  • Swap VW CC for Phaeton?

    Good day together, the following situation. I bought a CC from a private person in Feb. 2018. The car had an NP of almost 65,000 euros built in 2013. I searched for such a car for a long time. Brown leather, camera, self steering systems, Dynaudio and then also R Line and much more. Now the car has run 148.000km and up to now there were no problems. I only had to change the spark plugs and new Xenon from Osram were installed. The inspections have always been carried out at VW. However, there is one thing I’m worried about. And that’s the fact that soon there are 150,000km on the clock. Now I’ve been thinking about switching to a Phaeton. Year of construction 2015 (because of the model maintenance) and a maximum of 90,000km. What’s your opinion? A car is the top in order to drive a Phaeton or drive the CC first? Sure, at the end of the day, the car is in order. e I have to decide for myself but I hope to have some arguments from the forum. Thank you very much.

    Hello everybody, dear Phaeton drivers! After reading a lot here I had to register now, because at the moment a problem is bothering me and I somehow don’t want to realize that the only way to the VW dealer is to lead. Problem: With my GP3-Phaeton with Kessy the second key has passed electronically. So it didn’t work anymore, and it wasn’t the battery. An electronics technician then examined the part and found that an important component on the platinum e is defective. Request from the VW dealer then resulted in an incomprehensible price of approx. 600 Euro for a factory new replacement key incl. learn here on site. So far, so bad. Thought to me then (perhaps a little naive…): Cann’t be sooo big problem, one reads again and again something about “learning keys” – get you just ‘n used, build-like Phaeton key and let it learn with the still working first key. My VW specialist had to give up after several attempts and inquiries in the VW Cosmos – apparently there has been something changed in the last years in WOB, because in the past it worked out well. And now no more, he definitely can not do it. I then asked at a car key service, and he said that he doesn’t do anything at Phaetons, because it is too dangerous for him from the electronics. already seen quite bad things with Phaetons, with which then nothing went on at all … Logically, of course, I don’t have a peek on it either. However, 600 € are of course really heavy for a second key … therefore my question to you: Is there another way? Does someone have experiences in more recent times with the learning of a used key? Does anyone even have a contact person who could help me there? Thanks in advance! 🙂

    Hi guys, on eBay there is currently a V6 TDI in it, which has the rear apron base of the W12 on it. Do I understand correctly that the lowermost approach is changed and the two square double tubes are fixed in this apron? So you can just tuash the base and doie existing tubes of the two ESD behind it remain unchanged and show on the ground? Is this also possible with the latest thickness?   • Help! Both ashtrays clamp bomb-proof

    Sorry to bother you with such a thing, especially since my vehicle still has factory warranty and I could drive to the friendly one. But that is somehow too stupid with such a problem: I used the ashtrays exclusively as a coin compartment; in the left compartment a euro, in the right compartment nothing at all. About 2 weeks ago the left compartment did not open anymore. I didn’t care relatively much about that, I first copied the euro in it and with my euro in the right ace The same thing happened to me today. I swear that in both cases I did nothing but close the drawer with moderate pressure. As long as both still worked, the compartment was about one millimeter ahead. Now the compartments are about one millimeter inside. Is there a way to get the things out again without scratching everything? I would be very grateful for a tip. Max

    Moin together, I was yesterday in Lüdinghausen in the well-known workshop, because there some Phaeton friends met for screwing, nonsense and Zottel’s good coffee. Was once again funny and informative. And since there was a W12er standing there for slaughter, which still had the shift paddle, I slammed it and bought it and Zottel also built it up immediately. Press again to the second stage = Turn off engine, turn off ignition. 6. Once longer than one S press the first step = lock the steering lock again. With me he only does 1, 2, 4 and 5.
