Hello, I too broke up yesterday from my Phaeton – a relatively spontaneous decision, but in the long run the car will be too expensive in the next time (my new one now costs VK 460€ instead of 1050 at Phaeton, tax 50 instead of 460, not to mention fuel), since private soon some changes are coming up, which will go into the money – there must be a car soft! Now I drive a former factory car Golf 7 BlueMotion TSI (bitl exhaust scandal sniffing ) BTW: Scandal back or forth, I I am simply convinced of the end product and would not buy anything else. Thanks to all nice Phaeton drivers here, very big thanks especially to Zottel, who always helped with advice and action! You are a great community!! Best regards Robin P.S.: I will miss the massage seats

Phaeton Underbody & cavities conserve in time / protect against salt and rust
Hello everyone, After research in the forum I have unfortunately found nothing and now turn to you with a new topic. Since August I am the owner of a Phaeton Bj 2012 approx. 70,000km, long wheelbase. (As a preliminary information about which car my concern revolves around) My previous flicker had considerable problems with rust etc. on the underfloor. I would like to counteract this circumstance in time and conserve the underbody. Have you already had experience with it? What must be considered? Wel I am looking forward to receiving a lot of feedback. Thank you very much. Greetings in round

Is that serious customer acquisition?
After an A6 Avant I would like to drive an extraordinary car … I found at mobile.de a very nicely equipped noble white V6, built in 2009 – so far everything fits – also the financing example of the action financing with 2.9% is not bad … So call and ask. Now my eyes are getting bigger and bigger: Since the white Phaeton still pleases my heart, I let the documents come with mini financing of 2.000,00€. New shock in the purchase contract text: “At the time of the delivery of the vehicle, the following defects exist: paint, bodywork, finishing work: 4.460,00 €” and the winter bikes are used … Result: My dream of the new companion has burst … After a mischievous deception, I am back at the beginning of the search … Please help me with your experience of more serious suppliers of a similarly comprehensively equipped Phaeton with excellent price-performance ratio … How are your experience? with the 1% leasing? Greetings from Jena Michael

AB-Automobiles in Ettlingen – Worth a recommendation?
Hello After I had really bad luck with the GP2 (but was rather at the dealer and his quality feeling) but not really see an alternative to the Phaeton, I am interested in two vehicles with the dealer AB-Automobile in Ettlingen. I would like to plan a visit next week, but at 300km I would also like to know beforehand if anyone has had experience there – and how these have gone? Can you get on the phone information Have a nice rest weekend, Peter

Buy a Phaeton before production is stopped?
Hello everyone, since the production of the Phaeton will be finally discontinued next year, I wonder if one of the last vehicles that will ever be produced before the Elektro Phaeton, which will no longer be a Phaeton but rather a completely new vehicle, should increase. Especially with regard to the usually granted discounts on “exit models” it should be possible to be realistic here a new vehicle clearly under List or wait until the first 2015/16 vehicles on the used market appear at prices far below golf/passat level due to the lack of follow-up production. What do you think? Who has already thought about this? Gruss capdoc

Heater recoded to preheater.
Good evening to all Phaeton drivers. For about 1 year I also own a diva. After looking for a long time in the forum, I recode several heaters on stand-up heating. Now 2 following problems have emerged. 1.Heating lowers 2.cooling temperature sensor limit value exceeded. So, to 1 is clear, enter code and unlock. But to 2 where is the sensor sitting? I once Googled around and some write, if the value is exceeded, then the circulating pump is defective. If I use the mot or start, then quickly Temper rises. to 60 degrees and it comes in warm air. So I assume that the pump is I.O or am I wrong? In ZAB I can choose when STH should approach and how long. Ask for your help !!! Oh almost forget, it is Bj 2007 3.0 tdi.

Body Acceleration Sensor Really Suddenly Defective?
Hello and good day. I briefly describe my problem. I had a wild accident. At the front was a lot wide. ( bumper, grill, radiator suspension, not the cooler itself, bonnet etc. ) The car drove however still quite normal to home and then also still 25 km to the workshop. There he stood 5 weeks, because of spare parts lack ( cooler, hood ) on the yard. When I could pick it up, the master told me it sporadicly the body acceleration sensor at the front right. was not the case until the vehicle was released. Even after the accident not. Now the error is constantly reported, with the ignition switched on already, and now also the left is also shown. It is the errors 008B and 008C interruption / ground closure. It can be quite a coincidence that the two at the same time break, but that would be a great coincidence, and then also still on the yard of the workshop standing and waiting for repair. Before I buy now 2 new sensors and they it but not are, I wanted to ask the experts here, if there are ideas, what it could still be ? A fuse ? A not really screwed mass point ? Or a too weak comfort battery ? Or yet by chance both sensors at the same time ? I am not very knowledgeable and have little idea, but for that I hope for your friendly support. I have already developed the sensors. They looked so still quite good, except for slightly cracked rubber casting, which however no Thank you for your help. Oliver. 3.0 TDI, 2012, 170 000 km.

