Hello together, My Phaeton 4.2 jerks when I speed up and the automatic transmission goes from second to third gear, with a not so comfortable shock (absolutely not according to the upper class…). That’s only the case if the engine (and gearbox) is cold, there are no problems with warm operation (well, maybe the gear change of 2 to 3 during warm operation is a little less comfortable than the other gear change, but that’s hard to remember). With other gear change no problems, even with cold engine and gearbox. Today the shock was a little less, if I gave hardly any gas when changing from 2 to 3. Hello together! I once again had a little misignition and accordingly the constantly shining exhaust-warning-light. Normally this can only be fixed by deleting the error memory in the workshop. However, I had my little nephew (3years) sitting in the car and he played around on the Navi. When I caught him, he was just on the way in the “settings”. Strangely only, that suddenly, for the first time since I drove Phaeton, the exhaust-warning-light was out again – without a workshop. How that?!!!
