  • Defected pushbutton for assistance systems + microswitch boot lock

    Hello, I drive a long wheelbase 3.0 TDI 4 seater Bj 2009 Since the latest, I have broken the display, button for assistance systems, everything works except the dead angle warner in the mirrors. What can be broken? My 2nd problem is the trunk lock, since I have already built everything apart and checked it incl. wire harness it can only be the micro switch.     Hello guys, does someone know if the OBD can is due to continuous voltage after ignition? I would like to send a Bluetooth dongle data to my phone. The dongle should always remain in the OBD can.   • Engine Problems

  • Phaeton W12 Gear damage – removal possible without engine?

    Hello, I have been the owner of a VW Phaeton W12 with the newer 450hp machine for a few days now. The car was quite cheap but has a transmission damage, which is expressed in that from 4000U/min no more power transmission takes place and it as soon as one leaves the car terribly clattered. The car was actually intended as part carrier for my A8 4E W12, but I do not bring it on the basis of the condition and would like to prepare it. At the A8 I had the transmission The Phaeton doesn’t seem to have a 6HP26, but a 5HP24. In addition, I have read something about an unreachable screw on the top of the gearbox at the Phaeton, so the engine has to come out with it.   • Does the use of the “Premium” mobile phone preparation via rSAP still have advantages today?

    Hello, my new phone (Pixel 7 Pro) seems to support rSAP. At least the coupling process is different and on the display of the mobile phone a message appears that the SIM card of “VW Phone” is used. After coupling is also in the Tachodisplay “Premium” and the SIM card (I have two in the phone) shows no connection on the mobile phone. In my understanding the function uses the antenna of the Phaeton – which means better reception. No 4G/5G, which is why the functionality is very limited. In the (partly very old) posts I found, I read that the Google Maps function only works via rSAP. However, this is now set. I was surprised that I still got notifications on the mobile phone and am also still “online”. It is impossible that this traffic runs over the second SIM card. Now my questions: 1.) Do I have a thinking error or is it correct that the data connection despite a ktivierten rSAP on mobile phone continues to work? 2.) Is there any reliable reason in 2022 to connect via rSAP? If this is limited to the external antenna, the function is counted anyway because GSM shutdown. Thank you!
