The lease refers me to the dealer and the dealer has unfortunately not registered so far. The thickness is BJ 4/2009 and has by now almost 50,000km on the clock. Leasing rate is with full equipment at 500net/month. Remaining time would be 24 months and residual kilometers would be almost 46,000km. I do not want to sell it here, however, it is rather about how I get rid of my fat guy without packing the difference of just under EUR 15000 on the table, because then I can “let it stand”. By the way, even if it would be a sin: Is there the possibility to unsubscribe the FZ and then put it in the garage until the end of the lease? Would probably be due to theft etc. ne “Mistidee”… Someone else ideas? ) Best regards nordics

Phaeton V10 TDI Experience Report
Hello, since December 2009 I drive a V10 TDI, year 2004, at that time 138Tkm, today 183Tkm. Because I know how insecure buyers are, I would like to describe briefly my experiences: 1. The purchase The car was bought from the VW dealer incl. used car warranty. From 100Tkm the warranty covers only 40% of the material costs and 100% labor costs. After all: the guarantee gave me a certain security. And the purchase price was absolutely within the scope (also in comparison with private sale). 2. Zuve The car is driven a lot (45000 km in 8 months) and is always outdoors. Reliability: 100%. Not the least failure. 3. Fuel costs I often drive in the professional traffic highway; lawn is not possible there. If the opportunity arises, I drive even once until the rules. Often, however, I enjoy the gentle sliding. Consumption over the last 45T km: 10,2 l/100km. I am absolutely satisfied with that. 4. Comfort Without equal. e. I have (in the meantime) had all 4 wheel bearings replaced (guarantee; self cost approx. 400 EUR), which brought relief. The winter tyres (dunlop) are unpleasantly loud. Very quiet is the car never! 5. Cost I just had the 180 Tkm inspection done. The alone hit with 1000 EUR to book (there are also bearings of the gear holder replaced). In addition there were 2 brake discs in front, new brake blocks in front left and right, new brake blocks in the back left. The fun cost 2800 EUR Conclusion: I Ch doesn’t want to miss the car anymore and I’m glad to have decided to. Maintenance costs are moderate, if you don’t mind inspection costs. If you love the V10, you get a fantastic motorization, you have to take a higher soundscape. And only has a yellow badge! I promise myself of the engine a long durability, and would like to drive a few more 100Tkm. Many greetings

100,000 km INspection
That worked great again: service is due, well, it won’t be that bad. Ok battery is flat, 6 years old, lots of short drives and always Power CD. The master calls: A light candle is flat, we do all 6…. Some brake fluid, new battery, 8.3 liters oil. new wiper blades.: Makes 1588 EUR bill HURRA, I love my friend. Service manager calls: ” Uh, if you get mail from the government bureau…. the master is at the test drive blitzt worde…we pay that of course….” Never more VW workshop, that was the last time!

kessy writes error entry / selector lever position P is not detected
Hello, the following problem: due to completely unloaded power supply battery, there were a lot of error entries in different control units. I have charged the battery again and usually everything is running again. Not this time: The message “Please selector lever on position P” does not go out. The selector lever is on position P, the display “P” on the gearbox choice also lights up red. I had this before, especially in cold weather. A repeated jerking had created a remedy. Not so now. Because he does not recognize the position P, he does not allow a motor start, nor can I pull the key again. Do you have an idea? Thank you and greetings. Purchase of vehicles after special leasing
Hello Phaeton friends, I could now buy my Phaeton 3.0 V6 TDI DPF 4motion Tiptronic, first registration 7/2007, now 55,000 Km, mehm. New price 77.996.– € for 27,709,– € from VW. The car has been a lot of fun and joy for the last 2 years and I had no problems with the vehicle. If I knew that it would stay that way for a while, I wouldn’t hesitate. But now I’m not really a car freak and I just have to worry that The car would then be almost 7 years old and would probably have about 100,000 km on it. Who has experience with this age group and how is your opinion and advice on the matter. I hope you can make my decision a little easier for me. Thanks Kasparinus

oha moment in ACC failure
Today I have been on the highway with a light snowstorm. The other road users probably have great respect for snow next to the highway and therefore they drove on the left lane in Kolonne 100. So I turned on my distance machine and ride comfortably afterwards. The car in front of me is now getting a little faster and the gap larger, so that my car accelerates. Suddenly however with almost full throttle. I was surprised, because the gap now not so I was even more surprised when the acceleration did not stop when the other car came closer. I could not look at the display from the ACC at the moment when my passenger telephoned with the fixed telephone and that was displayed on the display. So for safety reasons I braked at far too small safety distance. A few seconds later the message “no distance control possible h” o.ä. (I guess because of the slight snowfall). Now the car apparently wanted to speed up to Tempomat 180 (the set speed) when the distance radar failed. I think this can end very badly. Is this the “normal” procedure in case of an ACC failure? Is there perhaps an update for this? So something can not be right, in case of a mistake mMn should get a message and the Tempomat/ACC should go out immediately.

