Dear Phaeton-Comunity, very often we have already recommended to each other in various threads “the beautiful things of this world”. I call on to place the recommendations in this thread. What should be recommended? Simply everything that makes the heart of a Phaetonist beat higher, from the field of art, music, culture, leisure equipment, holidays, hotels, hobby, watches, cigars, vintages, manufactory products, etc., etc…. Just not “everyday” things that would suit our “still” relatively rare extraordinary car…… Of course, these recommendations may also be critical of nature, user reviews for a recommendation are of course also welcome. ( Should, however, always remain a positive thread despite criticism.) Especially I call on the Phaetonists to make recommendations from a female perspective, since previous indications were mostly “male” views. Hello, after reading so much about zottel here I drove 450 kilometers to him with my problem, my navicomputer had given up the spirit, in my workshop on the spot I was offered only one exchange, which would have cost about 1000 euros. zottel his partner expanded the part and found the error, it was only a solder to renew, that did not cost me 100 euros. and where I was already there I invested the saved money in a small tuning 🙂 after we were finished I am a few kilometers further to refuel, and there I filled 40 liters benzin instead of diesel (did not refuel in more than 20 years) my first call was of course to zottel, he could help me further and pumped out my tank in front of place VIELEN DANK again for your help! I will definitely drive back to zottel if I have a problem!!!

So again a new THREAD from me. Must admit that I used to smile at the car cleaning fraction rather and could not really understand how you can invest so much time in car care…. Now I seem to have real father feeling for my little “thickness” and want to spoil it;-) Which care products do you use? For the paint? Rims? Interior? (Here I would be interested if there is anything good for the wood carving strips? Irrespective polish that is sealed and perhaps also makes small hair scrapers invisible?) Hello everyone, every year in winter the sweat pearls are on my forehead. At the traffic lights massive smoke fumes always rise in front of the left headlight. Each time I am afraid that my Phaeton is about to burn down. But it is always the heater. Hopefully. Why can’t you just move the exhaust air channel to the rear? Would spare me some fear. Has also been addressed at a traffic light that my car is burning because the smoke got up from the engine compartment. Gruss capdoc

Hello together, you tried to break into my Phaeton. The perpetrator or the perpetrators tried to smash the passenger side window but didn’t have it together, the disc has broken but stopped standing. Does one of you know if the partial cascade takes over this? I know that in general a windshield has a double glazing with a foil in between but how is that with the side window? is that not easy glazing?

Hello all, I have the following problem at.mein v6 3.0 tdi bj 09. In the kombi stand engine fault, workshop. I read the error and there stand agr valve sporadically( N18). I cleaned the valve, which in my opinion was not even so trusty. Everything was built together again and when I start it now it runs completely quiet and clean but after 7 sec. it goes out abruptly! Error read out again, 0 error. Does anyone have an idea where the problem might lie here? Vi Elen Thank you Greetings

Last winter I had the heater reprogrammed at VW (!) in my 2011 Phaeton, so that the one now works with a prefix clock quite normally as a prefix heating. And that actually works perfectly and without any problems. I had in the meantime given at VW to supplement the heating with a remote control. That was denied me with the comment for technical reasons not. Openly I don’t understand the reasons for this. Since I myself Ingenie I’m not sure that something like this is not going to work. hello since yesterday owner of a vw phaeton v6 3.0 tdi 4motion and since today member in forum. I need, according to the season, winter bikes for the phaeton. there are all kinds of variants offered; but mostly not the ones from my vehicle license, which read: 235/50R18 101Y can I use this indication also mature with the gr. 235/60 R 16 100? these come from the phaeton V 6 3.2 petroler (so no 4motion). best thanks for this first aid…
