Hello, I have recently had a Phaeton 3.0 TDI GP3 from 2012 with approx. 120tkm of mileage and read here for a while. I noticed that my Phaeton is quite hard in the height adjustment “Normal” and chassis on “Comfort”. Furthermore, the bumper touches almost the ground even at a low kerb (see photo). Therefore today times measured: Come at around 370mm height from center wheel hub to wheelhouse edge. If I have researched correctly, that’s about 30mm too little. Nter the car has revealed an adjustable pole of the height sensors. So it is deliberately animal-fed by the previous owner. VCDS shows a height deviation in front of -3.0mm in the MWB. I bought the car for comfort reasons and am a friend of originality, so I want to reset everything like series. In the parts catalog I found the sensors only completely with poles and would now reluctantly exchange all sensors for just under 600€. Is there somewhere a source where only the Gest For setting with VCDS I would proceed as follows: – ECU address 34 – Access key 31564 – Adaption/Customization select – Channel 01: 407mm enter – Channel 02: 407mm enter – Channel 03: 401mm enter – Channel 04: 401mm enter – Channel 05: 1 enter to confirm During the procedure the engine is running and all doors are closed. –> Forget something? Dimensions Phaeton
Good evening people, everywhere I read that the Phaeton (short) has a length of approx. 5.05 meters, only in my BA is 5.15m. That it will not be a print error, shows the fact that the long version is actually indicated at 5.27m, where I read everywhere else 5.17m. I don’t have an adequate measuring tape at hand. Does anyone know what is right now? Does everyone, only VW itself not know? Many greetings

Retrofit monitors for rear head restraints
Hello, I have read a few posts in the forum so far, but these posts have not been able to answer my questions so far. Maybe someone can help me? I have a GP3, as a long version + 5 seater, with TV function and superimposed screens for the headrests to retrofit. What retrofit solutions are there that fit as harmoniously as possible into the Phaeton design image? – Headrest monitors – Mounting monitors Is there a solution that can display both the TV image while driving (if a TV release would be installed) as well as DVDs? Error suspension workshop -> Level control disabled
Hi, yesterday I switched off my car without any problems – today I wanted to go off when after about 1 km loud metallic scratching noises came from the front left wheel box. So back and car changed. When I came back, I picked up the Phaeton with car lifter mode, the wheel was unscrewed – brake caliper and disc had to loose until the stone between the brake disc and the protective plate behind it fell out. Everything was assembled again, I had to realize that the car goes so deep that I can’t get the car lifter out. With the help of a 2nd car lifter I have the then also recovered … but the Phaeton lies at the front left deep. In the display comes the message “Failor chassis workshop”. He no longer pumps up. Now fix with VCDS and delete errors – it is a fact in the control unit 34 (Niveauregulation) the error “Regulation off” inside. Problem: it cannot be cleared! The compressor in the rear says no sound. How can I solve the problem?

Warranty extension.. Au Backe…
Good morning, I’ve been in the P Club for almost 11 months now and enjoy every meter that I pull off with my living room on our streets. My 3.0TDI is from 12/11 and the mileage is now at 78000. Of course I bought the car with the VW warranty and used it once as a charging air cooler has acknowledged the service. Otherwise I had some cosmetics run and various maintenance work done (brakes, air conditioning re-filled and cleaned, ….). Now yesterday came the writing of the VW insurance, for which I have already been waiting. They offer me generously the extension for another year……. I expected that I would not get these, but under the line were sharply calculed 2,086€!!!!!! Since I once fell over well cared for and have dreamed of the night almost of insurance birds…. lol. Now my question to the community…. What have you made of experiences with the amounts? It really comes to me high. Nevertheless, I am inclined to pay this blood duty, because you can cause an economic damage to your electric gear.

Steering column no longer goes up or down, just in and out.
Hello, I have the problem at my Phaeton that the steering column can no longer be set up and down. In and out still goes. Unfortunately, the steering wheel is quite high up and with in a very unfavourable position. I picked up that it can be connected with the memory seats and the coding. I have access to VCDS, but am only superficially familiar with it. Would I be happy if someone had a tip or even a solution.

phaeton in the drift ?
Hello, can you move the Phaton with 4motion in the drift ? what role does the ESP play with it. is a nice drift with esp at all possible ? MFG PS. sure many here consider such a driving way basically or only with a phaeton as absurd. clear – this opinion is unheard of to you but please don’t comment on it.

Water drain Sliding roof
Hello together, I followed the advice today and checked the water drains on my car, I noticed that the left front hole on the sliding roof does not allow water. Now I have read you should try it with compressed air, but wanted to secure me here again and ask if there can’t burst anything in the A pillar or something, not that my drains because I want to get the drain free. Another question, I have read that if the car is drunk, one should pull a plug under the car so that the water can run off, why not just leave the plug outside ?? Greeting

V8 loses coolant
My fatster has been permanently losing coolant since last year. I drive the rare BGJ V8. Unfortunately, nobody including me finds the leak. If I have warmed the box and then put it off, it drips at the front of the noise damping from the vents. The loss leads to the fact that I have to tilt half a litre every 4 weeks. It is not visible after disassembly of all the panels from above and below. The engine block and all the coolant lines are dry. Water pump also checked through the friendly. This has everything pulled out – nothing found (the car has been there twice!). It also does not smoke out white, so head seal OK. As well as because the coolant is under the car I have even turned the box on stage for 10 minutes at 5000 tours and two friends have illuminated everything under the car. The leak is undetectable! Even the balancing container around the lid is not wet. The heating works perfectly. You can find absolutely GAR NOTS that which is added to the loss of coolant or something else could happen to the problem.

Hello together, after ordering my Phaeton last year in March, I got 3x the magazine “scriptmanufaktura” sent, the last was the Christmas edition at the end of last year. Since then nothing more. Do you get this sent yet, ends the free subscription after three issues or does the magazine not exist anymore?
