This was an extensive novel at first, but maybe someone reads it through and can possibly answer one or the other question. Wouldn’t it be too bad if a BMW 5/7, an S-Class or an A6/A8 were to come to the focus after all.

A new one from Bavaria
As a Jaguar fan in search of a well-preserved S Type R I have now landed at the Phaeton. There I sit with my Speci together β an equally car-crazy like me β and talk about my upcoming wish-purchase. Somehow we came to the topic Phaeton and did not let go of it. So I made a few days here in the forum and became more and more interested in this vehicle. By the way, thank you at this point for all the background knowledge that was collected here. Besides my search for the Jaguar then suddenly stood the Phaeton in the search list at Mobile β as that only slipped in there β funny : ) After several review appointments in VW car houses of course with the checklist available here I got to the present in Mainburg fun. A TDI Premium equipment – Braun Mocca β Anthrazit with sun-beige interior BJ 2014 with 83000 km check booklet to buy me again. One of them was a car house at the Reibbeton was not driven to the Reibbeholt 8000.

Oil and calmness
Hello forum, as from the user @A346 in the thread “Mayday-Mayday, super lead-free instead of diesel fueled?? Well note now a new thread which fits more to the topic. In the old thread I mentioned that I am not satisfied with the running quietness of the V6-TDI at all. Some users had expressed the suspicion that because of the high mileage the engine bearings may have passed. Since my vehicle was recently in the workshop the workshop could get an overview. Conclusion: The bearings are not necessarily in mint condition, but need change they are also not at all. Perhaps the previous owner had already had something done. No idea… I have experimented with an oil additive in the last few weeks and can already record a small success (Xado Test) The additive has developed after about 2000 km the full performance according to the manufacturer and can hardly feel any idleness in the course of an oil change again. This oil change is now and I wonder if I can reach something with a special oil? So the background is still the outside temperature.

2011 year no Bluetooth, like retrofitting
Hello Drive a VW Phaeton and have only one SD card slot and no bluetooth. I had asked to load a car hifi and they wanted 550 euro. My question would be, do you know how to upgrade bluetooth? Have no AUX (no idea why). Thanks in advance

Air suspension. Increase the diameter of the compressed air lines to 10mm for faster lifting and lowering?
Servus dear association of the Volksbentley drivers, I was in Poland in June and saw a Phaeton there, which could lift/lower itself very quickly. Since my Polish is very limited and the owner English is not less, I can only tell from the conversation that he apparently increased the diameter of the compressed air pipes to 10mm. Various questions arise here: – How complicated must such a project have been? – Where do the pipes run? In the threshold? – Do the pipes still fit the series valve block at all? Something tends to tell me that the valves should also be modified, since the air quantity first has to be through there. Does someone have experience out of pure chance? In general, my V10 only rises very comfortably. Thanks in advance.

Phaeton – Start with Start/Stop button does not always work
Hello, my husband’s Phaeton (Benziner, V8, Allrad, Automatik, EZ 12/2015) can always be started perfectly with the start/stop button at the cold start. However, the following problem has occurred over and over again recently: If the engine is warm and the engine is switched off, e.g. in traffic jam or during a long red phase at the traffic light, then the car can no longer start immediately with the start/stop button. Most of the time, it only works on the third attempt. In the second start attempt, it was currently noticeable that the various symbols you see in the dashboard did not light up. The battery in the key is fine. Can someone tell me the cause and the solution for this problem?

Upgrade Deluxe – from BMW E46 to Phaeton GP3
Tach together, because my E46 320d had come a little bit into the years and with 365tkm also started the first electronic problems, something new should come to bring me relaxed from A to B. Since I drove a lot of long distance, I was looking for a car, which offers space and significantly more comfort than the 3rd. After randomly short test drive in the GP4 of an acquaintance and extensive reading here in the forum (great thanks to all the members for the extensive information and FAQs!) the decision was made for the thickness. Due to my body size (knapp under 2m and “sitzriese” it had to be one without sliding roof. Since I wanted to do without the equipment and the well equipped variants mostly installed the SSD, the search lasted a little longer. 3 weeks ago I picked up my thicknesses then at the frame. According to service history, the vehicle was probably still a VW-press vehicle, accordingly well equipped (s. profile) and properly maintained (u.a. new tires, brake disks, TΓV was also able to start with the same thing.

275 he to 19″ Omanyt, but a problem?
Hello dear ones. I made myself “schlau” at the TΓΌv times. They say that if you do not find the tyre size in the data block of the manufacturer / vehicle it makes a single demonstration necessary and then the child is probably already in the well. Means, then if a test has too little space (or the examiner is somewhat uncertain) the decrease does not go positive. I think that the Phaeton anyway has something of a “nesthegchen”. Every S-Class and also 7s and XJ come with 275 and more on the roadway. Thus it should be possible to get a release from the GMD, that the Omanyt with ET 40 with 275 can be equipped. According to the user here this is technically no problem, perhaps with 5 mm distance disks, if the ET 40 are positive to the rim axis. Maybe one of you has already obtained a release at the GM. The heaviest bolt in the upper class and the narrowest tires from the factory (235).

Air outlet nozzle aperture deakivieren
Hi, everybody, I had a mobile phone holder (Kenu Airframe) in my car so far which was clipped into the air outlet nozzle. This was a very inconspicuous and well-functioning solution. Since it is now a bit more complicated with the mobile phone holders in the thickness, I have considered whether it is possible to prevent the automatic blinding of the left air outlet nozzle without taking action with a side cutter? Can you encode this if necessary? So I could continue using the airframe and would not have to do without the aperture globally. If someone asks: iPhone 7 is the phone which should find a place somewhere.
