Hello Phaeton driver! I have received a brand new set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 from the VW customer service workshop in Zwickau. Like so many others, whose car was before delivery to your VW dealer in Zwickau for inspection and preparation. When researching the price and which tires could be an alternative after that, I noticed that many tyre dealers have insane price differences. According to the Goodyear website, there are indeed three different versions of this tyre, pictures attached. The different types are listed there also with 2 different product numbers and also considerably different RRP. Irtumm on my part is virtually excluded. However, on my tires I find no indication that would help me find out which type is installed with me. If I had to renew 1 tyre at short notice due to a defect, the purchase of the same tyre would be desirable. Whether the tyre dealer, who really has to follow the development of many tyre brands, which I would have to doubt on the screen. Therefore, I would like to be prepared.

Error code 02071 Local data bus – 014 broken + 2 other errors

Dear Phaeton friends, I appreciate Phaeton driver, after I’m about 4 years of car rental, I’m getting to the point, because I want to buy a car. Preferably my dream car, a VW Phaeton. About the landlord I’m mostly Passat, Mondeo – and on vacation I’ve already driven Mercedes. The Phaeton is no longer available as a rental car. I drove it last over Europcar. But that should have been already 4 years ago. With Hertz I’ve been driving now almost 4 years and got there for my last Innland vacation again a Merceses. S320, blue efficiency. The resonance was enormous. Enormously negative. Not even by customers, since I had mostly, actually always parked in a second row. Employees sometimes asked me if I had a new car. Everything was still good. But neighbors – business as private – and other traffic participants just didn’t give me a good feeling. Neid and hostility. Anyway, I don’t want to park constantly with my customers. For this I don’t have any time. And the forum regrets in the first line of the company.

However, the design rather appeals to me less. Somehow everything is already familiar. Not that this would be bad, but if I can only distinguish a vehicle of this class from its siblings by the shape of the LED daytime running light, I think that’s counterproductive. I still thought the single frame was ok, but that the rear now has clear similarities to the A4 / A5 …. I don’t know. The latest technology is beautiful and good, but somehow I miss out on this model (as well as in the competition) the fineness in detail. I admit that I used to have always weathered over the Phaeton. How boring, why does VW need such a thing, etc. But despite its years (or that) the highlight car is certainly a new one.

It seems that there is with many Phaeton drivers (inclusive me) a dear interest to get to know other Phaeton on the road. Besides, I always get a wide grin if I get another representative of this kind to face. One then drives together for a while and then everyone drives his way again. I always feel an interest to say goodbye (or to the others at the meeting). However, I always do not know what would be adapted to this (light horn, warning belllink system,…) because these signs could also be understood as wrong. Retrofit the rear camera. What is needed?
I would like to upgrade my GP3 without a TV tuner to a rear-view camera that works as much as possible with the RNS810. The camera doesn’t necessarily have to switch automatically when inserting the reverse gear. If this is done manually at the push of a button, it’s half as wild. I just don’t really see what exactly I need for my vehicle. I found this set in the net. I’m a little bit afraid of the price and now I’m considering whether I can buy the control unit individually and also the original Volkswagen camera. That would have to work as well, right? The previous threads on this topic are already a bit older and did not give me the answers I had hoped for. I would be interested in how big the difference between 8/10, 12/12 and Dynaudio really is. I also read something about a DSP 12/12. What’s different and why isn’t there any more? Did one of you have the 8/10 and have changed to Dynaudio? Mine had “only” the 8/10 and I was still thrilled – I found the sound more than good, nothing was rumbling or rambling, only the rear view mirror trembles at higher volume. love everyone, I have an old and annoying problem again … in the last time he switches again and again into the emergency run (have the presumption that it is the DPF) because I can “feel” a few minutes before how the power sinks and lately starts again the “gas workshop phase” that I had before.
