Good evening people, have recently a following engine wobbles in front of the engine compartment and also in the interior the seats vibrate. it is not always there fall but sporadically! according to diagnosis ÖAMTC P2196 Lambdasonde (bank 1, Sensor 1) system too fat. I recently changed the throttle flap! But after the throttle exchange did not make a problem. Would be very grateful for the possible help! Have still error messages in the display when I turn on the ignition but then they go away when driving: F ochler Werkstatt Fahrwerk die Audi Werkstätte has said it can only be a dealer from the chassis broken, how can you go ahead? Air suspension obviously does not lose air! Errors stop braking. Brake pads are fine. Tension V8 between camshaft wheels?
Hello.. times a short question about the timing belt tension between the camshaft wheels at the V8. Had looked out of curiosity and had to notice with horror that after a service life over a night, the timing belt is quite loose and down it is tight so as it should be. Above it is very loose… After letting on the engine the strap is everywhere just not straight after longer service life! Is there possibly the hydraulic tensioner defective? The tension cannot hold correctly and the camshaft wheels are slightly twisted by the valve springs and the flap condition is created between the NWR? PS.. If after the service life, if the belt is loose between the NWR without having started the engine at the central screw crankshaft by hand 2 revolutions make that the voltage is again the same everywhere, it will then be preserved even after days. https://youtu.be/VGwmYYxPbyg Greeting Alex

Keyless engine start/stop malfunction.
Moin Moin, has had a Phaeton GP2 in my possession for two days. My problem: I open the car without a key and start the engine without a key.. after a 10 min drive I can no longer get the car out. Then I have to put the key in the ignition lock and manually stop the engine. Then I can no longer get it without a key. After a break of about 30 min. I can start the car again without a key and even stop if it didn’t run too long. Someone has an idea?

Battery empty!!! Help!!!
Hello dear Phaeton lovers, I can now announce my first Phaeton as my property for a few weeks now and had no problems at all… until the day before yesterday! Even in advance, it is a V6 3.2 gasoline from 2002. The problem: When I came to my babe the day before yesterday morning, the dear car did not open with my radio key. There was still a very weak light on the turn signal, but that was it. So I went with the key into the keyhole and got manually When turning around in the ignition lock: GAR NO MUX! Then I started the car with the emergency start (key to the left and then to the right), everything worked out immediately. Only all settings had disappeared, long-term statistics, time (the beautiful analog clock turned and turned until I have set the time by GPS again) etc. When I set everything again, I was able to leave normal and everything was good… Then I turned off the car and after 2 S yesterday and this morning then again the same dilemma! From a service life of approx. 5 hours the car is absolutely flat! When looking at the battery (left in the trunk) I saw that there was already a new battery installed there. Gem. of a friend car connoisseur, however, this is an acid battery (white battery), which should not have been installed with me, because of cycles or such things… So I have the car immediately with this b car connoisseurs connected to his analyzer and had the fault memory read out. There was actually nothing exciting except many messages because of too low onboard voltage etc. and once a short circuit or something similar in the memory seat of the driver side. So, now I could of course buy a new onboard battery tomorrow and hope that that was the fault. But I’m also afraid that I will buy the battery and do nothing else! . already experience with such a problem? That was very long now, but I wanted to describe the problem as accurately as possible. A fat guy
End of a good time… So, after 4 years I left my P yesterday and already suffer today. We needed a combo because of still small Labrador/Sweeperdog puppies and my P would be on Feb 2020 with Tüv, warranty extension (2tsd) and at 114tsd possibly the injectors in 6 months. So now Frauchen has a Golf Variant for the animal. And I drive 1-6 months Beetle Cab, then it goes away at the latest. Was a great time and I now look for a successor with luxury for little money. in GP4 was not available here in the north. I would also like to have the full guarantee again, as I used it every year. I thank all passengers for great contributions here and I continue reading, maybe I find a good GP4 from the dealer. Currently the Q5 Tfsi 55 e is offered by the company for 300,- gross without ANZ at 10tsd. If times for 18months a trip to the hybrid camp. Ciao together

Dying Phaeton – could the air suspension be replaced by a classic ?
Good evening, For 12 years I have been driving a Phaethon (12/2004, 260,000km), on which I very much hang. As the air suspension seems to be completely over now, I wanted to know if it might be possible, in your opinion, to replace it with a traditional suspension. A well-known repairer did this once successfully with a Range Rover. The following happened: After problems had occurred during the air suspension, my independent workshop tried the car. repair with used parts (such as sensors or suspension). Unfortunately, it has become worse within a short time, so that the car is now extremely high and wobbly when driving. According to the Swiss Volkswagen dealer AMAG, there is now probably a combination of mechanical problems (various defective parts in the wheel suspension) and probably also an electronic/electric problem, which makes the air pumps work badly. Suitable drinking bottle for the drink holders
Hello, the question may sound a bit stupid but it is quite serious. I always have a 0.5 liter bottle of mineral water from the supermarket on longer distances. I put this in the front, right-hand drink holder. However, since the drink holders are not very deep built, it often happens when cornering trips, which overturns the bottle, because there is too little hold. Means, I hold the bottle precautionally, before it goes into the curve and it just annoys. Is there 0.5 liters of bottles that are slightly wider and do not tilt so easily? Greetings Mathias
