Gruezi! After I took the first place last weekend in my life behind the noble steering wheel of a Phaeton 3.2 and drove something through the North German plain I would like to tell my experiences – rather not technical – nature. I noticed very much that a Phaeton in Hamburg and surroundings and of course in smaller villages is still very noticeable. Sometimes I believed that some people thought when looking: Stop a passat, – no that can’t be ! But what then? You can’t speak of an all-world car either in my eyes. Image factor: Without question very high. Even some acquaintances who drive Mercedes otherwise were spontaneously enthusiastic. But also skeptical if you can drive with such a thing with the customer. I mean: Anyway!! Without that I can report there also from the Swiss perspective that it is not particularly important, what I drive rather like! An extremely pleasant attitude of my BALD countrymen ! Unfortunately, exactly this attitude in Germany is somewhat underrepresented as I had to notice to my sorrow. From appalling glances, some strange sayings at the gas station “always in”?????? What did he mean only????…. At a meeting I was asked if I could afford to drive such a thing…. Everything very unpleasant. That has clouded my joy with the vehicle a bit. I just made it a habit to look at the people IN THE car and not on the sheet metal shell. Too bad that only rarely something positive came. But maybe some people were just jealous? It would be nice if some would express themselves here on this topic! Almbauer

The crown eats wechhhh !!!
According to Auweh 4.2 TDI 650NM and 320 PS, BSE has now also upgraded the 7er further: Result: 750NM at 330 hp. thus our crown is finally wechhhhh…. shame about it.. Greetings dickschiffuser see also: www.7er.com there is also a very informative report about BMW’s night vision in it (7er ) as a competitor product to the S.Class night radar. When VW brings at Phaeton something revolutionary again It??? At that point BSE is really very, very fast to stay at eye level of what is currently feasible.

Car rental
I do not understand why VW does not better market its good transition and car rental policy. Why are these vehicles not equipped with a corresponding (decent) sticker? I can imagine that here would still be customer potential to gain. peso

Reader’s letter in the current car picture
Reader’s letter on the subject of Audi A8 4.2l TDI: ********************************* “In my opinion, the most powerful diesel engine still has the VW Phaeton V10 TDI.Why do you constantly suppress the Phaeton (car image) and give the impression that Phaeton only plays on the edge of the upper league of the luxury limosine market?” *************************************** 100%ig agree! The A8 report in the car picture of two weeks ago was so euphoric and enthusiastically written I know that especially Audi (and many more) editors are sent to Ticino or Milan etc. to test the top hotels of this world, in order to test the new car by the way 10 days. Of course free of charge … but not without obligation. Greetings Dickschiffuser

W 12 buy or prefer not ….
I’m still looking for a used Phaeton for me. First and foremost I had already shot myself on the V10 TDi. The V6 petrol engine seems to be rather a poor motorization when I look at the sum of the impressions here in the forum, whereby I liked the V6 TDi very well during a test drive ! Now I see more and more offers of the W 12 variants at interesting prices. I am well known that the W12 with appropriate driving methods rich Since I would like to call myself a leisurely glider, at least I would hope for an average consumption of about 16 liters. Am I so wrong or should I change my mind (annual driving performance only around 10.ooo km) in terms of petrol rather take the V8 ?

current delivery time Phaeton 3.0 TDI 4motion
Hello, I just phoned with the glass manufactory to ask for the current delivery date for my Phaeton ordered in mid-May. Currently in Dresden one assumes a delivery time for the 3.0 TDI of 18 weeks – so the car will probably come only in September. But our dealer provides us with a Phaeton as a replacement car via Europcar. Telephonewise the manufactory had a great service with all the things one wishes for as a customer. Also our dealer has un We have never experienced this before at Mercedes and Audi. With this information, we wanted to inform all interested parties about the current delivery time. We are looking forward to hearing from our customers about the latest delivery time.

navigation
hello, I’m new here. after an e211 change, it’s supposed to be a 3.0 diesel. looking through this forum, there’s obviously a lot more “quiet” argument here. because the navi in the phaeton is ancient, but probably that’s why my question is working if a mobile navi without an outside antenna will also have a reception in the double glazing.

Equipment: extended wooden package?
Equipment: Advanced wooden package/audio system High End Does any of you have pictures with or without an extended wooden package? I think I’ve already seen both in exhibition cars, but I can’t judge from my memory at best if it justifies the extra charge of 2000 euros. And how do you feel about the audio system High End for 1000 euros? My last test car didn’t have this feature before (I don’t think). Some pieces of music, however, sounded rather strange, especially the voices in news broadcasts sounded distorted. I then quite quickly chose the setting “neutral”. That sounded quite okay.. however, I can’t judge whether the normal radio actually sounds worse. To do this, you should be able to compare this feature directly, but for this reason I can’t judge whether the radio sounds worse at short notice. Thank you, Alex.

Radiator grill
Someone once wrote that the VW radiator grill was modeled on a human face. That can be if you look at the “mouth angles”. From how many complaints you build the radiator grill on “trepid” ? peso

Top-class service?
About 3 weeks ago, I showed some defects (defective ventilation hood / varnish on the door panels goes up/ bar on the front window …) on my vehicle, the relevant workshop master of my car dealership. At the subsequent meeting in DD, these defects were partly documented and the errors were known and were of course corrected without any problems. After the car wash after the meeting, I noticed that a decorative strip at the driver’s door had been removed. A lso I immediately called my workshop again to have this thing done in the same train. Since then I have been waiting for an appointment or at least the message that my case has not been forgotten. During my visits or even telephone calls with the “friendly” the master seemed a bit annoying to me. Under top class service I imagine something else! Tomorrow I will definitely call in WOB and hope “There they will be helped”. tigger67
