phaeton, as you always read, really so large that even larger people can mutilate themselves in the back? I am 192cm and have the seat from house always at the back. Say: I did not want to limp in threg. r me sit 😉 The technical data of both vehicles only make a minimal difference. Unfortunately, there is no Phaeton available for the test drive here near me, so I ask you. Maybe one or the other experience with a Treg + Phaeton.   • Noise when starting with cold engine – Plop/Knack Noise

    Hello together I have to park out after cold start and backwards and then switch to D and get there shortly afterwards a “dumpy plop / crack” sound and felt coming from the rear right or yet the gearbox? After that it is no longer there – it comes only once after arrival and felt only with cold engine. I could not find anything further here in the forum. Had it tried to record as sound but that is not heard – try to record it as sound otherwise and here m Al to post. Standing my parked P does with gradients, say in front higher and backward gradients. From the yard I come with a short reverse drive. Attenuation stands on normal, but basically no matter which position this plop/knack noise is always there. If I had then driven a few hundred meters and stood e.g. at the next traffic light and then hit again it is no longer there. Does anyone know maybe this noise and could tell me what it could be?   • Repairs undercarriage

    Servus to all, My last visit to the workshop was rather by chance but unpleasant. Actually I wanted to have new rims raised and then after evaluation of the inside of the front tire (highly driven off) some things came to light. So now all the crossbars, track bar, stabilizer, are due on the front axle. I thought so already, because I had a strong jerking again when braking (new discs before 3000 km) and the thickness rather arg spongy w Is this just money making to sell me the same parts more expensive? Here is good advice expensive, so my post office. Car is 3.0 tdi from 2011 CEXA Motor, en r gute now has a proud 277 tsd down. Long distance Thanks in advance for your input.

  • Automatic headrests back – deactivable???

    An evening together, with my long boat, the rear headrests run up automatically as soon as the seat is loaded. That bothers me immensely when, for example, there is a bag in the back seat and the headrest in every curve drives wildly up and down. Moreover, almost every of my fond passengers puts the headrest down again because it is too high. Can one deactivate this terrible function somehow??? Greetings Matthias p.s. By the way, I find it wonderful that the seat occupancy certificate ng belt straps and airbags are deactivated and the headrest turns up and down, but not a forgotten seat heater is deactivated. Wasn’t thought to end here?