Steering wheel is crooked or drags start to the left
Hello, the following problem on my 2009 3.0l TDI Phaeton (92,000km) The Fzg. pulls strongly to the left as soon as I set the steering wheel straight ahead. In order to drive straight ahead I have to twist the steering wheel with (normal) effort about 30° to the right (so in principle counter-direct). If I let go, it sets itself a little back (maybe to 15° can not say exactly) and the Fzg. pulls again to the left. The steering wheel does not vibrate at all, the Fzg. drives in every situation (also at 180km/h) ) normal (except for the steering wheel position). I can’t say exactly when the topic occurred, in February on winter holidays everything was definitely normal. Sometime before maybe 2-3 months I suspected that something was wrong, since I hooked myself from workshop appointment to workshop appointment. I can also understand no event that could have led to this behavior (beat hole etc.). Subjectively it became after the axle survey (see below) rather worse, at the beginning was the difficulty maybe 10-15°, therefore it took me a while to notice it at all. The Fzg. was several times to measure, twice at a free workshop, from then several times at a VW dealer. Of both workshops the handlebars / track rods or. generally bearing/axle components were rated as i.o.. The VW dealer has changed a (meaning?) defective acceleration sensor before the measurement, because the Fzg. did not want to switch to the lift mode. (Niveauverst In addition, it was tested whether the car with the summer tires (currently I drive the old WR from) in the first place, but the same behaviour. Until the last time the car drove with the SR perfectly straight ahead. Today the VW workshop wants to change the WR from R to L again. I also think that such a strong position cannot come from the tires, then one would have to do this on the tires s However, these look to a large extent normal (for their age), i.e. evenly driven (despite being allowed to drive on the 5000km with inclined steering wheel). Then the VW workshop tried to adjust the steering position via software, but also did nothing. Otherwise, the VWlers are perplexed and have a request run at VW. I definitely do not want to exchange the steering on suspicion, since one has to show me that this is broken. It certainly is nothing for me if they simply implement the steering wheel, because I have to steer against it to drive straight. Igrendwo in the forum read the following: “If already the rack in the steering gear at Garade outlet is not absolutely exactly in the middle, it comes to steering support to the left or right and the car pulls in the respective direction. “That could explain to me the behavior, if that is true, but it can be that the rack stands out of the middle with straight Steering wheel? Can the workshop simply check this or how much effort does it make? Much more important: Can you correct this (I’m going to go out of this) without changing the steering? And can such a thing even occur “just like that”? Why should the steering just be so misguided? I’m really perplexed, so it doesn’t go on anyway, it drives terrible and dangerous, because a short moment of carelessness already leads to the car “turning off!” UPDATE: The workshop has just melted After changing the tires from left to right, the car is now moving slightly to the right. LR is still wrong. I have to take a closer look at how this is going now, then I’m doing an update again.

New Phaeton Member
Good evening, I wanted to introduce myself again, my name is Marius, I live near Darmstadt and came through our company to the Phaeton. My BMW is sold and I can call myself since yesterday proud Phaeton owner. The first kilometers were already great, it is really the complete opposite compared to the BMW. A few thought the car would be too thin equipped but I think that this is enough for me, everything that was important to me, like Navi, leather, X enon, PDC front/back and much more he has on board, among other things pearl effect painting in Tarantella-black, ACC, electric tailgate etc. Furthermore, I find it great that all-wheel and automatic series are, that is on the one hand practical in winter and on the other hand my wife can drive the car also times (if my last post has followed, know what I mean). To the engine (3.0 TDI V6) I can only say so much so far, the car is not undermotorized with the power and has w I find a good passage, but I feel the typical diesel nailing in the stand already clearly louder than in the BMW. Overall I am more than satisfied with the vehicle characteristics. That was first of all from me, I hope for a nice time with my Phaeton and many new and nice people here. LG Marius.
