Moin Moin Phaetonists, I’ve been following some posts for a while and I thought I’d look in and imagine myself. So as you can see, I’m still very young, but I hope you’re all tolerant enough So…. I own a Phaeton V10 that I bought in 2009. Since then I’ve been driving almost 100,000km and up to now I haven’t had anything except a broken tail apron! The car just won’t let me down. Hello, I mean that the topic has been addressed here several times, however, can find nothing via the search engine. I would like to extend my PerfectCar Pro warranty (BJ 2007, 87,000 km) So I first call at a car dealership in Stuttgart-Fellbach (postiv list here in the forum) and tell you that I bought a vehicle somewhere else and would like to extend the warranty now. Answer: PerfectCar we don’t do. Then I call at the car dealership where I bought the car. Statement: because I have not done an inspection since (comes only at 90,000 km) you have to prefer it or do a used car check. Is this statement right? I don’t see the point of doing a purge when extending the warranty. Either it is already insured anyway or not covered by the insurance scope. Does anyone have practical experience here? In the meantime, I have asked for a third car dealership, but this issue has not yet been addressed. They call back how to do it. But I would of course like to go on the safe side.

Hello everyone, I’ve already given my fingers a sore tip, but unfortunately you can’t find any useful information online about the leasing conditions for 1% leasing. You only come across the standard sheet (one page DIN A4), on which the rough framework conditions are explained, which is otherwise not meaningful. What interests me, however, are the exact conditions in the leasing contract, i.e. the “small print”, especially with regard to the return or early termination of the leasing contract. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove or remove the front head restraints in the 18 way seats (with electric adjustment)? I play with the thought to replace the original head restraints by head restraints with screens and am unsure if I should replace the head restraints completely as there would be the possibility to attach the screens to the current ones.

Hello, I might like to buy a VW Phaeton V6 TDI. On the Internet there are unfortunately many confusing and inconclusive reports about the Phaeton. I would be interested in where there are actually differences between the first version of the Phaeton and the revised 08 model. Which children’s diseases were possibly ironed out etc. 2. Is it noticeable that the used Phaetons around the 100,000Km already had an above average number of previous owners, often 2 and more! Your guess what this would be about would interest me! My idea was possibly high maintenance costs? or is the car not reliable? About suggestions, comments, criticism etc. I would be grateful.

First impression GP4 after around 1000km: – switch lever not as bad as feared – The new wood is great (Pappelmaser grey), reminds me strongly of bird’s eye maple (Daimler) – Wi-Fi hotspot works fine, nice feature – finally a SIM card reader AND you can now import the phone book of your smartphone into the RNA and the SIM phone can access it! The totssyncen has an end – I miss the CD changer now – the engine (3.0TDI) behaves like in the GP3, no extra power or other tuning feelable – the center console incl. RNS look “more valuable” – the new buttons on the steering wheel “click” -> very annoying! – new interior light concept -> very consistent! – operating element back -> nice toys, I am curious whether I can replace it at the leasing end (children!) – the new front: not worse and not better – experiment leather color diamond/anthracite -> all photos were and are useless, therefore well ordered to me _L98 very good!

Good day, I drive a V6 TDI from 05/2006. The “rust” problems on the doors described here have already occurred on the vehicle and have been removed without any problems. On Friday, the friendly person opened up to me that all doors are revised in the context of a factory action and that all doors are planned for a week. The doors would be completely disassembled, inspected and possible defects removed. For this time I should get a golf as a replacement car. Therefore two questions: 1. Is this action known and which years of construction are affected? 2. Because of the class of the replacement car I did not ask further, but, until when does Phaeton apply to Phaeton? At this point thanks to protagonists, knowledge collectors and patient answerers of this forum. I have never been so well informed about a vehicle. Thanks already here Flughorn
