Hello Phaeton Forum, I picked up my new Phaeton today! My name is Oliver, I am 41 and have been living in Switzerland for 7 years. To the vehicle : Ezl. 10.09, 3.0 TDI, with my desired equipment. Now the hard drive does not work! I can’t save any music from the CD on it. How does it work with VW? At my BMW I was asked directly if I want to save the CD to hard drive? -In addition, the Navi does not play DVD’s! Can this be at the old software level? -Third, I can’t pair my phone, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, can this be solved by a software update? -And finally, the Navisoftware is V5, can I update it directly to the latest V13? V10 turbocharger defective again?
Hello nice day you all together my father bought almost 2 years ago a Phaeton v10 with just under 180tkm never had problems with or otherwise what now at 348000 km turbocharger damage (were still the first turbos) 2 overhauled turbos bought while doing small things like exhaust-curved wheel bearing fuel pump xenon etc. everything changed 2 days ago the car has been picked up so far everything top like a new car pulls much better than before and speaks much better on the gas in the last 2 days 1800 km drive earlier I wanted to buy something and notice when speeding up that he suddenly has no turbo pressure anymore (when he had the turbocharger damage I drove still almost 500 km so and know the feeling as it is without turbos) car off and made again well hardly any more gas again than if he would go in emergency run? I just registered today but have been following the forum a little longer and have read a lot because I found cars very interesting but have found the new ones so far?

Hello forum well one less is not right, the Phaeton changes its owner. I was the captain of a very nice 3.0 TDI (EZ 01/2011) in the period from 01.06.2015 to 15.08.2017. Also I was and still am enthusiastic about the Phaeton (comfort, suspension, understatement, ….) but also with me starts the electrification in the near future. For this reason now a Phaeton drives more in and around Saarbrücken. Conclusion after 2 years Phaeton: Criticism: rust on the door top edges at a Fzg. Age of only 4 years (was improved when buying from the dealer) bad luck: Re. and Li. Rear lights (which in the trunk flap) went broken short behind each other and the original spare parts are extremely expensive (where you could only exchange a lamp earlier) I wish you all much joy with your Phaeton and that there will soon be a big meeting again. Hey guys, supposedly, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge supports the RSAP protocol to pair to the hands-free device. Does any of you have the S6 edge in use and can confirm that it works easily on the ZAB of the GP0 via RSAP?

I’ve been driving my Phaeton for 5 years now and since then have had all inspections made at the VW dealer, where I had bought the car at the time with 70,000 km. Up to problems with the exhaust side (including turbocharger) there was nothing to complain about the car. I have in the meanwhile almost 55 years, in which I drive cars never had a better car. Now to my problem: For a few weeks I notice that the engine before traffic lights sometimes threatens to “swallow “. ( I’m not sure, but I mean that this phenomenon especially occurs when it is very hot). Now stands the 240,000 he inspection and I have checked times. During the pre-last inspection the transmission oil was checked. I also can’t discover that the air conditioning would have been checked times – should you not fill those at regular intervals again? Hello dear forum, about a year ago I bought my Phaeton V8. I am very satisfied with it, but with increasing age the probability of defects on the vehicle grows. Therefore I looked for a guarantee that I can make for the Phaeton. Unfortunately I had to find with regret that there is no guarantee insurance (anyhow on the net) that would insure my loyal glider. Damage to the rear apron

Conversion headlights to facelift headlights with daytime driving LED
Since September 08 I have the facelift headlights with daytime running LEDs to lie at my tuning workshop. Unfortunately, you have not managed to build them fully functional to this day (3 or 4 runs). My Phaeton has 10 pole plugs and the headlights 14 pole plugs. All control units of the new headlights are also available.

Paint the caliper
when I look like this through the “wheel holes”, it doesn’t look so nice behind it. I’m thinking about having the brake calipers painted. Heating defective / delayed interior late warm
Hello, since it has become colder, I notice the following problem, the interior is getting warm very late. More precisely, it comes after the start in the morning, at the moment it is in the garage 10 degrees, always cold air out, until after about 15 minutes drive and/or engine temperature about 85-90 degrees, it becomes “beat-like” warm. As if a valve opens, and then “right” warm air flows into the interior from all ventilation openings below/middle/above. If anyone has a tip what that might be. Thanks for the help, in advance.
