Hello, in the new “AUTO Zeitung” there are information about the new Phaeton II.http://www.autozeitung.de/online/render.php?render=7451 The new Phaeton is supposed to become more dynamic, but also a little smaller than before. About 5 metres in length. The car should be located between the Audi A6 and Audi A8. The earliest start should be about 2010, it is almost certain that it will come. Some components of Audi should be taken over, e.g. the engine range (it could be that even the V12 TDI comes, who knows…). A photo montage of the new Phaeton is also included, but it is of course in the stars whether it will appear like that… Greetings Peter

If the repair exceeds the vehicle value..
It’s probably somewhere in the forum, but the right search term is going to make me do it, so here’s a direct one: My 2003 V10TDI now has 190.000km down and the friendly one now said that the engine has so much oil leaks, that you should shoot the car better. I still get a detailed list, but it’s about oily turbos (they’re probably swimming in it), leaky oil pump/tandem pump and valve cover. Everything together certainly more than 800€. My idea would be either to pay in for a new purchase of a mainstream car or to try selling via internet platform indicating the known problems for 4000€ VHB. Is there another option like for example used parts dealer and what would be expected there? Thank you for your help with “disposing” my diva, I’ll miss it. Snever…

OffTopic: What’s completely car-crazy
Here’s something completely car-crazy! http://forum.clube31.de/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=309 clicks on the link to the “alpina mouse” , he doesn’t want to link directly to it. Homepage Who of you pulls the same with the Phaeton ? Unbelievable… if you know what such a B12 precision is worth… I say from the investor’s point of view probably the extremely best money investment … And you pay attention to the videos, finally the “kerl” creates more space, so that he can really start collecting… Can someone tell me the lottery numbers of next Saturday ? greet dsu

Experience / problems with the DPF at the 3.0 TDI?
Hello, I know from the VW Golf the problems with the diesel particulate filter, especially with many short distances – these clog up and then have to be burned free by a workshop or the car should be moved from time to time on the highway (if you are lucky enough the latter). Question: Are there such problems with the VW PHAETON 3.0 TDI too? Who has experiences? Many greetings and thanks in advance Daniel Click

Phaeton W12 purchase advice
Hello, I have just bought a Phaeton W12, Bj, 05.2003, 123Tkm, black NP over 130000 € at Ebay. I work in the VW-Audi car dealership, but a Phaeton comes to the workshop max 2-3 a year. I will first take a closer look at the Phaeton on Tuesday. I bring testers and masters with me, but please here for your help what I have to pay attention to during the visit. Is there “diseases”, errors, irregularities etc… I have paid 16000 €, is the price OK??? I know, you should be familiar with the purchase of a Phaeton, but it was really a Spontankauf in the last second. I thank you in advance for the information. Doman

Now it’s my turn…
Hello together, yesterday I got the certainty (at 8 years and 220 tkm): * The STG of both loaders are defective (report overpressure every now and then with the result of the engine emergency run, although there is no overpressure) * Both AGR valves defective * middle bearings of the cardan shaft knocked out * metal ring of the climate compressor beats (I knew already) For the first three points I was estimated 7,000 EUR. Unfortunately I could not find any more about the search, therefore my question: What should be done with the open heart then everything prophylactically? Thank you in advance and best regards, Alexander

Tick noise in the rear area
Hello, I’m new, since August 1%-leasing driver,3D, 240hp BJ 02/09, 75000Km and I’m not a mechanic myself, don’t understand much of the car either. I’m completely satisfied but now where it’s cold, I have a ticking noise at the back left. This ticking noise is about like an old mechanical alarm clock that ticks too loud. always at the same intervals. Was at friendly, which probably didn’t often have to do with the Phaeton but he is the only VW dealer in the place. First he said, it’s probably the magnetic switch for diesel supply and after the examination he said, it’s the heat supply for the diesel engine, which is activated only in the minus degree so that the engine has enough heat, since the diesel engine does not produce enough heat accordingly in the winter. This noise is so loud that you can even hear in the vehicle at closed doors, of course only in the stand. Does anyone have similar experience? Can this be normal? Have Audi A6, even diesel driven and I don’t know that.

Buy Phaeton or not?
hello dear phaeton community. I have the choice of a mercedes clk cabrio and a phaeton. now my question about the phaeton: the car has run around the 90,000km is a 3.2 V6 (fuel) and BJ 3.03 price is about 13,000 euro. condition 4 seats massage seats navi naja so stop phaeton don’t know what there was so much extras and what there is series. is the 4 seats actually equal to the longer one? or does that have nothing to do with it? my question is actually the 90,000 km already too much? what’s going on there so kaput? I’m looking for a reliable car and have no desire to always allow anything. and what do you think the phaton should have as a statement?

Experience with the return of your 1% leasing vehicle
Hello, after reading many reports on the 1% leasing (now 1.15%), the question arises for me about the behavior of VW in the return of the vehicle. What experiences did you have? Was VW also fair if you have not leased/purchased a new VW? Thank you for the reports of your experiences.
