Hello. I would like to introduce myself to you as a new proud Phaeton owner. After an Audi A4 Quattro 3.0 and a BMW 330XD (both company cars) I was looking for a private car, which plays from the engine in the same league. At some point I came by chance on Phaeton and could not do too much with it; so test drive made and immediately “fixed”. What a luxury-sun! After that I started an email-search order at Mobile.de, which had to sell 3 pieces daily. So I also had the agony of choice. So it is a GP3 from 2011, 3.0 TDI V6 has already got 94tkm on the tacho (seemingly to vote after first checks). I had to have to have the last inspection at 89tkm. The car has to look like a few things to do with the brand.

Climate compressor broken??
Hey people I drive a Bentley cont gt. Since there is no category for this I thought I at phaeton will certainly help me. And although my air conditioning does not cool. Coolant is full it also has extra filling. The system is also dense. With vcds I checked the MWB. There is no compressor shut-off condition. So the system Kuhlt however does not. Error memory is empty. I immediately got a nail new compressor from private on e..y. Has also fit coolant again. Does not cool. I have uploaded a video now. You can see that the central area on the belt disc does not rotate with it. As far as I know this is a compressor with control valve without clutch. So that always had to turn with or is there another technique installed? I am very grateful for your help.

Winter comes – rubber mats under the feet??
Hello dear (Phaeton) friends! The next winter is definitely coming and therefore inevitably also dirt to our floor mats. After I have used “something” from rubber as a base for a time now I have succeeded in finding Phaeton-pass-precise rubber mats directly from a rubber mat manufacturer. (Photos I will soon put in – as soon as the car is cleaned and the mats are in it). Now I have the possibility to order these mat sets, provided in at least 5 pack, as I think, quite cheaply…. The costs per set (also Long) should (without post) just move under 60eurons. ?? What do you mean? Sounds interesting enough that you might (some) 5 pack together? PS: I know so far only of color anthracite, I have sent a demand regarding beige and crystal grey, wait for answer…

VW Phaeton rearview camera with OPS retrofit
Hello, I have a Phaeton BJ 04.2012 it is a PDC (3D0 919 283F) address : 76 installed and I would like to install a return camera soon. I would like to know if you can replace the PDC control unit for one e.g.: from the pass, the OPS has (3C8 919 475) address : 10, so that the distance next to RFK is optically displayed. I have already found websites that offer OPS in Phaeton. Shouldn’t you actually go then?Can you simply use a XXX 919 475 STG (umpin + code) or do you have to take notice of something else? How do you maintain your fatness?
Hello, from me current occasion: How do you maintain your thickness? Self or do you leave care? Since you passionate hand washers or drive through the washing system (program?)? Do you grow it or have to reach the hot wax from the washing line? Interior – leather care, wood care etc.? My procedure: hand wash in the SB washing box (mostly on Sundays at 05:30 in the morning, otherwise I am always fully clamped.) Rims with rim cleaner. Then, after thorough cleaning a layer of wax. In the interior 2-3 times a year leather care with means from the leather center, otherwise in between a quick cleaning by means of Swissvax Quick Interior Finish and delicate microfibre cloth. Hello forum, yesterday I got my summer tires on my P. My friend mounted the tires, washed the WR for 14 €, washed the car and drove in the tyre pressure system. I was really very positively surprised how fast and reliable and in my eyes everything was handled very cheaply! Now my W12 is on its 275 with 19″ rim (see picture in the appendix). The driving behavior improved significantly! Somehow more binding and targeted…. The driving comfort in spite of the wide socks and the 19″ rim did not suffer. And because the highway yesterday was so nice free, I then tested once again, where the tacho remains hanging…… Well, then, at Tacho 280 it went into the limiter….. That was yesterday evening…. rolling noise, trunk, emergency run, cooling water loss
Hello dear community Have finally fulfilled my dream and increased a phaeton. Now after two months a few mistakes, maybe I get advice from you: 1) the tires make very loud rolling noises. (was already during the test drive) In the interior it is very loud when driving. Freshly tuv he has so, I don’t think it could be at the wheel bearing or ? 2) the trunk only goes up after the third press since the latest, the first two he does not manage it and goes only 1 cm up and down again and surrates. 3) two days ago he showed motor errors and was in emergency run. After a restart everything was good again and did not come any more. 4) I am of the opinion that he needs a lot of cooling water. Now I drove 5,000 km and had to refill it two times… but he also loses nothing… What interests me now only by the side, is that as a phaeton driver it is still possible to get a free garage car? I have heard that there are advantages forphaeton drivers.
