    Hello in the round, I am now also Phaeton owner (EZ 08/15). I searched really long for a specimen without corrosion problems – now I hope to have found a suitable part. I am no longer the youngest (Bj. 1955) and just wanted to fulfill a dream again. For that I gave my X5 with a heavy heart. Well, it was much easier to get in and out there! For this the new one glides better ??. Since I no longer drive so much rde, have I decided for the petroler. Today I will be embarrassed right now.   • Kessy dry, but vehicle can not start, key is not recognized

    Moin Moin, I know the subject is up.. but I found nothing in the constellation. The Phaeton stood with me for a long time rum, and I noticed already when I put the two weeks ago into operation, how he had difficulty to recognize my key (thought key battery is dead, was replaced earlier). Now I wanted to go to the car today. AGM just hung on the charger, installed it and wanted to unlock the car. Over the remote control nothing went. The alarm So the driver’s door opened, alarm lights remained on. Put in and the car started shouting. So I “plugged off” the wire of the siren with force and both batteries also to open the footroom without the DWA bothering me. Here I noticed; the Kessy is Furztrocken!! I then called in Lüdinghausen, they could tell me ad hoc but nothing. Maybe read out. When the batteries were still in, my key was held (must have called in Lüdinghausen, but they could not tell me anything. Now I don’t know if the DWA horn is really paralyzed now by just plugging it off – it went off two more times afterwards, then it was off. I don’t want to connect the batteries to disturb half the neighborhood when reading the kessys and be allowed to deal with the police. Furthermore, I am about to expand and investigate the kessy, because the keyless anyway never klakla ppt. So I suspect creeping corrosion in kessy, which has now finally taken it off. Is one even able to read the car without ignition? The car steals me 100% again the key. Anyone advice how to continue here?     Hello little Phaeton community! Since I am now more active in the forum than I had suspected at the beginning, I thought I would introduce myself here. Initially I signed up here on the occasion, because I had bought a Phaeton and knew that I would encounter some problems there, which I could not solve without expert help. With the acquisition of one of these rolling masterpieces, I have fulfilled a long dream. I would like to thank you very much. The Phaeton is, in my opinion, the only vehicle from this segment, without this “poser factor”. Understatement and luxury pure, but still practical in everyday life. In fact, in 2011 I fell in love with the show “The Checker” in the car in shock. A childhood dream quasi. Briefly to my person: I am 23 and come from the vicinity of Landsberg in beautiful Bavaria. I am already very interested in technology and vehicle from a very young age, therefore my training as a aircraft mechanic and then as a computer scientist. My rolling companion is a Phaeton Edition 6, 3.0 TDI from the year 2008, which I bought in December 2020 with 129000 km for 850€ from 3rd hand. When buying the tailgate did not work, which was a good negotiation argument for me. The condition was largely very well maintained.   • Mirror lenses fall off, quality or chance?

    Moin. I moved from the A6 4f to the Phaeton 3/4th year ago, don’t lynch me immediately, but let’s be honest, the Phaeton isn’t really high in quality, is it? Just as an example: Last Sunday the mirror glass fell off when I was washing (yes, he gets hand wash), no big deal, made appointment with the friendly, anyway still have a guarantee and immediately a few little things with advertised, grappling chassis, bad radio reception, etc. (the usual Ver It wasn’t found, it continued to observe….OK. When I started there, I noticed that the other mirror glass wobbles strangely, stopped, see, the same crap, also replaced the coating from the mirror again.     Hello again, I had it set today that the comfort lock works and the car shuts itself off independently if you drive more than 15 km/h. Unfortunately the function “Blink and Beep” did not work, think my Dikcer then has no DWA. My question now is, since I have summer tires in the dimension 275 40 19 on original rims to put the ship !!DEZENT!! a little deeper. With my predecessor, a S320 CDI series W220 it was easy to relatib! the level changed. Finished and no error message with front 3 and hit 2 cm. What does this look like with Phaeton?   • GP3, 3.0 tdi, later switching time from D2 to D3 at cold temperatures and cold engine

    Hello, I’ve noticed more than once that my fat guy, when he’s still cold and the outside temperature is at most 3-4 degrees, only switches from D2 to D3 at about 55-60 km/h.
