  • ACC Problem: “no distance control”

    Hello everyone, my fresh-from-dealer 1% Leasing Phaeton (GP4 year 8/2014 – what a lot of car for so little money!) accepted the ACC only reluctantly on his first ride on Friday. The vehicle driving ahead was only difficult to recognize, and if so, the ACC system turned off again after a few seconds. Over the weekend I then searched through the manual and the Internet and drove good things this morning the 50km to the office. But the ACC couldn’t be at all turn on first, there was always the message “no distance control”. So the detection of a driving car already did not work. Tempomat, however, works quite normal. I then evaded at rest place, engine off and on again. Then immediately continued and ACC switched on. Forward driving car was immediately detected (Aaaah….!), the ACC kicked me out again after a few seconds (Ooooh….!) and for the rest of the journey it quit the further ACC trials m it the message “no distance control”. Does anyone have an idea? To the dealer is not my first choice, is far away and maybe I also do something wrong? When does this message come?   • New summer tyres: Increased load index vs. comfort and handling

    Hello together, I need new summer tyres for my Phaeton 3.0 V6 TDI 4Motion for spring. My car (and as far as I know all Phaetons with 17 rims) were delivered by VW with Dunlop SportMaxx TT. Since they did their job with me quite ok, I would like to stay with Dunlop, even if the SportMaxx TT rolls off a bit harder and louder than the WinterSport 3D in winter. I need the size 235/55 ZR17 99Y. In this bigger one there is only the SportMaxx TT. D In the meantime, it is relatively old. More modern (and better?) alternative would perhaps be the more current SportMaxx RT2. But this is only available as XL with load capacity 103 instead of 99. What do you think, worsened by the not needed harder flanks comfort or driving behavior? Which tire would you take? Greetings and thanks in advance

    Hello, my xenon headlights (GP0, BJ2006, 3.0 TDI) flickered every now and then. Once (a few months ago) it seemed to me that they had only been handled correctly after a few seconds. For weeks, however, I had no problems anymore. Today, the following message came during the ride:Checking the lighting. As soon as the dipped-beam is switched off, the message goes away. When I turn it on again, the message comes back. But I can’t detect any error.     Hello, I come from Austria and in three weeks proud owner of a Phaeton gp4 with rns810 and premium hands-free function with SIM cards slot. I got a SIM card of three and entered the ap. The WLAN hotspot works perfectly, so come to the Internet. If I specify the data for the Navi on rns, he selects himself, but at the server stands then first “no connection” and after a few minutes “routing error”. Someone knows the problem and can help n?   • Gear immersing defective for 8 euros

    I’ve been driving Phaeton for 8 years, the first I had was a V6 3.2 except for small things never had problems with the thick ship. For 4 years I’ve been driving a V10 TDI with KM at the time 197,000KM to date never had a problem although I drove 100,000 KM in 4 years. Until 3 weeks ago….. It started with smoke in the ventilation when I drove off the highway, but I didn’t think anything about it until 2 weeks ago unsightly oil tracks appeared in my garage. thanks engine oil, but on stage it quickly became clear it was gear oil which dripped out of the bore at the gearbox… So after the friendly around the corner which didn’t sound friendly then. Costs up to 3000 euros, actually with the price loss of the V10 TDI his death sentence. I would now be interested whether one of the one V10 TDI has the same problem or had it. Cann’t be that a part of 8.00 Euro carries a rep of up to 3000 Euro.

    Hello community, now I am unintentionally divorced from my companion. Our relationship lasted quite exactly 7 years and meant relaxed, shared journeys. It could have gone on forever just after I had all the brakes and the front axle made in winter. An Axxx driver was not comfortable with this commonality.   • Cairogrey with sun beige: Is that possible?

    Hello Phaeton driver, after long pondering and many test drives with various vehicles I ordered a Phaeton 3.0TDI last week. Delivery date is supposed to be KW 10/08. Actually I wanted to order the vehicle in Tarantellablack, but my better half absolutely wanted Cairogrey with sunbeer interior equipment. Now I tried to get some meaningful photos with this color, but except for the pictures on the VW website I have nothing useful even longer googling didn’t bring anything new to light. Can someone help me here with photos that show the vehicle and the interior equipment? Maybe someone also knows if there is such a vehicle somewhere in the Hamburg area.     Hello everyone! I have a problem with my Phateon 3.0l v6 diesel first registration in 2006. And this problem came at once where my vehicle stood times 5-6 days I wanted to unlock as usual and start driving… but the opening at the door handle did not work, by radio either, the alarm lights on doors (red) do not flash! With key opened in the lock ignition on car starts immediately and then error messages like ” repair shop – nivouereglung… after 2-3 minutes is everything away again but since every time you park from the car after about 1 hour always the same problem!   • Phaeton 3.2 FSI when accelerating trembling

    Greetings My 3.2 fsi (front) 5 gear tiptronic has the following problem It’s not always; mostly rather sporadically. If I give gas (also mostly with medium to strong gas) I notice how there is a trembling at the front in the acceleration. My 5 gear tiptronic has already got a new converter before 70k km. I have changed gear oil fresh incl. flushing, so transmission would exclude, it also switches absolutely clean. What else could it be? Drive shafts I have checked If you have any ideas or experiences, it is also difficult to describe it, it is a mixture of stuttering and tumbling. I have a gas system, but this is both in gas operation and gasoline. So the gas system should not be the problem either. When reading out, nothing came out especially now, only level sensor at the front obviously defective. One thing I have to say also bothers me, when I give gas I hear always what howl, but only give at the gas (whether much or little) and when he rolls cars it is gone. Wheel bearings?
