    Hello you, after there were some positive comments on the thread of PhartonFan regarding meetings in Oberwiesenthal. And also a few users wanted a meeting in the area Frankfurt/Main, here is the small survey, what you imagine there. Just a small meeting in the evening on a beer/cola/cocktail. During the week or on the weekend. Or an adult meeting with day program, exit, visits with overnight stay over a weekend? A simple meeting in the evening : e.g. at the Steigenberger Hotel Frankfurter Hof there is the Oscars or 22nd Lounge on the 22nd floor of a high-rise building (right next to the Maintower) If it should be something more extensive : e.g. drive to the Feldberg/Taunus, visit of the Roman Castells Saalburg near Oberursel or the Hessenpark, viewing platform on the Maintower in Fft with a view over Fft. Goethe Strasse for the ladies to let the credit cards glow. Lunch/Event meal : Red mill at Kelkheim (is waiting for an excursion place) or your reactions.

  • VW Phaeton 3.0 TDI with 240 ps bj 2008 solid model?

    Hello dear community, I am currently looking for a Phaeton in the above mentioned version. Can you give me hints for this purchase? Does the engine have special weaknesses? I am well aware of the costs with this car. Is there any competent free workshops or Phaeton drivers in the area Hamburg/Lüneburg who have already built up their network around this beautiful car? So far I have only come across deaf nuts. I hope for numerous profitable feedbacks. Greeting Steffen

  • “Resonance trouble”?

    Hello together, I drive a V10 TDI. I actually pay very much attention to the care of the vehicle… Now it may be that I become oversensitive, but I think there would be something after I did not drive the V10 through repairs / maintenance and turbocharger replacement a few weeks. My wife thinks I’m imagining something and the friendly also looks at me stupidly, if I want to show him what I mean. Car started – whether cold or warm. Speed in idle on _EXAKT_ 1200 rpm. There is something felt, as if somewhere a resonance frequency were caught. Somehow I mean, because “feeling” a very minimal wobble, as if you want to shake. Speed remains completely quiet. At minimum other speed it is gone. In driving mode there is nothing to feel at all. I really picture what one or what I should clean the workshop with emphatic replacement? Error memory is of course empty. Last performed work: – Turbo replacement (beside, understands) – Complete cleaning – flushing – was really replaceable – the fuel – was used – I really need to clean the workshop with stress.

    Hello everyone! I would be interested if a motor flush is the same as a mud flush. Both are offered and both flushes should be added to the old oil, let the engine run 10-20min and then make the oil change. Furthermore, I wonder if I have to drain about 1l of waste oil before, because then the flush is added and then would be too much in the engine if you should let it run. My colleague also said that after the flushing you should definitely degrade the oil tank and clean the sieve from the oil pump. Since it could be joined by larger dirt parts that are released during the flushing.

    Good evening, I’m new here and a proud phaeton owner but slowly I disintegrate. To the vehicle. Phaeton Bj. 12.05, 3.0 diesel bmk engine, with 168000km. It started about 6 months ago he smoked white blue and smelled of diesel in the interior, exchanged all injectors, return line about 2 months ago. A month later Lambdasonde ban 1 and Dpf emergency regenerated because the overloaded was after it was quiet. Now he starts again, in the interior it stinks of exhaust gases when I stand at the traffic light and it smokes again. (Water loss I have no and no oil reproduction). Can someone help me further.

  • Please help with purchase of Phaeton – Solar roof issue

    Hello, I want to buy a 2009 Phaeton. I know from theseler that it is equipped with solar roof. However, I have read at the EPOC website that GP2 has the following feature: Solar sliding roof in conjunction with RNS810 ex factory without function. Does this mean that the Phaeton I want to buy can have the stand ventilation not operational? If yes, how can I check remotely with theseler when the stand ventilation works or not?   • …Phaeton, …and once again… the “Third”!

    Well, there I was on the go, ..and I stayed at the Phaeton. The comfort and long-distance suitability were and are simply not to be surpassed. Besides, the best of all wives….not to be convinced! So I bought a GP3 01/2013 with 14,000km and let again at GAG in Herne. The experiences with the predecessor with 225,000 (!!) trouble-free kilometers ( and meanwhile without problems 255,000 (!!) kilometers with the game mobile 330i on LPG) left me with my mileage performances no other choice, moreover the service and the quality of Mrs Glane is fabulously good. Thanks for a perfect conversion!! Oh yes, I also with the predecessors on long-distance, so possible, far above 200km/h without problems can stop (see also discussion in other Thread). To the vehicle itself: clear further development! Clear, the well-known “disarmaments” are to be noticed, but actually I am satisfied with the rear. Equipment technically he has the “needest” for me, but I did not know how to light up the middle light up! – now – but have to keep quiet.

    Hello dear community, this week I would like to decide whether to get a Phaeton or not. The equipment is bombastic (20″, ACC, 18 ways, Dynaudio, Rearseat Ent., Long wheelbase, 5 seats, trailer coupling, solar roof, accessories, etc….) RRP ca. 128.000€ I drove – all top the defective things will be fixed if I agreed (tore middle console, roof sky dirty, scratch painting, hit rim, etc.) The only thing that currently slows me down is say and write 60 entries in the history at VW. (to pull aid, corrosion several times, brakes, cross handlebars) The car is from 2012 and has 60.000km away… Can someone help me from the forum? Can I buy a sparbuse or is now everything repaired and you have the next 5-7 years of rest? I am very happy about every helpful contribution. Thank you in advance.

  • Motorway France Battery problem 🙁

    Just stand at a resting place in the south of France and don’t know what to do. When I stopped, I noticed a strong smell. Open the trunk and find out that the battery (left) is boiling hot and hissing. I also think the liquid has run out. Unfortunately, I had a suitcase in front of the flap and suspect that the heat has stalled. Now I sit here with the whole family and don’t really know what to do. No error message and the voltage is also at 14,1 volts. Can you risk a further drive to the hotel after cooling down the battery about 200 km or better let the ADAC come. They drag me to the next workshop, however, which opens only on Monday. Does anyone have advice for me?

  • Serious defects after purchase of my Phaeton at VW-Vertragswerkstatt

    My Phaeton (Bj 12/2008, 80,400km) had oil loss during the transmission which could not be prevented by brutal tightening of the gear cap screws. Finally, one litre was missing. But I feel worse that all four front crossbars had cracks and had to be changed. The tyres had already sawtooth profile. I wonder how this is possible, that although the brakes are renewed but not seen that the crossbars have cracks. Actually, I thought with the purchase of a dealer who is advertising with tested quality on the safe side. Your opinion would interest me very much…