New presentation
Good evening, wanted to throw a hello in the round. I am Henrik, come from Braunschweig and gave myself a 2007 V6 (GP1) (for my 28th birthday) and picked up today. I like this limousine form simply, had already the W124, W126, Superb 1 and now Phaeton. Tarantella black, inside grey with poplarmaser black and extended wooden package, looks quite nice. Before buying all 147 pages of these forums (were some good tips) but on a F find no answer: What exactly is the “phone preparation with RSAP” (PR: PTE) and “phone preparation with hands-free device” (9ZF) exactly? Do I have both, but when I press “phone”, he always says: Not available! Is there still any Bluetooth receiver missing? The VAS tester does not find the module either… Thank you and Gruss, Henrik

@ phaetonerists, what did you drive before?
Hello to all Phaetonists, would be interesting to know from which brand the Phaeton drivers come. Just so statistically seen, which other car brand had the biggest migration. I start with: Jaguar Daimler Super V8 from 1998 4.0 l V8 with compressor and a few modifications about 400 HP Pro: sits like a custom suit and looks like from 0-100 in 5.3 sec., this is almost a racing car Classic circular instruments, embedded in noble expensive real wood and handv sewn leather seats Contra: the worst windscreen wipers since there are cars (in case of rain and ice only in blind flight) from 180 KM/h are no longer possible conversations 22l/100 KM customer service, what is that??? had to change the dealer four times because they were all broke.

Phaeton purchase is pending, what is to be paid attention?
Hi, I hope a little support from you here! I have been driving my Mercedes W203 sports coupe for 2 years now and am now looking for the more… The Phaeton I liked the introduction very much, and since the prices for the vehicle are now working in the basement, I decided to treat myself to a Phaeton. Therefore I wanted to ask you what to pay attention to, which engine is known to be more vulnerable, what should you pay attention to when buying, maybe there are S I don’t care if I have a V6, V8 or V10, I am a quiet driver with my 6 years, more important it is to me that it should be long-lasting. I have set myself as a maximum limit of 17.000€. I think I can buy up to 150.000€ quietly, of course less kilometers are always better, but what would talk about it if it was a top maintained vehicle?? I hope that I am able to from you can learn a lot, I am anyway someone who likes to make, it won’t take long and my Phaeton will look much more beautiful optically than it is already, be it with beautiful rims, by a foling, or or or thanks for your help, which could protect me from a mispurchase ! ! !

Phaeton versus electric car. Discussion and fire free!
For and against the electric car. Let’s look at the efficiency from the power generation to the electric motor on the drive axis (without gearbox, of course, as no longer necessary!) I standardize the values to 1. That means 1=100% Starting from the fossil energy source I start at 1 so 100% I take the summary of the individual efficiencies at the end. Who wants to skip the individual loss levels can jump right to the table. r provided that I start in the petrol.- Oil or gas tank of the power plant, which has to give you electricity so that you can drive. Information on the proportion of regenerative energy fluctuate in Germany between 6.8 and 10% depending on the district. I assume in favour of the e-mobile times 10%. The conversion in the power plant to electricity begins with the combustion. Good thermal values reach 0.96 of the rest is radiation and exhaust losses (0.04) For the extermia (mechanical conversion) can be caused by the Turbine only half of the heat is converted into mechanical energy by changing the pressure. The other part is in the residual heat of the water, which does not leave the turbine cold. Now I have hot steam for the turbine. The turbine also has an efficiency of 0.48 (world record SIEMENS). The rest goes as no longer usable steam, since already pressure as with the cooking pot is reached in the cooling tower to be liquefied again to feed water of the boilers. Here too we can achieve an efficiency of 0.97 (bicycle dynamo approx. 20-30%) This current has for isolation reasons “only a voltage of about 400 volts and is too low for a transmission into the European-wide grid. So a substation is necessary at each power plant. 250,000 volts (250kV) and some 100-1000 amps are sent on the journey. The substation at best comes to an efficiency of 0.98 The cable losses up to to your city are also around 0.9. You can’t start with 250 kV but not much. So, again a medium voltage station on 10 kV with 0.9 and then with you on site in the road on 400 / 230 volts also with 0.9 Now we have arrived at your socket in the garage to charge your e-car. Up to here we have reached an overall efficiency of optimistic 0.35 = 35%. Now your high-tech charger comes to the socket and continue with 0.9 With the battery has been n I saved it and used the best principle in your car. Sorry. But still we can’t get beyond 0.8 by the chemical conversion with the heating. So, now off to the engine on the axle. However, the detour still leads over a power control that from any signal of you tells the engine how fast you want to drive. So 0.9 x 0.9 = 0.81 If we look at the e-car alone, it doesn’t look bad at first sight! Charger 0.9 x battery 0.8 x control ung and electric motor 0.81 = 0.58 = 58% respect, respect ! A conventional car just comes to about 35-37% Now we want to complete the calculation. Table of the individual efficiencies in the technical order: steam generator 0.96 turbine 0.48 Dynamo 0.97 substation 250kV 0.98 power transmission 0.9 substation 10kV 0.95 low voltage transformer by location 0.95 charger battery 0.9 battery efficiency 0.8 power control 0.9 engine on the axle 0.9 total efficiency electric mobile = 0.207….. so about, 21 % you get out of the fossil energy that supplies your electricity in the end. Please calculate !!! A share of 1 % of regenerative energy with an input mix of 10 % of the total share of the production !! For comparison: Steam engine about 20% on coal-based car with petrol engine 35-37% on fossil energy like the power plant. Diesel of course slightly better Source of the individual values: Company information Siemens, E-ON Technical reports of various universities, lectures, lectures Bez you drive around with a steam engine of 1850. Shame on you!
