Hello dear Phaeton drivers, I had asked the nearest ZF partner for a service for my gearbox (GP3) and wondered why they didn’t answer me, so I sent all the necessary information with me. I would like to copy the course here and then I’m curious about your reactions: first my request:Dear ladies and gentlemen, please give me your price and your best recommendation for the necessary effort for a transmission oil change on my Phaeton GP3, Fzg. note. Lt this rep.-histo of VW has not been renewed since EZL. KM-Stand now 101000km. With kind regards then came back:Dear Mr. Xxxxxx, unfortunately I can’t make you an offer for a transmission service for your vehicle, because in the past problems have occurred again after an oil change or a flushing of your vehicle. And now? Who knows something about explicit problems related to our beautiful vehicle?

Semi-defected clock
To the experts here in the forum in my Phaeton 3.2 (241 PS) B. 04-2002 the clock in the A. board no longer changes. After the last winter time change I see under Settings / Time the correct time indication in the monitor/Infotaiment – (by GPS the exact time is displayed) but after pressing the button “Apply” unfortunately nothing in the clock above the monitor (A.Brett) – now unfortunately I see only the old summer time and I do not want to wait until the next change in the spring – by the way, the light is in the also defective – but with that one could still live. So the clock (in the A.Brett) continues to run in the Prinip my VW factory place does not know how to repair the error of the “non-current time acquisition”. They do not trust in the infotainment system – because from there the error could come from then probably. So the cost of the exchange of an entire Plantine will also not be in any proportion by the time correctly can someone do here an idea that you can still do it in advance – the idea of a manual?

….Never made the jump
…in 11/08 I put my V6 after 4 years the friendly on the farm.At all times I was satisfied with the thickness, still I wanted to drive a “other part” again.I consciously ordered a limo break of 2-3 months to deal with a new one without time pressure and with the necessary distance to the Phaeton.Long speech short meaning – since yesterday there is now again a brand new V6 TDI at the door and am again totally enthusiastic!! For me at the moment there is no real alternative to the thickness. With these words I would like to return to the fan community and stick with the best greetings from Regensburg your WEPE PS …Dreams already from next Phaetonmeeting

The matter of customs
Dear forum, that there are 17, 18, 19 and even larger customs data (no, not the charges when crossing the border to the nice gentlemen in blue – partly also in green) for the Phaeton tires, that I have already noticed as a semi-quasi-phaeton technician. In this context, I have come to a question with relaxed Christmas-on-the-couch- lying-in-circle-my-all-loving family mood. If I have wheels with a larger size (larger inch indication) on e.g. one say sometimes 17-inch Phaeton montiere runs then the then faster (same engine encirclement with larger wheel circumference) or.. At the same speed (one Phaeton drives another with 17 inches side by side with 19 inches) the consumption of the Tacho must be adjusted in some way. Only such a overlay from a winterly-deep-scneite-but-comfortably-comfortable house.

The King is dead, Long live the King
My year-old V10 (138,000 km), who has always served me faithfully, surprised me at Christmas with a defective heater, broken xenon burners, broken batteries and an oil leak on the turbocharger. Since the probability of soon due turbochargers and other mean things getting bigger, I used the favor of the hour and instead of a painfully expensive repair a much newer V10 standing on the farm by chance from my friend on the farm was bought. I was relieved of this decision by the acceptable price, which was offered to me for my old fat. Here the pictures of my new acquisition. The equipment is much better than with my old, he even has digital TV. The color composition is somewhat more accustomed (but looks better in Natura than in the photos), which is why the dealer was happy to get rid of him. By the way, I would have almost taken a W12, but he had no floor heating Well, maybe the next time. Greetings from Munich……….

THE END
Does one really believe that VW continues to play in the upper class with the Phaeton?? The next Phaeton becomes an inflated CC (if at all). VW has gone a good way with the Phaeton. But the market now shows who really is upper class. Everyone is aware of how good the Phaeton is. However, it will never be enough for a worse processed S-Class. However, if you had heard about the EPOC, you would have developed a really good marketing strategy. But VW knows what the upper class customer likes. No, no people – the adventure Phaeton is unfortunately over. I will pick up the Xten Phaeton next year. But that will probably be the last one. It is and remains an outdated car, which only sells / leases itself over the price. Too bad that VW has not taken the chance to think about the novelty EPOC once and to pick up its proposals 🙁 But VW is and remains a mass manufacturer in the middle market segment, but only remains full of the middle market segment.

Phaeton 5.0 V10 TDI retrofitting soot particle filters to Euro4
Hello dear community, I already read a lot in the forum for the V10 TDI, because I would like to buy one, is really a great car I have read several times about it that the V10 can be retrofitted with a soot particle filter and then also managed the Euro4 standard, have already seen such vehicles. Can you tell me where I can have the retrofitting and it is also so expertly recognized the VW. Also possible costs. I know of a VW handler who had a converted had it to stand, but had forgotten to ask at that time and was not the home. Would be great if you could help me further.

Phaeton at the dealer around the corner..
http://suchen.mobile.de/vehicles/details.html?id=166620176 Good day together I’m thinking about buying the vehicle behind the link. A nice car. However, I’m not sure what would be a reasonable price. If I look at the others you shouldn’t pay more than 12500 for the car. How are your market experiences? Am I wrong? Greeting Thorsten

Nokia E71 cannot be coupled in thickness
Hi, I’ve already read a topic about E71 in thickness here, but that doesn’t help me any more. I have the Phaeton Model 2008 with Bluetooth hands-free system and tried to pair my E71 with it. After entering the 16-digit code I get the message: Connection cannot be set up. Nokia is on the latest software level, the external SIM mode is switched on and I have entered the code also under 30 seconds. Now I noticed a little while driving, but only once that the phone indicated that the external SIM mode can’t be switched on, although it’s on in the menu!? Can I still do something to get it coupled?? Greetings Bastian
