Hello dear community, I drive a 2004 V8. Since the last temperature fall I realize that the heating power of my thickness is no longer the one I am used to. When the automatic is switched on it no longer heats at all and with manuel only very weak at the lowest fan level. If I turn the fan upwards only cold air comes up. It also does not change if I correct the temperature upwards. Does any of you have an idea of what this can be? Thanks for the Help Krocko

V8: Starter turns, but engine does not start
Dear people With my V8 built in 2003, I have already experienced a lot. But the latest behavior also makes my friendly headbreak. If you want to start the Phaeton, the starter turns, but the engine doesn’t start. With the emergency start it doesn’t work either, although I tested both batteries and have more than 80% starting ability. I changed the candles before 15’000 kilometers in December 2011. As first time I had the problem during the holidays and the TCS could bring the vehicle back to life by completely pushing the accelerator pedal through at the start. AGM battery lifting – Help & advice wanted, Leipzig area
Today I wanted to replace my AGM battery. The preparation worked excellent thanks to the instructions of “Hoellenqualen” from 2013. The way was clear, all cables sufficiently laid aside. However, I got the battery only about 5cm raised, afterwards something stuck somewhere towards the rear light. I could not locate what and where it was. After 1h shake, dodge and always lift and lower again I gave up. I built everything together again to see which error messages would come and d a small round to turn. Result: outside of the clock nothing came. Windows, steering learned and clock set. Even the day kilometer counter was still up to date. As I said, I only look for someone who has made the exchange schionmal and with advice how I turn the battery and have to turn to the side of the site. Electrical / cable works everything, I have now already 1x built out and again.

Ventilation/climate stinks after switching to ECON
Hello, Last summer I had my air conditioning replenished. Now for some time the ventilation stinks extremely when I turn on the air conditioning and then switch to ECON. 🙁 left ventilation cover remains open
the left (driver) wood cover for the ventilation remains open. until now it has done this only once or twice, but after manual operation on the climate control unit or ignition on /off closed again. when the others with manual operation close / open is from the left 4 times very quiet a ppz…, ppppz…, ppz…, ppz…, ppz… to hear. so obviously comes current. also the air distribution closes and opens i.o. – is the panel diagnostic? Bluetooth in GP3 or how do I get music on my RNA?
Hello dear people, since the day before yesterday I finally have my GP3 and feel at home. Really a thoroughly great car, but one thing makes me really crazy and that’s the connection of my mobile phone. Vehicle is an MJ2012 GP with RNS810 but unfortunately no media-in interface. With my previous vehicles I have always connected the phone (Huawei P9) via Bluetooth and then heard it via Spotify. In the Touareg with RNS850 and i m Beetle with RNS510 is both absolutely no problem. Titles are displayed in the display and also skip titles is possible via the Mufu steering wheel and directly on the RNA. Unfortunately, all this does not work at all with the Phaeton now. If I select the mobile phone via the MFA couple and then still as a media player I can play music, but in the display of the RNA only “BluetoothAudio” stands. A control over the RNA or the Mufu steering wheel is not possible. That is already stupid, starting from now it’s going to be stupid! If I listen to music via the SD card now and then get a message via Whats app, the RNA jumps to Bluetooth audio and then stays there. I have to manually switch back to SD every time. In the meantime, I have “resolved” the connection of the media player again. Nevertheless, the RNA jumps to Bluetooth for every message. Switching to “only phone” in the settings didn’t help either. Is that the same with you? RNS Software update? Upgrade media-in interface and connect an iPod Touch with Spotify and insert a second-sim-card into the Nokia 6303 that was part of the Phaeton? RNS 810 always takes a long time to start.
hello together… is this a feature or a bug? sometimes my RNA is up and ready for use right after the start of the engine. but mostly, even after only a short parking, it takes forever until it is up. that’s annoying just when I want to park out, but can’t access the rear camera. what’s the cause? and are there solutions? also the steering wheel sometimes loses its adjustment out of the blue. time and again I’m on the trail. stand the tec hnik??? the automatic air turns off often idiosyncratic… is my phaeton a fun bird?
