Stone impact damage at the front of the vehicle
Hello, I drive a silver-coloured Phaeton 3.0 TDI Built 05/05, which has so far run 35,500 km. On the vehicle front there are countless small paint damage, which probably comes from stone strokes. Since I am not a slow driver (travel speed – where it is possible – 180 to 220 km/h, high BAB share), this problem is already known to me from previous cars. Only the damages of the Phaeton are much more extensive than before with many BMWs and Audis. OT: Paint damage caused by road marking

Yesterday my wife with your C-Max, which I bought her 1 week ago, came to a construction site. The road marking was renewed. There were 2 workers on site. One regulated the traffic, the other sat on his “color car” and e My wife came out of the side street and wanted to turn left. The “colour car” passed her from left to right when the second man moved her with arm movements to drive through. My wife turned off accordingly. Arrived, car parked and no longer paid attention to it. When she came back to the car about 1 hour later, she saw that the left side (both directly behind the wheels) and the wheel boxes inside were completely covered with white splashed paint. When I arrived home, she tried to remove the paint: NO CHANCE!! I, mighty loaded, had been to the city today and presented the facts. The man told me that he was not responsible, but another congregation. When he called there, the other official said that my wife should be glad that she had not been billed, because the line had to be drawn because of her. Smart Repair
Meal together, let’s ask a question. I had a *?x*! cut a key scraper into the passenger door (Tarantella black) months ago. It is easy 30-40cm long, pretty central on the door and goes up to the primer (not to the tin!). Now I wanted to get to the disposal and collected the following information: – “No problem!” (Smart Repairer) – “Smart Repairers we don’t trust in the way” (My conditioner) – “Too big for Smart Repair” (VW Hä ndler) – “approx. 600,- Euro, door has to be painted” (2 VW dealers) Now I don’t know anything anymore. I find the VW price ridiculous, for half I get 2 bumpers painted with the paintr. Of course with invoice. Because of the door I haven’t asked with the paintr yet, it didn’t turn up… What can Smart Repairer really do? Does that do what? I want to avoid on the one hand unnecessary (even more) money with meaninglessness at the Phaeton, on the other hand I am a s Very sensitive person and everything under 100% is even more thrown out money. My dealer has removed a few scratches from the rear bumper, that has simply become perfect. So smart repair can’t be that bad. Unfortunately, I overthrew myself with them, so that’s not an option. I am not satisfied with the braking performance of my V10TDI. Drive almost exclusively highway, about 60-65 tkm p.a. Besides, I am disturbed by the fact that I can exchange all 20 tkm brake pads and brake discs, cost point about 1700-1800 €. I would like to make one-time money into an orde I would be happy if I could get tips from the “practice”, who has installed other pads / discs? Thank you!

Hurrah, my Phaeton is here! After the first damper – no white painted sleepers! – (but will still be painted), I got my Phaeton today! It is from 6 2007 and has all the equipment, except sunroof and switch paddle. I would have liked the sliding roof, I can do without the shift paddle, even if the V8 invites to the road robber. I ordered the car without having seen a picture before – therefore also the surprise of the non-painted sleepers… Z A “Volkswagen VIP customer” – whatever that is – had reserved the car so to speak away from me… Then I got them properly “on the roof” and he was given free again. Together with the Campanella White and the piano lacquer black – really nice, I think! With 11tkm and 50,000 euros for special equipment – a bargain! Of course leased and not bought. For the same leasing rates I would have got a well-equipped 5 Series BMW – there was no choice In the future 2 cm less height, as well as next spring Black/Silver rims will be added – even if some of them will snub over the “tuning” – Black/Silver rims with a white car, I find simply beautiful.
